The final chapter of Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval’s messy post-split living situation may finally be coming to an end. The former “Vanderpump Rules” couple reached an agreement in their legal battle over the sale of their shared Los Angeles home — nearly three years after their dramatic breakup rocked Bravo fandom.
The update comes after Ariana pushed to force a sale of the house, while Tom fought to keep it. Now, it sounds like the legal tug-of-war is headed toward a resolution.
Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval Reach Settlement in Home Sale Case
Ariana filed a notice of settlement of the entire case in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday, according to Page Six. The dismissal is listed as “conditional,” meaning the case will be dismissed only if both sides complete the “specified terms” within 30 days of the settlement.
Per the filing, Ariana and Tom will return to court on February 5 for a final status conference. If Tom does not meet the agreement’s conditions, the case could still go to trial on February 17.
The lawsuit began in January 2024 when Ariana, 40, sued Tom, 42, to force the sale of their Valley Village home in the San Fernando Valley. She also asked the court for an “equitable allocation of the proceeds of sale” of the property.
The exes purchased the home in February 2019 for $2 million.
Ariana and Tom’s House Drama Has Been a Long Time Coming
The dispute over the house has lingered since Ariana and Tom ended their decade-long relationship in March 2023 after Tom’s months-long affair with their co-star Rachel “Raquel” Leviss became public.
Even after their breakup, Ariana and Tom continued living in the same home for two months — mostly avoiding each other — before she moved out in May 2023. She later bought a new Hollywood Hills home for $1.6 million.
Ariana went on to start dating Daniel Wai shortly after her split, and the two have maintained a long-distance relationship, as he lives in New York City.
Tom, meanwhile, wanted to keep the Valley Village house and claimed he offered Ariana $3.1 million in cash to buy her out — but said she refused for what he called “petty” reasons, per Page Six.
He has since moved on as well. Tom moved in with his current girlfriend, Victoria Lee Robinson, in November 2024.
