You might have heard that Jen and Danielle got in a physical fight in Jersey at Teresa’s party – but we’ve got details on why it all went down. And the emails have been pouring in about Jersey – including one possible scenario that is not getting the best reactions from Cocktailers…Is Jenna Lyons coming back for season two of the RHONY Reboot? The Ubah vs. Erin fight – whose side are we on? Salt Lake City continues to bring it. Housewives in drag? Yes please. What’s up cocktail hours and Amanda? Hey, Hank Taylor’s IV it is like so full here in New York. Oh, that is nice. Loving it. Did you get you and you got a bunch of rain too, which I feel like always makes fall. Come on. Because it’s been. I can’t complain. Beautiful and sunny, warm for the last week and a half just every single day. Seattle here.
I’m in my basement. My husband has the heaviest foot. I mean, you would think he was a mammoth. It’s like, and then when he makes a phone call, he’s screaming. I know you guys can’t hear it. But I’m like, Can you shut up and like tippy toes? Like it’s a stamp I have to get it for I have to just get it on recording one day, why to take it on my phone? Why do men have to talk at like five levels of volume louder when they are on the phone? It does, especially business calls. But like any call, and he works from home. Listen, which has been so helpful, especially now with the podcasts and like all the stuff that we do now, in addition to everything else we always did in our real lives. But because he can pick the kids up and drop them off, but I don’t know maybe we can go to like a three day workweek in and out. Just
I’m happy it’s fall. I just I love my sweaters. I poured myself a glass of red wine. Is that funny how I do the same thing. I start wanting more red wine.
Around this time of year. I just had some dinner the other night and it was delicious. I don’t drink red wine before mid September. And I think I stopped like beginning of April. Like it just a switch goes on a switch goes Oh no. But then Prosecco was really seasonless. As far as I’m concerned. It’s it’s always there’s always times Yeah, but it’s fast by the pool. True. True.
Okay, so hot off the presses, you have some scoop that I don’t even know about. So I get this message today. And the source is really good and reliable. And I’ll just leave it there. So, as you know, Amanda since July, we’ve all been sort of watching and wondering and questioning what is going on in their marriage and whose marriage Kyler Murray sia Kyler Murray’s. Yeah, okay. I probably should have said that. Right since the July 3 And I remember I tell you guys I’ve told you this before because I was at a fourth of July barbecue and shit popped off and I was like in a corner like what’s going on? Is she with Morgan?
And are they working on their marriage? Well, this week, we saw Mauricio debut on Dancing with the Stars, Kyle was there, neither of them were wearing a ring, my source reached out to say, and this is where we’re gonna need your feedback. They’re definitely not getting divorced, they’re looking at buying another house in Malibu. So the person said, no chance they’d be doing that, if they were separating, this person said, this will all play out on the tail end of Beverly Hills, which is kind of what we know, right. But it’s gonna play out even more on buying Beverly Hills. The person said, they do believe there was some sort of plan in place, but he wasn’t in on it. So they didn’t expand on that. I take that to me. And like a media push plan or a ratings push plan. I don’t know. I do believe they legitimately had some bumps in the road. But this person says no, divorce is imminent. So this is where I come to you, Amanda, and I say what you have been saying all along, about how you always felt that they wouldn’t legally divorce that they would remain a family unit. But maybe, as a couple things would look different in their personal life. It would I mean, buying a house in Malibu could be for one of them to live in.
You know, so my thought has always been like, there’s so much money tied up and there would be no easy way for him to pull out the equity that he would need to from the company to pay her. So I don’t know, I think it could be money based. But also, I think also people once they’ve had families, once they get to a certain age don’t feel the need to get married again. And so maybe they’re like, you know, we can do our own thing. We can have our own people. But we’re not going to actually divorce because if I do believe that they said in their Instagram on Fourth of July weekend that they were separating, it never said the word divorce. Right? No, it never said the word divorce. You know, the other thing which I don’t think we’ve mentioned on the pod, there’s some big lawsuit looming. I’ve seen it on social media, he’s being sued. Some real estate deal. I didn’t whip out my law degree look into it. But
it could also be a distraction from the I don’t know something about this seems pointed, right? So the not wearing the rings, the announcing it and then being an aspen together this summer. But yet her traveling all over with Morgan Wade, the music video, but she’s producing directing her life story. It’s just there’s just a lot of layers. And then like, he’s on Dancing with the Stars. I mean, Mauricio always in like looking at it. Now you can see like, he only he never minded the camera. And then of course, he did his own reality show.
And now the Dancing with the Stars, I guess they’re kind of like, well, I mean, you can’t get much more public than we already are. So let’s monetize it as much as we can. Which makes sense. And for their daughters. It makes sense, since they’re in the biz, the real estate business to I don’t know, I think
this person told me there’s like no divorce. And apparently we’ll see some stuffs, are we going to see them working on their issues? I don’t know. I mean, no, listen, if there’s no divorce, then there’s never going to be like, there isn’t a world in which they come out and admit like, yeah, we’re just like remaining a family unit. And I stay in Malibu and she stays in the middle of Calabasas or somewhere in the valley. And I post pictures with Morgan Wade on my lap.
