The Atlanta cast is finally set. Why is Sheree out? And yet again, all roads lead to Bravo as we tie a Housewife to the Drake/Kendrick Lamar battle. Kim Z is clickbaiting again. We’ve got some insider tea on the new “Making it in Manhattan” show. Carl and Lindsay – luggagegate and whose side we’re on. Kyle’s fight with Ciara and Paige – we have slightly differing opinions on the situation but both agree he’s acting like a man baby about it. We have an update on the Naomie Olindo (formerly of Southern Charm) lawsuit – it’s still not over, and it’s not looking great for Naomie. B’s got some insider info on Austen and Craig’s spat.

The world’s longest move. I’m doing well. Hoping that in the next three or four days. Hopefully by the end of Memorial Day weekend, we will be mostly settled in the new house. So it’s going it’s going great. And what are you up to for Memorial Day weekend this weekend? Oh, sports tournaments. Oh, no, that’s playing. I feel like for us Memorial Day and Labor Day are two weekends that we never had tournaments on. I don’t know why we have it. But you guys know, when you’re on a travel team, like you have to go with it. And are the team like, is really cool. And we’re like all friends. You know how it is? Because we’re together a lot. Yeah. So it’ll be fun. Like, I’m not looking forward to Friday afternoon sitting in traffic going to Pennsylvania. But my cousin shout out to my cousin lives near where the tournament is she married somebody who’s from there. So I’m gonna get to they do a memorial day barbecue. So that’ll be fun. So I’ll get to see my cousin and her kids and our husband and like that, you know, other cousins and family are coming. So it’ll be fun. It’ll be good. I saw you at your pool going. I have my pool going. My kids jumped in there. out of their minds. I mean, it was hot out but the pool? I don’t know, the pool said it was up to 75. But you know, I don’t go in the pool until it’s like 8475 is hold. Right? Yeah. Yeah, I don’t get in it unless it’s like 85. Two. And then was is that? Like, we’re not going to put the heater on? Because then like, we’re in that stretch of weather. We’re like, it’s gonna be hot. And then you could wake up in at 60. Yeah. So it’s a waste of energy. Yeah, I hear you.
Okay, I am trying to figure out where we should start. Let’s search on Atlanta, because I know we wanted to talk a little bit about it last week. And then we just didn’t get a chance. So let’s see here. So, you know, we have mentioned and you guys have seen on cocktail party, but also on the regular website that we have been getting lots of anonymous emails with all different kinds of names being floated as far as possible cast goes. So finally we have a cast like It’s like Bravo decided to just go because they announced that they announced Beverly Hills today announce who else did they announce? Anyway, we got Kenya Porsche. We’ve got Cynthia Bailey, who will be a friend. We’ve got Porsches, friendship Ambia, who we have watched her before. Drew SIdora is back without her ex Ralph. Thank God. And then we’ve got a few newbies. We’ve got Kelly Pharrell, Angela Oakley and Brittany, Ed. Jaime, and the first thing I want to discuss is sure a tapping there. Yeah. So what I hear and this is exclusive, I haven’t even posted about it. I hear that she actually turned down. She was offered a pay to play friend offer the money wasn’t great. And she apparently said, and I’d like to hear your feedback on this that like she’s kind of leaning in to be it being a glamour also, I guess. She’s been taking care of her mom. So she was okay with it, I think. Okay, so what are your thoughts on that? I mean, I think I’m very surprised that Srei is not there. I feel very
I’m confused about it because I feel like I saw some posts Hannibal from her alluding to it. So I feel like something happened at the last minute with whatever it is, I think her coming off of a great season of traders to like, it just surprised me. I truly enjoy her. I have a feeling. We can’t completely count her out. Maybe we see her come in later, or for a few things here and there. So I almost feel like she’s pulling a Tamra and calling their bluff like, No, I’m not going to come back as a friend or for a few episodes, right? Because there was a point where they did that to Tamra and then they ultimately needed her and I’m sure when she came back, she got her good money. So I do feel like there’s a part of her that’s like, you know what you don’t recognize my worth you want to offer me chump change? Because like, if Drew is being offered more or the same amount of money, it’s just not right. Yeah. And good for her. I will miss her. I agree with you. I think that if these new women don’t hit we’ll see her but Cynthia did, obviously, because it was like a one or the other deal. So