Jen Shah really will be home for the holidays — something even Bravo viewers weren’t betting on. After serving just over two years of her six-and-a-half-year prison sentence, the 52-year-old “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” alum has received an updated release date from the Federal Bureau of Prisons. According to a new report, Jen will walk out on December 10.

Her manager, Chris Giovanni, couldn’t hide his relief, telling People on November 21, “Everyone’s very grateful for the BOP’s decision, especially because it means Jen will be able to reunite with her family for the holidays. It’s a gift she doesn’t take for granted.”

And yes — he insists Jen has changed. “Jen’s in a really positive, hopeful place mentally,” Chris said. “She’s done a lot of reflecting and real growth during her time away, and is genuinely not the same woman as she was before.”

Jen Shah Leaves Prison Early After ‘Growth,’ Programs & Good Behavior

Chris added that Jen’s focus now is “a healthier, more grounded life,” noting she “understands the seriousness of the mistakes she made.” The early release follows a series of reductions tied to good behavior and participation in prison programs.

A BOP spokesperson also issued a statement of their own, saying, “For privacy, safety, and security reasons, we do not discuss any incarcerated individual’s conditions of confinement or specific release plans.”

Jen was originally accused of conning money out of victims — including seniors — through a telemarketing scheme. She pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud in 2022 and expressed remorse in court. “I am sorry. My actions have hurt innocent people,” she said at the time. “I want to apologize by saying, I am doing all I can to earn the funds to pay restitution.

Where she goes next remains to be seen. Reports say Jen may head straight home or be placed in a halfway house to complete the final stretch of her sentence.

Meanwhile, just months before this update, Jen shared a photo from a prison visit with husband Sharrieff “Coach” Shah, celebrating their 31st wedding anniversary. “Words cannot express how much I love and appreciate you,” she wrote. The couple shares two sons, Sharrieff Jr., 31, and Omar, 22.
