NeNe Leakes has admitted on Cynthia Bailey’s Humble Brag podcast that she WAS supposed to be on The Traitors season 4 but had to back out because her son was in the hospital.

We will be hearing (and I think soon) that she’s back on the Real Housewives of Atlanta. I know you’ve hinted at it, but sources say it’s a lock!

OHHHH, and also as you posted, we’re hearing Kenya Moore too.

But Would NeNe Leakes Return to RHOA As a ‘Friend’?

NeNe Leakes has always said she’d consider returning to RHOA—but only “if the opportunity was right and the check was on point.”

Cynthia, who is currently filming RHOA in a “friend of” role, also asked NeNe if she’d ever consider returning in a limited capacity. NeNe didn’t hold back.

“I just would think, NeNe, Season 1, the first Housewife, and I’m a friend? I don’t know,” she said with a laugh, making it clear that a full-time role would be the only thing worth her time.

 While Bravo hasn’t made anything official, the buzz behind the scenes is that NeNe is very close to locking in her return as a full-time Housewife. 

If true, this would mark NeNe’s first time holding a peach since season 12. For those keeping track: NeNe starred in RHOA seasons 1 through 7, returned as a guest in season 8, and came back full-time for seasons 10 through 12 before exiting the franchise in 2020.