Cynthia obviously accepted that, which and I like Cynthia. But Cynthia is not number one, she’s not an OG. And she’s like a different energy, right? Like Sheree gives me a very unique energy. I just I don’t know, I’ve always really enjoyed watching her. And she’s one of those housewives who I feel like the fans really enjoy. But somehow the network doesn’t prioritize the same way. I don’t know why that is that they Yeah, I know what you mean. I know exactly what you mean. I have always loved Cynthia, I think she’s going to be great. I mean, I kind of wonder if maybe since she wasn’t really on the last few seasons, but has kind of stayed in the Bravo universe by like, going to that dinner party on Beverly Hills. You know, maybe production threw a little bit more money at her. Right. I don’t know. And then yeah, I mean, I think I think if Sure, Ray, if sharees pay was lowered significantly. I feel like it would have felt like a slap on the face in the face to her. But I do think I am actually kind of interested in Drew’s life. Now that she’s going through a divorce. She’s got the younger kids who knows that we’ll be able to because the last time we saw Cynthia, she was married, you know, she married that dork and they were briefly married. So we’re going to like it is an updated look into her life. Right. So I think that probably was appealing to production and Bravo. So we’ll have her Andrew, which is really cool. Like to see how they vibe. And now both as single women I don’t. I’m hoping that we like drift because I never disliked Drew, but I disliked Ralph so much that it clouded it. Yeah, I agree. I agree. And I think just seeing her manage life, right. And maybe even dating all of that I think will be I don’t know, I think viewers, including me enjoy seeing somebody kind of come through a difficult situation. And yes, seeing some of the difficulties along the way, but come out stronger. So I’m really hoping that for her. What about some of the other newly Angela Oakley? So, somebody DM me and said Angela Oakleys husband is a former Knicks player. So of course, I know nothing about sports. So I asked my husband who I mean, the Knicks is a New York team. They just lost they were in the playoffs championship, I don’t know whatever it was. They were on the playoffs. Yeah, playoff. So you know, we’re Knicks fans. By we, I mean, my family and I’m a name only because I don’t actually really watch. But anyway, so I’m like, is there anything you could tell me about Oakley from the next and my husband was like, Oh my God, he’s a character. He apparently had a big falling out with the Knicks, I guess years ago, because I think he’s a little bit older. Just from the pictures I saw. I didn’t look it up. And my husband just said like, he’s considered like a bad boy in the basketball world because he like went toe to toe with the Knicks and the NBA. So I’m going to assume that they’ll be interesting to watch if he’s a character, so I’m glad like that. Yeah, I looked her up because I was interested in I mean, anytime somebody says they’re known as a bad boy, I want to know more. It looks like he played back in the 90s when they recognize his name Oakley that was like a name like up there with like Barkley and yeah, right I think I think so. I don’t know Arkley Oakley. I have never been like a huge NBA person either because I just I watched them play and it reminds me very much of watching professional soccer where the guys are very whiny.

and they do and they’ll like, they’ll like flop just like they do in soccer and like, it’s just seems like a lot of I don’t know. Anyway, that is an unfair statement across the board. It’s just the times that I see that that I’m like, it just kind of turns me off. So I guess Charles, when he went to a Knicks game in 2017, was intoxicated, got into a big scene ended up fighting with security. So yeah, so if you’re a VIP former Nic, and you get so intoxicated, you’re thrown out of the stadium. That’s embarrassing. It is it’s in like he was like down there to like, not like quite CoreSite but like within the first I don’t know, 10 rows. Okay, so I looked up the other newbies. Kelly for Rahl is the owner of Nana’s chicken and waffles, which is a chain and does a lot of food network stuff. And she has a book love them. She and her husband have five girls. Yikes. A lot. A lot of kids. Yeah. And then Britney Edie It looks like she’s an interesting one. Because she came up it as a model and an actress and I found some pictures of her from back in the day in like 2016 when she used to date Rick Ross. And I found some pictures of her and Rec and DJ Khaled. Which, if you have followed anything going on with this, like Drake, Kendrick Lamar, this battle, Rick Ross was involved for a little bit and then he kind of excused himself from it.
