“Love Is Blindstars Brennon Lemieux and Alexa Lemieux surprised fans when they announced their separation in December 2025. Now, Brennon is revealing what went wrong, sharing the first specific details about the split in his official divorce filing.

Brennon, 35, and Alexa, 31, married in 2021 during season 3 ofLove Is Blind.They welcomed a daughter in July 2024 and appeared to be one of the experiment’s long-term success stories. But court documents obtained by Us Weekly show the marriage had been deteriorating behind the scenes long before the public announcement.

In his filing, Brennon stated their marriage hadbecome insupportabledue to aconflict of personalities,adding that the issues prevented anyreasonable expectation of reconciliation.In plain terms: the couple couldn’t find common ground and couldn’t find a way back.

Brennon also requested to retain the assets he owned before the marriage. Regarding custody of their daughter, he asked the court to approve awritten agreementif he and Alexa can reach one. If not, he wants the court to determine custody, visitation, and support.

A detail fans will immediately recognize: Brennon and Alexa did not sign a prenuptial agreement — something they famously debated onLove Is Blind.And now, that decision is becoming a very real part of the legal process.

Alexa announced the breakup in a December 3 Instagram statement, writing:After much reflection and many heartfelt conversations, we have made the difficult decision to end our marriage.She emphasized that the choicewas not made lightly.”

“We entered this relationship with love and optimism,she wrote.We leave it with gratitude for the experiences that shaped us and the growth we each gained along the way.”

She added that they remainsupportive of one another, devoted to our daughter, and committed to navigating this transition with compassion,before asking for privacy as they adjust to co-parenting.
