Denise Richards’ Estranged Husband Aaron Phypers Taken Into Custody

Aaron Phypers’ divorce drama with Denise Richards just took a shocking turn. The 53-year-old actor was arrested inside a Los Angeles courtroom on Friday, reportedly on spousal abuse charges — all while the “Wild Things” star continues to seek a permanent restraining order against him.

Aaron Phypers’ Arrest Shocks the Courtroom

According to Fox News, Aaron was handcuffed during his court appearance and escorted out by sheriffs. Witnesses claimed he shouted and argued with officers while being taken away, even as they returned moments later to retrieve his phone.

TMZ reports that Aaron was later released from the Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station after posting a $200,000 bond.

This latest incident comes as Denise, 54, testified earlier this month about alleged violent encounters during their marriage. The “Denise Richards & Her Wild Things” and “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum claimed Aaron’s actions left her with “at least three concussions” and a black eye after a 2022 incident. She also alleged he once “squeezed [her] head so hard” it felt like he was “crushing [her] skull.”

Aaron, however, has denied the abuse allegations, telling his attorney that Denise “bruises easily” and insisting, “I don’t abuse my wife.” He’s also accused the actress of infidelity and substance misuse — and is now seeking half of her OnlyFans earnings, claiming she makes up to $300,000 a month.