I know excuse from the rap beef. Uh, yeah, exactly. So I think I’m sure she’s got some really interesting stories to tell. But I mean, I was laughing about that, because I’m like, of course, all leads always wrote like even the Drake and Kendrick Lamar does battle. Still, all roads lead to Bravo. And I you know that I always say this, and I try not to look too into the housewives before it actually comes on. But we have said for a long time, and like the fans in general, I don’t mean just you and I. But we’ve all collectively said Atlanta is the hip hop version of Hollywood, like Usher lives there chili lives there. Or she did out? Yeah, just say to Asheville, is that yes. For country? Yes, exactly. There’s so many people, if they’re not famous themselves, are married like Angela Oakley, to retire ballplayers, right, dated or were married to rappers or producers, the Rick Ross is of the game. So the idea that it was hard to cast never rang true to me. I think it was just hard to find the right combination. Yeah. And I, I have to say, I’m interested to see. So these women just looking at their bios, I’ve interested in each of them individually.
Yeah, I mean, it’s, they’re all different. They bring different things, just their backgrounds. It’s not like they’re all actresses. So if I’m an OG, if these women are interesting, and they bring it, and they come a lot cheaper, if I’m Kenya, if I’m Cynthia, I’m holding on for dear life, because you know, that’s kind of what we hear Bravo’s looking to do. We heard it with jersey, although I hear those new girls didn’t pop and we’ll get to all the jersey stuff we’re hearing but they’re kind of wanting to, like they did with Miami. Some of the older OG is that meaning older, like as far as chronological age, but the OG is and then introduce a newer set. But what happens is, people after a season people really take to the newer set, because it’s fresh, it’s new look at Miami, right? Miami was very much ODS, and the new faces, and I think they finally figured it out that they better figure it out on Miami and that they have started to integrate a little bit more, but there was definitely a line on that cast. And I also think we go through these waves and we saw it on New York and then we saw it on Atlanta, where you get women who come on with kids and husbands and as time goes, the kids get older adults want to film as much the husbands and the wives usually split and so it is a little bit more compelling when you have the home dynamics part of the show. It doesn’t always work out in the case of drew her home dynamic really took away from her likability but oftentimes it helps like in the case of Nene I always found that Greg Rest in peace, love Greg, Greg was like the dragon Bobby to me are probably like the two you know, just like Sal
had strong men and in both cases it really like soften the wife because Nene was such a could be such a harsh character. And then Greg was so lovable. I think I see that a little bit with Jen and Bill Aiden as well although he’s a low down dirty cheater so that kind of changed my opinion but they have that same vibe right? right like you can imagine it always made me like to read more because even though PK shady and like financially and all that he’s very likable, He’s funny. He’s smart, quick witted. I’m inclined to think Ariana with the wealthy boyfriend because the property she manages is like a very fancy building. And I don’t see how briavels boyfriend who’s a triple A baseball player and minor league baseball right don’t make very much money. Yeah, but So here’s what’s interesting. We’re not going to be on the show with others, like their friends who we don’t know. And maybe other housewives. So I heard this around the same time a couple of days prior. I heard that one of the beermen girls I want to say Ariana because I also think Brielle is too old. Like they’re all like in the 21 to 25. Maybe Maybe Brielle is not maybe she’s like 25 I think of her older because she has all that filler interface and it makes her look like she’s 85 year old woman and she’s probably only 25 So I heard she was looking for apartments in Manhattan. And then Brooks posted a picture and they were hanging out so and his sister are with no okay, so no with the beard with Ariana with Ariana veer Malka. So, I’m like, could be a coincidence that she’s looking for apartments. But also she’s moving to New York City and she’s hanging with Brooks and I was told Brooks is going to be on this making it in Manhattan. She’s the same age. So I think either sister could fit in whichever it is. But Ariana was hanging out with him who knows of both sisters? Who knows. I also like Brooks’s er to Chloe will be joining. Oh, okay, who’s a couple years older than him? So that would perfectly fit? Who knows? Maybe Chloe is going to be rude. No, because she’s engaged. Well, she’ll break off the engagement if it if it means reality thing.
