Insider Claims Venita Aspen’s Stay Preceded Avi Gabay’s Firing
According to a January 18 Reddit post, an insider alleged that Avi’s firing stemmed from an incident involving “Southern Charm” star Venita Aspen. The source claimed Sutton allowed Venita, 32, to stay at her New York City property last year, but the home was not properly prepared when Venita arrived.
“Sutton was upset and blamed Avi,” the source wrote, alleging he was let go shortly after. The insider added that the situation was “actually a boring story,” suggesting the drama may have been inflated for television.
Sutton Stracke Questions Claims Made on RHOBH
Following the episode, Sutton addressed the rumors on the “RHOBH” After Show. She made it clear she was skeptical of the idea that Avi would threaten to leak information about her.
“I don’t even know if Avi said that,” Sutton said. “It doesn’t sound like him, it doesn’t make sense. It was weird.”
As fans continue to wonder why Avi has remained quiet, Instagram account The Pink Pop Box claimed he allegedly signed a non-disclosure agreement related to Sutton. According to the post, the NDA would legally prevent Avi from discussing the situation publicly.
“Unless she slips up, we will never know what really went down,” the account claimed.

Is it just me, orrr…who cares?!? They were friends/friendly, but they also had an employer/employee relationship. That doesn’t always work out.🤷♀️🙄
This obsession for why assistants leave or dragging out the drama is so lame—employees leave for many reasons, and I’ve had to fire folks a time or two for things but would never blast it publicly. Amanda was immature for even bringing it up in the way she did, it was a private conversation she’s chasing.

I don’t care enough about Sutton to want to know, but I don’t think Avi would risk breaching the NDA by saying anything about her.