This week, there was just one and it’s I just have been wondering, are we being trolled to some degree? Yeah. Is it meant to be foggy? Is it as is it just a foggy situation?
Which is quite possible?
Who knows what’s possible? Who knows? But in my mind, if this were if my theory is correct, and this is their situation, that they have decided, I feel like they’re like, Yeah, I would never marry somebody else again. But then one of them meet somebody that they do want to marry. And then it’s like, how does that work? Like I just, I can I kind of feel like, if I’m right, I think in a different way. We have seen this with Dolores and Frank. Right? Yeah. Because prior to her coming on the show, she did have a fiance because I clearly remember her first season as a full time housewife her telling Ziggy and Jacqueline. You know, I was engaged. She had moved out of the house. Remember because her first season she moved in she redid the kitchen. Yeah. And then when she got together with Dr. David, I think that
Frank loved it so much because it settled into where Dr. David was available enough for Dolores that Frank could have his girlfriend and go on dates on the weekend. And Dolores could have Dr. David, but then David wasn’t around that much. So Frank could be her plus one for things. Sunday dinners were intact. He became very good friends with David. So we’re seeing and I think that they both thought, like, I think there was a point where Dolores was like, This is enough for me, you know. And then when she decided it wasn’t, and she broke up with David, and she met Paul, and she had a more full relationship with Polly. We saw her kind of be like, no, like, tough shit, Frank, like, you’re the one who left me years ago. And yeah, we were able to work it out all these years, and you were still like a primary man in my life. But now we’re co parents again. And now where you’re not my plus one. I don’t need you. And it is inappropriate. Right. So that could certainly happen if that’s the route that Kyle and Mauricia what? Yeah, and I think it would be Kyle, because I feel like the way that you see with Frank that obviously, he’s a horned dog, he says it himself, right. Like he can’t be monogamous, which kind of makes me feel bad for his current girlfriend, but, but like, he loves Dolores and Dolores is like, his life partner. Not in a sexual way. Right. So I feel like I can see that with Mauricio, you know, where like, Kyle is his life partner. And so it would be her who met somebody and kind of shut him out of parts of her life. Yeah, I guess we’ll see. It’ll be if this is all some kind of elaborate play to get us to watch Beverly Hills. I’m just hoping it’s not that. I don’t believe that. Yeah, I believe that. But this source is like they’re together. They’re working it out. We’re gonna see it. So I guess like, watch what happens. Watch what we see. Yeah. Okay, so back to Jersey, because we were just talking about the Loris. There was some has been a lot of stuff floating around. I’ll let you kind of share what we want to share here because I know we’ve shared a lot of stuff on cocktail party, but some stuff has been going on. Behind the scenes. We’ll know in front of the cameras. We just haven’t seen it yet on Jersey while they’re filming. So, last Thursday evening. Teresa had a party tipsy in Tulum. They were all there with the exception of Melissa to loom. Yeah, Tipsy into Lou. Yeah. Okay. Did I say to them through Mike what’s to them? I was like, oh, to loom to loom Got it? Got it. Sorry.
Ignore me because, you know, we weird I have a hard time with work. I just was like, What are your like, oh, cuz in my head, I could see the pictures. I’m like, oh, Tolu got it. Okay. So there they are. Teresa’s party. Most of them were there. Melissa wasn’t there. Melissa was at her cousin got married. They filmed that because Marge was there and Dolores was there. I think everybody else was there at Teresa’s party. may actually I don’t think the food is where they are. Because there’s a lot of beef between Theresa Louis and the food is in any event. I wake up the next morning and I have a message sharing with me and this was not at all public that at the party, Jen and Danielle got into it. Jen accused Danielle of not giving all of the money that she raised at various charity events to the charity. They were also fighting over a hairdresser that they share. Jen was in her face, Jen. Then I guess Danielle was in her face. Jen pushed in yell. And then Danielle hit her in the face with a cup which we later found out was a plastic cup but regardless hit her in the face. Someone said that Jen swung it in yell. I’m not exactly sure I know that it got physical and it mutually got physical because they were both suspended for at least a few days while Bravo quote unquote investigated. This comes right after ABC universal had announced stricter rules for reality shows. I believe it’s in an effort to do something to address the whole Bethenny reality reckoning claims. This suspension was short lived after a few days both the women were back to filming in regards to Bethany, I have heard from a variety of sources that there are plenty of former Bravo people talking to Bethany

in a surprise to nobody. They’re all disgruntled. They’re they’re housewives who weren’t asked back. I heard and again, this is just what I heard. I heard maybe Leah McSweeney. I heard maybe ebony I heard some like way back when, you know names. So I think the suspension was for optics to be cool.