Yeah, I think Ariana is the more interesting, I think of the two sisters. Just gonna say that. Which is probably not that nice. But I don’t I’ll I will totally watch that show. Like when you started watching summer house. Did you realize that a lot of them were closer to our age than like, and they were not like in their like young 20s? I did, because I remember Kyle being my age. And I remember at the time, so this what that was nine summers ago, right? Yeah. So, okay, you’re 30 years old. 31 years old. And it was very much the age and I’m sure you agree with this. And I I got married at 26. Right. So I was engaged at 26 I was 25. I was married at 26 which was on the young end, especially in New York. I remember Aaron lychee being like, Oh, we get married yet. No New Yorkers get married. My friends. were more like in their 30s getting married. Most of them some did. So anyway, I still had friends who were doing share houses out in the Hamptons. So like to me, I didn’t think it was weird.
Because the other thing is, those share houses are super expensive. I mean, now I can’t even imagine because the hammer has gotten so expensive but 10 years ago, like you had to have like a really secure job and like, be doing well which usually doesn’t happen graduate college 21 So like 2728 is when people could cause a lot of remember not necessarily I didn’t know people who lived at home and did summer shares which okay, you’re not paying rent all year or a mortgage you could pay but yeah, in case of a lot of people you’re paying a Manhattan rent and now you’re paying for a share house like you have to make decent money so that usually happens like late 20s, early 30s So I really didn’t think I think it’s weird he’s still on it. We’ll get to that pie just I’m so I’m really I’m not in a good place with him. With Kyle and let’s talk about let’s talk about summer house. And just because we’ve been talking Carla and Lindsey since that fateful day at the beginning end of August beginning of September, so we know aren’t we now know that this is like what August 20 something on the show of last year and we are seeing like we see Carlin Lindsey get into the fight and he’s like I want you to be softer and they this they have this fight and Carl says dude, like so mean. Do you want me to make a PowerPoint which will remember from who was a strappy that dat? And like, I remember Danielle being like, oh my god, there’s even images on this.

It’s a two and a half hour drive. Whatever summer traffic. It that is not the end of the world. They were fighting all weekend she calmly asked to decompress, spend the afternoon with her friends at brunch, and that she would see him later. Now, I am looking at as smart. I am still upset. I do not want to get into a car and fight for three hours. Let me go let me talk some shit with my friends. Let me have a Bloody Mary. Let me have a nice, I don’t know, chicken salad. And then let me get back to the apartment. My temperature will be down. Your temperature will be down and we can talk this out. I think Lindsay was making a nice responsible adult decision. I do too.
I think that like so I want her to spiral or be activated. So now she’s giving you soft, she’s giving you calm. She’s giving you mature and you behave like a toddler and leave her there with her bags. He was trying to get her to explode on camera.
