Dorit Kemsley Seemingly Confirms Kyle Richards’ Mystery Relationship

After years of speculation, Kyle Richards has finally opened up about her dating life following her separation from Mauricio Umansky — and this time, the dots were officially connected. While Kyle carefully avoided names, pronouns, and specifics during the latest episode of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Dorit Kemsley later confirmed what many fans already believed: Kyle was talking about country music singer Morgan Wade.

Rumors about Kyle and Morgan have swirled for nearly two years, with the two repeatedly insisting they were just close friends. Morgan has appeared on “RHOBH” in the past, but Kyle previously made it clear she would not discuss her out of respect for Morgan’s desire to remain private. That all shifted in season 15.

Dorit Kemsley Confirms Kyle Richards Was Talking About Morgan Wade

During the Dec. 11 episode of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Kyle revealed to Erika Jayne that she had been in a serious relationship after separating from Mauricio in 2023.

“I was in a relationship. I was in a very vulnerable place in my life and I fell hard for this person,” Kyle shared. “I’m in love with somebody, I want to share that, I don’t care, I’m an open person like that. But that doesn’t mean the person I’m with feels the same way.”

Kyle explained that the relationship ultimately couldn’t survive the constant scrutiny. “All of the speculation and the gossip and the talking was ultimately what ended” it, she admitted.

While Kyle never identified the person, Dorit did shortly after. Appearing on “Watch What Happens Live,” Dorit told Andy Cohen that the cast had long known who Kyle was referring to.

“I think that’s it. That’s all she ever really had to say,” Dorit said. “That’s it. All you ever had to say was that and nothing else would’ve followed.”

Guest Zooey Deschanel weighed in as well, noting she could understand why the situation was difficult. She explained she could see “how it could be difficult if you’re on a show for a long time and your life is very public and you get involved with somebody and they don’t want to be public.”

That’s when Dorit added a final detail that confirmed everything fans suspected. “She’s a public figure, by the way,” Dorit said — a comment widely interpreted as confirmation that Kyle was referring to Morgan.
