Regarding Brandi’s claims that her attorneys dropped her case bc “they were paid off”. An attorney sent us this…
As someone who worked as a personal injury paralegal, she was dropped because she did not give them the full story, only bits and pieces. Had she given them the complete story, they would not have taken the case. This is common, especially when it is a pro bono attorney. They likely started to gather info and take depos then realized they could not win for whatever reason. The attorneys decided to cut their loses and drop her. Why would they continue to throw money into a case, they are going to lose? Another reason could have been because she was not listening to her attorneys so they could not adequately represent her. I can’t imagine the Morocco footage would’ve helped her or we would’ve seen that season. And she is always running her mouth about the case.
Pro bono attorneys have insurance for loses. They can file a claim but if an attorney continually takes cases they can’t win, they will have high premiums or become uninsurable.
This was a long winded way to say she isn’t that special, it was a business decision.
As an attorney, I can confirm. It’s normal for us to drop a case if more information comes to light that the case is a dud.
She and the other ladies have said repeatedly to show the footage. A producer admitted in court she did assault Caroline & Caroline said it brought up trauma from her youth but it wasn’t Brandi’s actions. I don’t think they could win because Bravo never made those claims against her.
*didnt assult her per court re irds
This is so wrong. Not pro bono.No insurance.
It a contingency fee. Typical for most personal injury cases. The attorney does not make money unless they make a recovery. They get a percentage. The attorney will only pursue cases they think will be successful.
I so want to watch that girls trip! 😭😭
Plus…as an attorney…you can’t just “drop” a client. You need another attorney to come in or get permission from the court to withdrawal
