He had been offered $850 million and ownership according to British press. He keeps making it very clear he will not leave the PGA. I think I have to believe him given all he has done in the past proving his loyalty to them. Plus, the possibility that there could be a potential merger between the two that would put him in a bad position and reputation wise.
He’s Irish/northern Irish. I think he has moral standards that preclude him from “joining” Saudi and LIV.
I think one’s a grumpy Irish dude (I’m also married to one) but I appreciate his principles in both golf and LIV
