Since this is our first annual Bravo & Cocktails Awards, we had to give Cocktailers the chance to weigh in on the biggest scoop we’ve ever broken — and let’s just say, the options were not small. Over the years, our tips and leaks have ranged from jaw-dropping breakups to rumors that sent entire fandoms into meltdown mode.

But while some awards this year came down to the wire, this one wasn’t even close.

The Scoops That Changed the Bravo Timeline

The nominees represented some of the most talked-about moments in Bravo history. There was Scandoval — the scandal that detonated Vanderpump Rules and permanently altered the cast dynamic. Madison LeCroy being linked to Alex Rodriguez before it hit the mainstream headlines also made waves, as did the heartbreaking news surrounding the passing of Queen Elizabeth before it was officially announced.

Fans also weighed in on the Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard breakup from “Summer House,” the unexpected Joe Bradley and Luann de Lesseps hookup tied to “Southern Hospitality” and “The Real Housewives of New York City,” and the shock split between Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

Still, nothing came close to Scandoval. When voting closed, the scandal took home a staggering 83.7 percent of the vote. Cocktailers made it clear this was the scoop that broke the internet — the moment fans learned that Tom Sandoval had been cheating on his co-star and live-in girlfriend of nearly a decade, Ariana Madix, with her best friend —and one of our fave BEC—Rachel Leviss.

It wasn’t just a storyline. It was a cultural reset. And yes — you’re welcome, Bravo fans.
