The premiere party for Netflix’s new reality series “Members Only: Palm Beach” may have had champagne and status… but it also reportedly had drama.

Eyewitness Jean-Claude Langerholc, spoke to Reality Tea and claimed breakout star Gale Brophy was asked to leave the event — and that the situation stemmed from tension with cast member Taja Abitbol. Reality Tea also reported that it has seen footage of Brophy saying she was told to vacate the party.

Langerholc didn’t mince words when describing what went down. “A lot of this jealousy is on Taja’s side,” he claimed. “Gale was innocent and completely shocked when she got put out by the security guard.”

He went on to suggest Abitbol may have been trying to push Brophy out of the spotlight. “Taja is making the Housewives rookie mistake of trying to ice somebody out of filming and press,” he alleged, adding that some of the women “aren’t able to hold their own, and they’re not the main characters that they think they are.”

Despite not being one of the show’s five main cast members, Brophy reportedly already has a big presence on the series — described as more of a “friend of” powerhouse role similar to what viewers see in the “Real Housewives” universe.

Langerholc also said Brophy wasn’t rattled after the incident. “I was completely horrified when Gale got put out, so we went out afterwards to celebrate at Le Bilboquet,” he said. “She’s completely unbothered, but a lot of the other ladies’ feathers are ruffled that she’s been, so far, the breakout star.”

On the show itself, Brophy is portrayed as a longtime Palm Beach socialite and mentor figure to Rosalyn Yellin. One moment that seems to have rubbed some women the wrong way: Brophy gifting Yellin a tiara and saying, “In America, our royalty is in social positions.”

If this is what the cast is serving at the premiere party, Netflix might want to start clearing space on the schedule for season 2 already.

“Members Only: Palm Beach” is streaming on Netflix now.