Right, Frank because they filmed Jackie’s booksigning Jen was there last night they filmed we’re filming on a Thursday last night was Wednesday they filmed the Bougie kids launch party, which doesn’t even make sense. The brand is already launched, but whatever. So Are ya? Agenda not go to Danielle’s? No, everybody else did even Teresa and Gia and yeah, yeah, sounds like a little bit of a face job to me from NBC or Bravo or whoever it is the production company whoever is making these decisions, because it’s the production company who’s really involved in the day to day decisions but I think you know, when there’s a fight or something like that, then Bravo does get Bravo and NBC get called but right I gotta tell you Well, first of all, if if what Jenna’s saying true is is true, that’s terrible, but if it is not true, that is a messed up thing to accuse somebody of doing
I don’t know. I’m just really hoping we can get away with from the fighting I just hate the physical fighting. Nobody likes it. Every all the comments we see on the blog and then on Discord for our members on our cocktail or discord. Nobody likes it. Everyone’s like staff was fighting enough. I don’t know. I hope it’s I’m just hoping we’re not in for another season like that. I like a little bit more fun. Like we’ve been having on New York like we’ve been having on Salt Lake City. Agreed. Well, we saw Jackie’s new book, The weight of beautiful came out this week. Tons of press. I mean, she got tons of press. She was on Watch What Happens Live. I thought it was very interesting. She said one of the questions was Who do you like the least? And she said her and Marge are going through something. In another interview. I think it was with Us Weekly. Marge echoed this, although she did compliment her on her book. It’s interesting. And I’m curious, is there more to this Marge and Jackie feud than Jackie being neutral and wanting more screen time. And as a result, cultivating this friendship with Teresa and Jen followers who were in New Jersey at the book signing said Teresa stayed the entire time. And that Melissa who by the way, her envy bowtique is a couple blocks from the bookstore, popped in for 10 minutes. Jackie also jokingly addressed Melissa’s comment, which went over all over social media that Melissa loves Jackie, but Jackie just wants to be invited to every party.
I think it’s clear that there is a shift. Here’s my thought and this is just what I came up with. Okay. I think that when Jackie became a friend of and this is this is true for every housewife, they all want to be full time. They all want more camera time. So I think the most plausible thing is there wasn’t like some it thing that Jackie found out. I just think that maybe she felt shut out by Margaret and Melissa probably. And she wanted to still be involved with her book coming out. She certainly wanted publicity for that. She wanted a bigger role. And so Teresa was her way in. You know, at the beginning, there was a question of at the beginning of filming, like we were hearing would Jackie even be a friend of but I think when she made the decision and probably spoke to production about her willingness to be neutral, and bridge the gap, right. So her book signing could be a place everybody would go to as it was. I just think that maybe March was making Jackie feel left out. Does that make sense? And so Jackie was like, oh, yeah, Fu and she climbed away into a storyline and kudos to her because any one of them would have done the same. Yes. And I’m looking at our notes because I think you actually have this down here. But it’s making me think about an email we just got I think just today Jackie also said on that watch what happened. So we’ll go through that email a second. But she also said on Watch What Happens Live that the season is not about Teresa and Melissa, thank God. Everyone knows they hate each other and that there are storylines that have nothing to do with them. Which is interesting, because here’s this email subject new formula. Bravo is considering a brand new formula for the upcoming season of Real Housewives in New Jersey. So far, the groups are very much divided. Teresa, Jennifer, Jen and Jackie have all become buddies and are hanging out a lot. There’s some issue between Fesler and Jackie with Margaret. The other group is and remember, this is me just setting in the side Fessler and march work at Fred’s interesting. The other group is Marge, Melissa, Danielle and Rachel. Dolores is the only housewife that is floating between both groups who will not get together with each other the production
along with the network are contemplating having to friend groups with two central storylines coexisting with in the next season, adding three new bees will help this dynamic. So there can be drama and resolution between both groups. This means a reunion could be incredibly different. With both groups filming separately, it’s looking very unlikely that the divide will heal, and the groups will join together for a proper season. There will likely be two separate domestic cast trips also. So we received this and the feedback from everyone who read the post was like what the AF, this isn’t cool. And then at Danielle’s party, everybody, but Jen showed up now, because again, I also posted today, I love I love my followers because they go and they write me. We posted today at Danielle booties, kids party, they were all there, including the new ladies except Jen Aidan, Melissa and Teresa didn’t interact. It was a very calm event. Everyone well behaved probably because of the kids and also there was just a physical altercation and they’re probably on their best behavior. Gia was there Melania was there but none of the Judy Chaze interacted with Melissa.

