Copy over a blurred picture - what does NBCU think about Bravo's show Next Gen NYC

Cocktailers, we got this email to the Send Us Tea inbox…looks like NBCU thinks that Next Gen NYC is the future of the network! We often get emails that read like a publicist wrote it, like this one. If so, whose publicist do we think wrote this? Meredith Marks? Ariana Biermann? NBCU?

Subject: Bravo’s New Hit: Younger Audience, New Stars, and a Future Franchise

NBCU is obsessed with Next Gen NYC. They genuinely think they’ve found their next big signature franchise, like what Real Housewives was for them years ago. The plan is to build out a full Next Gen universe, with other cities already being discussed for future spin-offs. London has been mentioned and so has LA.

Bravo is thrilled because this show finally pulls in the younger audience they’ve been chasing — late teens/early 20s etc — and the cast feels fresh but still delivers the drama. Ariana is 100% the breakout star – think Stassi during early VPR, Paige during Summer House’s glow-up, Kathryn in early Southern Charm. Expect her to blow up fast.

Also Meredith is the “Lisa Vanderpump” or “Patricia Altschul” of the show. She films almost every episode and plays a huge role behind the scenes helping guide the younger cast as they navigate life (and drama) in NYC. She really ties everything together.
