Amanda Batula is not staying quiet after Kyle Cooke’s latest comments about her nightly weed use aired on “Summer House.”
During Tuesday night’s episode, Kyle, 43, spoke with Jesse Solomon and West Wilson about his relationship with Amanda, 34, and suggested her marijuana use played a role in their lack of intimacy and even the state of their apartment. (Some viewers—cough cough— saw the moment as an attempt to shift the narrative and frame Amanda as the “bad guy” in their split — but longtime fans were quick to point out they’ve watched Kyle’s questionable behavior towards her for years.)
The conversation immediately sparked backlash online — and Amanda appeared to agree with the critics.
After the episode aired, a fan shared a TikTok weighing in on Kyle’s remarks. “If you didn’t know that Amanda Batula was gardening, you have not been paying attention,” the creator said. “I’ve seen that girl — my queen — make some of the most outrageous late-night snacks. You haven’t been paying attention.”

The TikToker then addressed Kyle directly: “By the way, Kyle, that’s not why you aren’t hooking up with your wife. That’s not why. If anything, that’s only making you tolerable to her. I’m really sorry. I’m sorry, man.”
Amanda kept it short but pointed. In the comments, she replied, “You get it.”
Kyle also took to social media to defend himself after another post questioned why he didn’t clean their apartment instead of complaining about it. A podcaster sarcastically wrote, “poor [Kyle],” referencing his frustration about the messy home.
Kyle responded in the comments, writing, “Maybe just maybe it’s all of Amanda’s stuff and that I would normally have a cleaning lady come if only the cleaning lady could enter and clean? The internet is insanely judgmental for being completely clueless and lacking actual context and facts. The hate is f*cking absurd quite frankly.”
Amanda continues to keep it classy. Her next move is stepping into a new “Summer House” spinoff, “In the City,” which will feature both her and Cooke alongside Lindsay Hubbard — plus, as she hints, their “real true friends.”
“Kyle and I are both doing really well right now, and we’re both happy, and just focusing on healing and continuing to better ourselves,” Batula recently told Page Six while promoting her new partnership with LoveSac.
“It’s a path that I’m very happy to continue going down,” she added. “Enjoying every day just feels better and better, and that’s been a really amazing thing to happen.”
Watch Kyle continue to try and shift the narrative when new episodes of “Summer House” air Tuesday nights on Bravo.