our blog. Yes, yes, we know that this email we got I want to say what was it? This one compromised? Yeah. The one I just read was today but then we also got the one about them having more full time housewives. So that one says housewives first Jersey will have nine full time housewives this upcoming season. All of the ladies are bringing it production thinks they can pull it off. It’s the seven full time from last season plus Jackie is promoted. The ninth spot is going to Fesler or newbie Tiffany. Kayla is a friend of Kayla is the one who owns eat clean, bro. Here’s what I’m gonna say. I don’t necessarily think that they’re officially full time. They don’t have the budget for that. I think that reads to me. I know that Tiffany is I’ve heard I don’t know, because I’m not there. But I’ve heard that Tiffany is they’re getting good stuff from her. They’re getting great stuff from Jackie. And Jackie’s event had everybody there. So I think that will definitely see it’ll feel like more full time women right. I don’t know if they’ll officially be full time. I think that the fight and the suspension, I would think that they all kind of got to talking to and they were like listen, everybody better show up to Danielle’s bougie kids thing because so far, we’ve had nothing everybody’s going to Jackie’s everybody’s going to bougie kids. And then obviously Jen and Danielle they let skip like Jen had to do Jackie’s and then Danielle had to do. I mean, but Jen didn’t have to go to Danielle’s right because they just had the physical altercation. I also think and again, this is from an email, but also it makes sense. I think that they’re going to meet Jen and Danielle resolve it on camera because you can’t have this physical violence and then it lingering like they’re going to be like numb
Were one if you talk to each other again, or if it gets like that, again, you’re both off because what everyone was saying from last year, and it was directed at Teresa and Melissa, was there six, sick of the toxicity? Yes, there’s a lot to be conflict. So now Teresa and Melissa just aren’t speaking. But we have Jen and Danielle hitting each other. You know, people don’t tune in to watch that. No. So I honestly think jersey is a mess right now.
I mean, Danielle was posting like live footage of the party, which is another. I’m just saying as a network, why are we allowing that because like, I’m seeing in the background that I’m seeing Melissa just standing there looking board with Rachel and it just feels very forced. And we get it. We know that in many cities, the ladies aren’t best friends and whatever, but like to literally in real time, watch it feel forced is weird. Another thing we need to see them having fun and enjoying themselves. And we did not see that on the season last year on New Jersey. And it’s got to be in my mind, more good times than bad or else it just feels like a downer. And it’s not it’s not fun to watch anymore. Totally random. But did you watch Mob Wives back in the day? I had seen some of it. Yes, I had seen some of it. So it was set in Staten Island, which is where Danielle’s from drita from Mob Wives was at the Bougie kids party. Also Tracy I can’t think of her last DeMarco, who was on that jersey. It was like a jersey hair salon show Jerseylicious I loved that show that show I completely was totally into. I just find it so funny because everyone like Danielle has been very transparent about her always wanting to be on reality. So she’s like friends with Jay Wow, who I didn’t see there. But she’s friends with Mob Wives. She’s friends with Jerseylicious. Like she literally befriended every local reality star. In any event drita his daughters were hanging out with Melania at the Bougie kids party, too funny.
And I just hate the name bougie kids and so many followers were like why? One follow wrote bougie kids, Ratchet parents.
I mean, if you’re gonna, you’re gonna have a relaunch party, which is what I think that party was like one perfect chance to change the name, just saying. So it just feels disjointed. And I’m going to tell you like, what about it is just jointed. There’s a world where like Jen, Aiden, Theresa and Danielle can kind of vibe, right? Jen Fesler. In real life. I know. She’s real life friends with Ziggy. And she was friends with Margaret, that makes more sense, not just because of their age, which is part of it. But part of it is because they’re legitimately upper middle class women in Jersey who have second homes and whose kids go to like, you know, expensive private colleges and all that kind of vibe, right? And then you have Danielle, who has like young kids, and they’re integrating her friends who do seem to have more money than she has. But it just they’re from another part of New Jersey, which it’s like anything else. It’s California, which I’m not at all familiar with. But like if you’re from Hollywood, is totally different than if you’re from San Francisco. Right? Yeah. Like being from central New Jersey and being from Bergen County are totally different. Right? And it makes sense that it feels like two separate casts because they’ve cast to separate groups of women. And you have like Melissa and Teresa who can sort of go between, but I don’t know. When Dolores I don’t know it’s disjointed. At a minimum. And I just don’t know where they go from here. Do they go with the new crew, the younger girls, the newer girls and scrapped. Everybody else? I don’t see them scrapping Teresa, I don’t know. Why are we not ever talking about the fact that Danielle lives on Staten Island, which last time I checked is in New York. No, she doesn’t. She grew up on Staten Island. She lives in like central New Jersey in a much more middle class area, which is totally fine, but it’s not the same. It’s like two hours from where they live. Oh, wow.
Yeah, it’s odd. Okay, well, let’s move on to New York. We got an email from a source. So let me share this. From Real Housewives of New York team.
