Kim Zolciak just can’t seem to stay out of courtroom drama — even when it’s not her own. The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” and “Don’t Be Tardy” alum is still in the middle of her never-ending split from Kroy Biermann, but now her new relationship with Texas businessman Kyle Mowitz has landed her in another messy legal story.
Kim Zolciak’s New Man’s Ex Drags the Former RHOA Star Into Divorce Drama
Kyle filed to end his marriage to Jillian Green back in March, citing an “irretrievably broken” relationship. The two share young twins and had been married since 2017. In his filing, Kyle made sure to note that his relationship with Kim had “nothing to do” with the breakup. But that didn’t stop Jillian from bringing up the Bravo star when questioned under oath.
According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, Jillian had plenty to say about her estranged husband’s new girlfriend. “I have watched her on TV for years and just seen in many articles online that her life is filled with drama, and she’s in a very nasty divorce,” Jillian said. She added that people in their community described Kim as “dramatic and didn’t show up much for her children’s activities.”
While Jillian admitted she doesn’t believe Kim caused her marriage to crumble, she didn’t hold back when accusing Kyle of suspicious financial moves. She alleged that he transferred millions of dollars into a trust worth “in excess of $100 million dollars.” His attorneys denied it, insisting the trust wasn’t created to hide assets — and that Jillian was the one who initiated the split.
Then came an unexpected twist: Jillian revealed she had been contacted by Kroy himself. She testified that Kroy “called me” to “warn” her about Kim, allegedly claiming she “was narcissistic and had a gambling problem.” Jillian even said Kroy showed her grocery receipts charged to Kyle’s cards.
Kim has since denied all of Kroy’s claims. During a recent Q&A, she confirmed her new romance with “Big Poppa Kyle,” saying, “Almost two years after I filed for divorce, I went on my first date and we have been together since. Kyle and I went through the exact same situation, so we identify with each other.”
