Jessi Ngatikaura and Demi Engemann are not waiting for the reunion stage to start swinging. “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” co-stars have taken their off-camera feud fully public, and the accusations are somehow even wilder than what we’re watching on screen.
It all started when Jessi accused Demi’s husband Bret Engemann of a shocking sex act — and Demi confirmed it happened, describing the encounter as “one-time behind closed doors” and consensual. From there, the drama only escalated.
Jessi and Demi Bring ‘Fruity Pebbles’ Back Into the Spotlight
The infamous “Fruity Pebbles” storyline hasn’t been forgotten. In season 1 of “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” Whitney Leavitt gave Demi a box of cereal as a joke, hinting at a private moment between Demi and Bret. Viewers never got the full story.
But in the new season, Jessi claimed she had an affair with Marciano Brunette — the same man Demi later accused of sexually assaulting her while filming “Vanderpump Villa.” Marciano’s boss Lisa Vanderpump weighed in and said she personally reviewed the footage, implying the allegations didn’t match what she saw.
After Lisa’s interview went viral, Demi couldn’t resist taking a shot at Jessi.
“Jessi’s somewhere punching air right now that Lisa is talking about me and not her,” Demi commented.
Jessi immediately fired back in a video, accusing Demi’s husband of some questionable preferences.

“She got caught on camera, she knows it, and she’s trying to backtrack,” Jessi said. “So since she wants to be petty and be an a**hole, I think I’m just gonna go ahead and say that Grandpa Bret likes to drink her pi$$, like it’s dirty soda.”
Yes, she really said that.
Demi responded with a lengthy statement, confirming the private moment and calling Jessi’s reveal a low blow.
“What my husband and I did one-time behind closed doors, was a consensual and private experience in our marriage,” Demi wrote. “I won’t let a private act between my husband and I be a distraction from a serious act that I did not consent to.”
Demi also accused Jessi of weaponizing a story that was shared with her in confidence.
“It’s very telling that she’s choosing to bring it up now, only after her own affair has come to light,” Demi added.
At this point, the cereal mystery is the least scandalous thing about their friendship. And if this is how they’re behaving online, just imagine what the reunion is going to look like.