Real Housewives in New York won’t start filming until the new year since they want the spring vibes in New York City to be filmed. All ladies will be asked back but at least one to two newbies will be added a friend of and full time. They definitely want them to be a close friend of
Someone already on the cast and are looking for a woman closer to Jenna’s age. Someone’s the connection to Broadway or old New York money as a possibility to the show will only get better from here on. So what’s interesting is Janet isn’t on the roster for Bravo con. She also hasn’t been a guest on Watch What Happens Live, which the season is still filming. So it’s possible that she just hasn’t yet. It could be that, you know, she’s Jennifer can Lyons and she’s not interested in the add ons like Bravo con and watch what happens live.
But,
you know, I don’t know, does she come back? Like, is it not for her, we saw her put we think she’s engaged.
She posted that picture in Paris with the woman and she had the big ring on her hand, and she’s not engaged. She’s definitely in a relationship. Interestingly, somebody shared with me that her girlfriend or fiance, whichever it is, was married for many years. Never want to say since like college, so like a long time, has two teenagers with a woman who she’s been estranged from since last August. And I saw the woman’s Insta. And it looks like her axe is also in a new relationship. But we saw Jenna’s relationship sort of dictate her at the beginning of this season. And then she loosened up once they were broken up. But we know that she does hesitate to show her relationship. So maybe she won’t come back. She doesn’t need it need it. Right. So maybe she doesn’t come back if she’s really with this woman engaged like something serious, you know? Well, I think Jenna Lyons is super smart, right? And she said, the reason she came on the show is to in a big part to promote her new company. So it seems like maybe maybe the usefulness of the show will have outlived itself. Or maybe she’s like, I don’t want to put myself out there. I sign up for more than I thought I don’t want to do it anymore. I mean, it could be a it could be a bunch of different reasons. But I feel like I wouldn’t be that surprised if she ends up not coming back.
Yeah, I wouldn’t be that so I’d be disappointed. Yeah. And I also heard through the grapevine that when they were watching, like, Listen, I’ve never worked in the biz, guys. But like when they when they started editing the episodes, and they were watching, they were kind of like, unsure how the audience would take to her. But I feel like the audience took to her exactly as intended. Like she’s quirky. She’s a little eccentric. She doesn’t exactly fit in, but we enjoy watching her and she’s able to mash. So listen, they’re all being asked back. She’s the only one that I could see being like, Ah, I don’t know. You know, I think sighs got the most approve. Yeah, I would agree with that. We’re,
after watching the last show. We’ve now been seeing this whole fight with Ooba and Aaron, over a couple of episodes like where do you stand on that whole fight? I thought the ladies had good points about Erin, who you know, I very much enjoy. She does stir it up. She is you know, the one gossiping, but we have to have something to watch. Right? So for me, it’s hard to say if this is who she truly is in real life, or if she’s trying to make a good show her and Jessel to me bring it in different ways, but they both bring it right. They’re showing their lives. They’re getting into conversations that maybe people don’t want to have. They’re confronting things. Bryn is fun. She doesn’t really add the drama She’s a true Sonia and I listened to her on Lala is pied. She’s so smart and even watching her and watch what happens live Brynn is a sharp cookie. Yeah, much like real life Sonia, which you guys know I’ve told the story a million times I met her and in person. She’s very sharp, very with it very witty. And the Sonia Rita that we see is a little bit put on like she does have that flirty friendly way about her of course. But she’s a lot more savvy than she shows. And I think Brian’s the same way. I think Uber overreacted. I mean, listen, it gave us something but I think she was sort of looking for a moment if I’m being honest.

So I felt like the whole thing from Aaron. It was a weird prank. I just thought it was weird. And I think she could have just come out here but also legitimately lost her phone now. Yes, they’re filming the show. So probably production would have grabbed it and gave it to her. But if it was real life and me and you were coming back from dinner, and I just hopped out and you didn’t grab it. I would have lost my phone. Yeah, like how bad could you be right? I don’t know. Just to me. I’m like, I think I love a prank. Love a prank. That just didn’t feel like that funny to me. What I would have done maybe with a phone is gone and taken pictures with it and like done something like that because you know, even if it’s got to
Like, you can always still take pictures, who would have done something like that, and then given her her phone back, right, like something that’s kind of funny. And you know, maybe it’s a picture of somebody’s, you know,
somebody’s blood or whatever I used to love to do. This is so stupid and random, but I just remembered and any of my real life friends live listening will know this to be true. When we would be like, at the bar, like, you know, when we were younger, whatever, when MySpace or Facebook, like were a thing, I would take my friend’s phone and write like, I sweat bee bees the best.