Yeah, I think he was too. I definitely think he was baiting her. I’m I watched the show with my fiance. He’s very sweet. And he’s like, I’ll watch the shows, because we’ve been moving, right? So I’ve been, you know, trying to catch up. He’s like, Oh, watch it with you. And so we’re watching it. And he’s like, and I was explaining and like, this is the couple. Like, this is a couple that broke up when and that like the website went down and literally broke for a few hours when you and I are in Mexico. And he’s like, yeah, like I remember when be ruined our vacation. I can’t wait to meet him. He’s gonna be like you oh my gosh, it’s your didn’t ruin anything. I swear to God, we’re weak. We’re laughing about it. Because we’re like, you know, it tends it always tends to mean like, there’s more people like more traffic into the site. He’s like, maybe we need to book another trip to Mexico. Yes. I mean, I think, but we’re
all right. We’re watching it. And like we’re both like, can you imagine telling the person that you’re supposed to marry and a couple of months like that you need space? Like I’m like this is it’s just not it’s not good. And I believe you guys are there so you’re engaged couple right watching this. I mean, we are kind of flabbergasted because like we don’t fight like console or like what? You know, it’s it’s just it feels very wrong for them. And so like I honestly I feel like they’re kind of both being assholes. And yeah, so okay, but tell me what Lindsey has done the last cup because we know that Lindsey is Lindy is Lindsey, her personality can be off putting I’ve certainly felt that way. She isn’t somebody that I could see myself being you know, besties with. With that said, Carl, knowing her and who she is, has decided to marry her. So what has she done in the last few episodes that you see is out? Okay, cool. asking him if he’s on drugs certainly was below the bell, for sure. But what are the last couple of episodes? I feel like she’s trying. Yeah, no, I agree. I agree. I think some of the conversation about his career when and like, I think what she’s saying is fair, when she’s like, well, I want to be excited. But there’s nothing really to be excited about. I think some of it comes off as pretty harsh. But yeah, yeah, I don’t know. I just it’s very clear to me that they said, Okay, so the same way I say about Carl, and I’ve said it many, many times, about how he knew who she was. She knew who he was, and she still is engaged to him. Yeah. So I have to tell you, I find it very unattractive that a 40 year old man does not have an established career. And if he was looking at me to figure out how to be an influencer, and looking at me and coming up with these cockamamie ideas, that would be a lot of money upfront, right without a guaranteed return. Like if my husband was just sitting there looking at me, like, do you think I should open a sports bar with Loverboy non alcoholics and tea? I would be like, Are you out of your ever loving mind? Right, but I am not married to somebody like that. I am. You know what I’m say? I couldn’t be married to somebody who didn’t have their shit together and lacked ambition and lacked direction. Because he could he could. He could pack it up with a ball however, well, he wants to the fact remains. He graduated college at 21 years old. It is 20 years later, and he does not have and has never had an established career. Now, there was a point that his addiction played into that. Okay, he left Loverboy You can’t blame that on Lindsey. He was earning a salary from Loverboy he left there without securing anything else. Yes, we know he makes money from the show. You never know if you’re being asked back luckily was yes, he made $70,000 on ads through his social media. $70,000 in New York City is like $20,000 anywhere else. Yeah. Yeah. So there’s like what, what do you expect from her? But then again, as I keep saying about him, she did get engaged to him knowing full well that he’s not an earner because he’s not an earner. Yeah. I think they just both one of the fairy tale to work so badly. I really do. And furthermore, I’m going to tell you something else that always pissed me off about the Loverboy Carl situation and why I can not Kyle in a lot of ways, but I won’t knock him for this. This was Kyle’s idea. Kale is the one who created Loverboy Karl invested and
Horrell worked for Kyle. And it seemed like once Kyle was seeing success, Carl thought it should automatically translate to him. And you’re not partners, right? You know, for me, and there’s a difference. So it was a friend, he was like a friends and family investor, which generally was friends and family ambassadors, you know, they they don’t want friends and family to invest too much money, right? So I’m betting Carl’s investment, or they have already was nowadays significant. He wouldn’t or he couldn’t or Kyle didn’t ask him. Okay. But Kyle is the one who, who secured the funds to start up the company. Kai is right, Kyle is the one who assumed all of the address all our blood and sweat equity, all so like if I start a business, and you’re my employee, right, and you make a small investment, and you’re my employee, because my business starts to be successful doesn’t automatically translate to your salary doubling. Like no, and we very quickly saw the conversations and Kyle was kind of like, we’re not like he didn’t say it. I think Kyle handled it really nicely. Like, all things considered, you know, it wasn’t delivering, he wasn’t working. He wasn’t showing up like I remember very clearly because I have, you know, owned multiple businesses and like I’ve always understood where Kyle was coming from. But I think that Lindsay, like kind of bought into, I don’t know if she bought into Kyle’s,
I mean corals viewpoint, or if she influenced his viewpoint, where they both felt like, and that was when Amanda made that comment where she was like, coral works for us. And she got slammed for that. But like Carl works for them. That company is half lit a half Amanda’s, by the way because they’re married without a prenup. So whatever anybody wants to say it’s half hers. So he was an employee and he was acting like, he was a partner. You’re not there’s a difference like no So, but that, to me shows Karl’s entitlement. I just I never was a fan of his Yeah. Meaning there. Okay. Well, I mean, now, I mean, we are talking about Kyle and Amanda, like, what do you think about that whole fight? Really, I guess, with Kyle,
and Paige and Sierra?
