RHONJ star Danielle Cabral has shared heartbreaking news about her husband Nate Cabral, who is preparing for a second brain surgery. The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” alum revealed Nate’s symptoms recently returned, years after his first major health scare.
RHONJ Star Shares Emotional Family Update
Danielle, who joined RHONJ in season 13, posted photos and a video of Nate heading into the hospital. She explained that he originally had emergency surgery back in 2017 to remove a colloid cyst from his brain, just days before their daughter Vee was born.
“In 2017, days before Vee was born, Nate had emergency brain surgery to remove a colloid cyst from his third ventricle. He was very sick,” Danielle wrote. “His symptoms recently started coming back, and after taking a scan a few weeks ago, we learned his cyst has grown. In one week, he will be heading back into NYU for his second brain surgery.”
The mom of two tried to keep things light by mentioning the return of the infamous “brain cake” that Nate had the first time around, but the situation is clearly weighing heavy on her.

Her RHONJ castmates quickly filled the comments with messages of support. Melissa Gorga wrote, “Sending love! You got this!!” Margaret Josephs added, “Sending prayers and full speedy recovery.” Dolores Catania even chimed in with, “Your in good hands and we will be praying for u guys please let us know if we can help in any way.”
Even Bravo boss Andy Cohen joined in, writing: “Sending you positive health vibes Nate! You got this!!!!!”
The news comes as RHONJ itself sits in limbo after season 14 imploded due to nonstop cast feuds.
Amid rumors of a cast shake-up and test filming without OG Teresa Giudice, a source reached out to us and confirmed Danielle was back “in the mix” for season 15.
“After basically being iced out by production, Danielle Cabral is back in the mix and in talks with a few people at Sirens Media, thanks to her ties with a few of the alleged RHONJ newbies who have test filmed,” the source shared.