He’s the funniest friend I have, like, stupid as like status updates, and like, we’d be out and whatever. And the next day they’d wake up and see their status was that or like, back when I was a teenager? Do you remember AOL away messages? Like I would prank my foot? Or I’d write something like, stupid like I am. I don’t know, like, something stupid. I can’t think of it like, whatever as their status and then they wouldn’t know like, so. Yeah, something like that would be funny is funny. I think Ooba way over reacted. I think her ripping the sunglasses off of Aaron’s had was way too close to a violent action, don’t like it. And then Ooba just feels to me like one of those people. If you ever get in a fight with her, like, she just seems to care about winning, and that she was so righteous. And so only about her. It just really, it really turned me off on her. i Okay, I can see that. But I also think that Aaron is very good at starting shit and very easily into the victim role, right? So she like took Ubers overreaction and almost like you almost saw her physically, like turn her shoulders in and become like Poor me. So Aaron did okay. I think even when Uber was being a total snot most of the day, right? And I would have been like, this is so shitty like I was with Jenna on this one. I’m like, Uber needs to calm down because Ooba was trying to get everybody else to get mad at Aaron. And I agree. Like I think Aaron takes it too far. She does start it up. But where it really got crazy for me it was when they’re all in the hot tub. And they were all just Yes. One on one. Just piling on on her. And I couldn’t even imagine how terrible how terrible that would feel after a whole day of being ostracized and glared at and everything on vacation like, no. I think that when Aaron accused Jessel Well, I have a kind of a okay. So when Aaron accuse Jessel of being like taken care of by her parents, I don’t personally think she necessarily meant financially. I think that Aaron was raised. Forget about privilege because Aaron was raised, obviously with some money, right. I think she was raised, although her parents were divorced. Her parents were very devoted to her. We saw her call her father when she had the fight with Uber. And she’s very connected to her parents. And I know as somebody who was fortunate enough to grow up with parents who were very loving and very coddled me, right, like if I was in a fight as an adult, and I called my mom who’s no longer with us. But when she was invented, like, I think what Aaron meant by that was like, and it’s true. I mean, we saw Jessica’s mother there helping around. And obviously, she’s very supported by her family by her parents. I don’t think Aaron meant financially. And I think that Aaron was almost like trying to pull Jessel to that side, because she sees Bryn with a very sympathetic growing up story side story was heartbreaking about her mom, and it kind of shows why she’s guarded, right? Because she had to be because when you grow up with a parent who’s an addict and who’s so unstable, and how, sadly her mother passed away, it can make you hard, right? It can make you kind of closed off, and not as vulnerable. And Jenna had the mother who she said was had no emotion and almost I think she referred to it as some sort of, like a disability where she wasn’t able to show emotion. So she was kind of saying to Jessica, like you grew up like me in that our parents, like Jessica said, my parents paid for my college. Okay, well, that’s the perfect example of what Aaron meant.
So I think in a way it hasn’t been said, but I think Aaron has this feeling that like the girls all feel that way about her. And she has that in her home with her husband, APE who’s such a support to her. Right, like some also has that with Parvat. So like, you know what I’m saying? I think that Aaron was trying to relate to Jessel in that way. And of course, I had that with her husband as well, but she didn’t grow up with that. So I just thought it was interesting that Jessel pushed back on that. I don’t know if she missed the point of it or
If she wants to, like what Aaron said was kind of like have this narrative that she climbed her way up, because there’s a difference between climbing your way up and making it financially and not having the emotional support. Right. So like if you grow up, let’s say, Teresa, Judy, che as an example, she grew up very, very middle class, whatever worked in class, but she, like her parents loved her and supported her and cheered her on. It doesn’t. It’s not always about money. Right? You know, kids don’t necessarily need to be raised. Don’t need excuse me, not necessarily. Kids do not need to be raised with wealth to be successful. Yeah. All kids need is parents who believe in them, and whatever success looks like for them, right? Yeah. So I don’t know. When you put women together who as we’re learning, don’t know each other that well, I think there was a moment where Aaron sat there and she was kind of like, okay, wait, but I’m not the only one whose parents like were always there like Jessel your parents were the same way and just was like No, they weren’t.
Yeah, I think Jessel was also just half in the tank that whole last day of that trip.