I mean, kudos to Paige and Sierra for really doing the damn thing, because I’ve loved when Paige said, Oh, it’s too high level for us. You like because Kyle does talk down to them. And then on the after show, he goes, I don’t expect somebody who does a podcast understand I guarantee you page. So a more money after all the bottom lines last year than Kyle did. I guarantee you quite a bit more. Okay, so Paige knows quite well what she’s doing. I thought they were fantastic. I don’t know if that was their place to say it. But I’m happy that they did. I think that Kyle and Amanda need to get off the show. I think that if they don’t get off the show, they are actively choosing the business the show because it’s all wrapped together. So I don’t I don’t want to make it sound like they love being on the actual show. But they are choosing that over their marriage, I know you feel they feel worried that if they stop being on the show that Loverboy will lose its platform, and that the Loverboy will suffer. So my feeling on it is that Kyle should look into selling Loverboy he has built it up. It’s a known entity, I think he is too attached to a brand. And if you’re an entrepreneur and a successful one, you have to know when it’s time to hold them time to fold them, like make your money on it, put it into your next venture, a venture that doesn’t involve you having to be out every night drinking in a bar. And it doesn’t involve you having to be on the show. He’s a really bright guy. I’ve said it before I’ve listened to him on that financial pod. He, if he I’m sure could sell to Anheuser Busch or whatever and make a very pretty penny and then could spin that into a clothing line could split that into a variety of things. But I think he’s too attached. I think that he likes being the face of the brand. I think that he likes the social aspect of it because I just wonder as much better than I do, what he could do and what he should do with that brand. Right? And I’m sure why is it knocking? I think about Loverboy as a brand and feel like it’s more established then skinny girl was when Bethany sold it for me he about to get that money. Maybe the market is more saturated now 15 years later, maybe but he would get good money. He would get a few million where he wouldn’t
have to sell his and his wife’s ass on a television show for $250,000 a season. Come on. This is a guy who could make a few million if he sold it and then figure out the next thing and maybe live more modestly and go out to the suburbs and but that would require him getting out of the public eye and not being the center of orbit. Yeah, I don’t think he’s willing to do that. I think there is certainly an avenue for him to cash out and have a nice suburban life in the suburbs and pop out a couple of kids and continue to be a business. I think so too, because I think there’s a lot of there’s a lot of founders, actually, who have sold to a company, but still stay somewhat involved. They have either some kind of ongoing financial remuneration, or they have like they have a seat on the board like, oh, you know, I think like most especially as in like Laura, who started Larabar I know that she’s still she, you know, she sold the majority of it, but has some sort of stake still and and still has some involvement in the company, but it is not running the company. Listen, and I don’t mean to sound callous. Of course, it is baby, right, you put your blood sweat and tears into something, you’re gonna have an attachment. And absolutely, he could still quote unquote, be the face of it. But it doesn’t have to be where it’s all riding on him exposing it. And his exposure on his show. And all of that, right are ways to do things. You know, totally agree. If there comes a day that somebody offers me and you $20 million to buy our website, I’m not going to turn it down because I’m attached to it. But I would always want an active role. I would always want to voice in it. So I would hope to be able to broker a deal like that. Yeah. But I’m not going to be like, imagine us coming home and being like, Yeah, we were offered 20 million today, but we turned it down because we love it and it’s ours.