Like sit down little girl like she disregards her in a way that is so effortless and so rude but it’s hard not to laugh. I loved with her that Whitney took little girl and kind of turn it on its head and me

But what they decided to do was because they were staying at Trixie Mattel’s resorts, they decided to do a drag competition where they each I thought they would get help that they each have their own makeup. And then Lisa, of course, so they all do their own like their own drag thing. Whitney, Angie Monica, Heather, I would say really kind of understood the assignment and jumped into it, which I think is so fun. Like, think of it is a Halloween costume. Like, I would like to see what I look like and drag, I think it would be so fun. What do we think about that? What do we think about Lisa freaking out and saying she has her own glam and will not do it and that she wants to look like her? I think it’s like, you know, on brand. I think she’s very unreasonable. I think she is lives in her own little world. Yeah. And I don’t mean to generalize, but I’m thinking out loud, because you and I both have a son and a daughter. I do wonder when you live in a home, right? And you have a husband and boys does that sort of. And I’m trying to think of my friends with just boys. And I can’t think of anyone that fell into that. But like, does that almost make you unreasonable in LA? Because you’re so used to it only? Like you’re the only girl? I’m just I don’t know. I just think she’s, I think it usually goes the other way. Right? Like they right? You’re less high maintenance? Well, just because they don’t have a choice, right? Because that’s yeah, unless you live with my husband who takes longer to get ready than I do. So you know what? I got myself and both my kids ready. And he’s still looking in the mirror. So you know what? I mean? I understand if you’re like you don’t want, but I don’t get it. I think she she was being nuts to me. I’ll predict that by next season, we’re going to see a little facelift action. I think she looks absolutely gorgeous. I am not saying she needs one. By any stretch. There are a couple of bad angles on her. Yeah, in the show, if you note and we just know from the way other housewives get work done that I just predict that will happen. Yeah, there was one specifically I was like, Ooh, which by the way I get if I were on camera, like you ever catch your reflection, because when we look when we’re doing our makeup, or we’re looking at ourselves straight on, we all make like pretty faces, right? Yeah, I catch myself sometimes I’m like, Oh, brother, I look like that. And so as I get older, I’m sure if I were on television, I would definitely be like, Okay, it’s time, right? It’s like that meme that went around, or it’s like, I can’t believe people have to look at my profile all the time because Oh, I hate my Do you hate your profile? need it? absolutely hate it. Wait, when I was. So I love I love my injector. And I was always like, whenever I look at my profile, I feel like I have a weak chin. And one day she’s like, be like, What do you want? Like, do you want your noc? Do you want to look like Jay Leno? What is the story? And like that kind of zapped me back to reality. But in my head. It just looks that way. No, it doesn’t look like Jay Leno. It looks like I need more chin. And she’s like, No, I was like Jay Leno if you hadn’t where chin? This is just what profiles look like. I’m like, But like other people’s look fine to me. It’s just my own. I don’t like Right, exactly. Anyway, no, I would not. I could not. I cannot watch myself on TV. No, no, that’s worse. It’s like I don’t like seeing myself in picture. I don’t like any of it. How long did it take you to get used to hearing yourself? Because in the early days, Amanda and I edited ourselves, so we’d always have to listen back. And it was like, I mean, I found myself like physically tightening up listening to my own voice. Yes. It was like back in the day where you would hear your own voice on the on a like answering machine and be like, Oh,
do you It took me a while that hear their own voices and are like, Oh, I have such a nice voice. Somebody right? away. Yeah, exactly. If you’re Lisa Barlow don’t because we already know that about you know, I don’t know. I mean, I would say it’s taken about a year to for me to like mentally get myself used to like listening back and because we still have to check and make sure everything sounds right. And you know that our ads go out right? So we definitely listen so I’ve become more at peace with it. I might say I never am like, I never I’m gonna be one of the people who like I love the sound of my voice. Oh, no. Well, first of all, I convinced myself that I don’t sound the same in real life. And I’m like, oh, no, that’s like my podcast voice like this is what I say in my own head and one day because did you ever have it on your phone and then it automatically picks up in the car. So I was dropping my son and my nephew off at whatever basketball practice whatever it is, and it just came on and
My nephew’s like, oh my god, I never listened to your podcast. I’m like, How did you know it was mine? He’s like, auntie, it’s your voice. I’m like, No, I sound so much different on the pod. And he’s like,
No, you sound the exact same. I’m like, no, no, I have a different podcast place. And he was just looking at me like, I was absolutely psychotic. Which I guess I was to him, because apparently I sound that way. That is too funny. I always feel like I sound slower than I talk in real life. And I think that’s because I just am so used to being taught to slow it down when I’m like presenting and doing all you know, all the training that I’ve had just throughout my career. So I always listen when I do listen on like, 1.25 or 1.5 speed, because I just feel like I sound like I talk so Oh, my God, I must sound so fast. Because I feel like I talk so fast. I might sound like this. I might sound like I’m talking too fast.
Anyway, here we are behind the scenes. Guys. I had a question for you about this whole fight that happens at the bar after the drag contest. Why does Monica say that? Angie? Is Lisa’s laptop? I don’t get it. Like it doesn’t feel like Angie was like overly on Lisa site on everything.
I don’t get it. I think it’s kind of silly that they presented Monica as Angie’s friends because it couldn’t be further from the truth. I think she’s the last Monica very clearly wants to be in with the more established women because she wants to be on the show. And I think at this point, Angie wasn’t even full time. Right. And you know, I have to say, I’m not a huge fan of Angie. But I think some of the feedback on social media calling her a flop and all this is a little unfair. I don’t think she’s as bad as people are saying, I think I think the cast is great. I mean, there’s a difference between not liking somebody and not picking they’re good on a show. I don’t necessarily know if I’d want to hang with her. But I think she’s good. I think she’s getting the job done. I don’t know what all the backlash is about. She’s not afraid of conflict. She’ll bring stuff up. Right. She doesn’t back down. I don’t see her as leases, leases lap dog. I think maybe they have their allies a little bit, but I don’t think that makes her her lap dog. No more so than Meredith is Mary’s laptop. I mean, what’s bad about? And who is this child? Meredith keeps that what I know. I mean, God forbid any child should be sick or hurt or whatever. But like, who are we talking about? There’s no point of reference. It doesn’t make any sense. It’s bizarre. Meredith is bizarre. Yeah, she should, especially when she drinks on whatever water pill. We’re gonna go with a water pill like Sonia Morgan did.
There is some interaction happening. Yeah, yeah. Or she’s just drinking way too much and physically handle herself better. Like a lot of times when people drink a lot. They don’t eat enough. So that could be the case. I don’t know. But there’s something going on there. Yeah, I agree with you. My favorite though. Is Mary, ordering enough food for six people for McDonald’s. To enter by yourself. I feel like Mary doesn’t eat a lot. That’s what it was. So she’s like, I want a fish sandwich. I want nuggets. I forgot what else she said that she wanted. And I’m like, you’re getting all that. And James, naturally thin people, like people who are always thin. I feel like gray that she probably had a bite of everything. Yeah, I agree. Or she’s blessed. I mean, she is Jesus’s favorite. Isn’t. Didn’t she say that? Oh, I think that’s I don’t know, I’m enjoying Salt Lake City. I think it’s been fun. I first of all, I’m loving just the backdrop of that hope that motel like the rooms like it is so cool. They should stay there. I want to stay there. And it’s in such stark contrast because all of their homes are like very Kim Kardashian. Like, like that, like barren. Like there’s no warmth to their homes. Well, Heather’s has some color. But like I feel like Lisa and Meredith have very like modern right sterile modern modern kind of look. I totally agree Darrow looking which is not my vibe at all. Yeah, I like a little bit color. Colorful. Like when I redid my kitchen. I share like, you know, I get like swag from people and I share and people always like I love your backsplash. I love your counter. Like I like color. Yeah. And I get it because in a house you have to commit to it. But I’d rather commit to something than be blah. And I have a hot pink rug in my living room and I love it. You sent me a picture of something and I meant to tell you I love that rug. Where did you get that rug? I got it. It’s I don’t know how I’m saying this right? He seems very different than your typical Charlson. Peter Pan, though, was two rods. Right? So rodrigo Rodrigo is gay. He’s been with his boyfriend for nine years. And Rod is the guy who wanted to date with Olivia. He’s very smitten with her. I love in the preview. Because guys, again, we record on Thursday. So we haven’t seen tonight’s episode. So we see like, Rod go out for a drink with Austin. He’s like, listen, I just want to let you know I took because I don’t think him and Austin are like besties. But you know, he gave him the courtesy. He’s like, I went on a date with Olivia. I like her. I’m gonna be seeing her again. And Austin was like, so you can ask her out again. Okay.

And like, sit down Austin, especially? No, non buddy. Another clip we see is Olivia basically confronts Taylor. She’s like, why is chape coming to me? And wondering what’s going on with you and Austin? Like, is something going on with you in Austin? And Taylor’s like, well, after the reunion, which sidenote, Amanda I’m pretty sure. Or Intel told us that they hooked up after the reunion, like in New York, Taylor and Austin, or Taylor and Chuck, Taylor and Austin, okay, or like sometime around there, which is right after Olivia and him like cool things off. It’s so fucked up. And she says to Taylor, excuse me, Taylor says to Olivia, well, I’m the one who said to Austin, because now in this small clip, we didn’t see her admit that they made out yet. So I don’t know if she admitted it. But she admits that she said to Austin, like we’re so close, we’re such good friends. Is this something we should pursue? And like, what? Yeah, I think Taylor’s just kind of I don’t know why I keep standing up for her. I just feel like she’s kind of a lost soul. I don’t think it’s cool that she hooked up with him knowing that, you know, she also called Olivia sister. I think that’s totally messed up. But it just seems like Taylor is just spinning her trying to give the presentation about that liquor brand, to leva I was like, oh, girlfriend, like, work on that a little bit?
Yeah, I mean, I felt for her there. I think that I will admit, I judge a little bit. Taylor being like, and I gave my job up, because she asked me and I don’t know if that’s fair, because they were together a couple of years. And I don’t know, I don’t think it’s fair for me to judge her. She took a shot. She, you know, is now trying a new career. And I did see that she did send day Chaser to our boy, Larry and some other accounts. So she’s still working with them. I wish I wish her much luck and success.

I think it’s only getting better. We haven’t even and you know, I did hear they go hard on Taylor, which we’ll have to watch and say because she does deserve some heat. Sorry. Yeah. Oh, for sure. Now, sorry. I agree. Just because I think that she is lost in spinning. It’s the way I feel about Britney, Britney Spears, right? Like, literally spinning on her Instagram posts. Yeah. I mean, that’s partly what makes the show so good is that it’s just such a small little community and that they all are really truly friends and hang out and you know, that it’s the smallness? It’s just like, Vanderpump right, like the smallness of the group is partly what makes the show so interesting. Yes, I agree. So there’s a lot happening, guys.