He’s going to be at a I don’t know if you saw this he’s going to be at a hotspot on the Jersey Shore Jenks which I’m pretty sure I remember Jenks from watching Jersey Shore. Right. So yeah, it’s kind of like it’s one of those type places. And he’s DJing. And so of course, my inbox was flooded with of course he’s doing this but she still hasn’t done. He still hasn’t let her the last time I checked. She’s a 32 year old grown adult. And he doesn’t have to let her do anything. She has tons of connections herself. Yeah. And she hasn’t. I do think she blindly follows him. I do think she lets him make a lot of the decisions and then she sits back and goes everything’s Kyle. Everything’s Kyle, which I think that Kyle could only be married to a person that allows that right. But yeah, and that’s fine. Like it is okay. Not everybody has to be Lindsey Hubbard, or even me who I wouldn’t say I’m like Lindsey harbor but certainly I’m not like a sit back and let it happen kind of person
then, yeah, we’re like watch my husband made things like. But with that said, she does have to take some accountability for the fact that you can’t have it both ways. Right? Well, and that’s where I, when I look at this situation with Kyle and Amanda, I think Kyle is acting like a complete baby. However, I think the reason and if we got him to just sit down when he’s sober, to really explain what’s going on is I think he really does, I think he either really does depend on her vision, her creative talent, she is very, very talented, or he’s been controlling, and once her in, you know, in his universe, and so like, I feel like from Amanda’s standpoint, like she needs to either assert herself more will get that recognition she deserves, or I think she like, you know, says like, you can’t control me, if you you know, like, you can’t and out of one, one breath, say, you know, I’m not doing enough. And now the other breath that I can’t leave, I want to start my own thing. Well, first of all, he can’t say she can’t leave because she can just leave. Not him. But she could just say find a new creative director, it is really hard to find an amazing creative director that is a great fit. And like, that’s the thing, like, I feel like the Loverboy so maybe it’s fucked up of her to leave him. I don’t I don’t, you know, like, like, obviously, I’m like, like, like, today you go off and be like, you’re depending on me, dude. Like, but Amanda, let’s say like me and me and you. We’re not married. So it’s not the same thing. But let’s say that my husband, instead of you being the person who runs a website and does the pod with me, it was my husband and like, that’s a deal we made. And he just left me like, I want to go whatever, start a bathing suit line. It’s kind of like, but you agreed to do this with me. Right? So it has to be where they sit down. And I don’t I don’t know. I gotta be honest with you. It’s not looking good. And yes, that looking good. Because you could say Kyle’s all about Kyle and bubble puppet. Kyle is the one with the established successful business, who Amanda has been working with for all these years and working on and so now she just wants to stop but what you can’t, what am I supposed to do? Like? How would you feel? How would I feel? If we are successful business going in our spouse wanted out to go try a passion project? Yeah, like you’re like, I don’t know, do both. But his his thing is, you don’t even give me 100%? How are you going to do both? And I can’t say I blame him for that. Yeah, I guess so. Like, it’s I don’t know, I see both sides. I actually really understand where Kyle, where I think Kyle is probably coming from but like I said, I think he’s acting like a little baby. Right? And the way that he’s expressing himself about it. But I really do think though, that like Loverboy, it the product is one thing, but that package and the look in the merchant, all the stuff that they have done is has so been it’s been Amanda’s brainchild, and it would be a big loss for the brand to lose that. So.
Yeah, we’ll see. I really do see both sides. And there’s a lot of ways that I think Kyle’s wrong. But I also think that a better response from Kyle would be what we said last week, which is like, I totally get it. I get that you want to like chat on your creative energy. Why don’t we look into starting with a partnership. And so she designs bathing suits with somebody, right? Yeah, versus loving the start right? Where one, right? And then like, see how it goes. See how she likes it. See what she wants to do with it? Like start there. Yeah. Okay, so we have, we have Jersey, We also have an update on Naomie Olindo. What do you want to what do you want to talk about now? Let’s go to Naomi, we can always come back to Jersey. I was that guy who else do it in for Jersey. So there’s some updates in that case. So if you guys will remember. The case is about Naomi, who started who was on Southern charm, started a business called lullaby lebay. I forgot how to pronounce it. And this woman named Virginia Jenny Cox filed a lawsuit against Naomi and the company in September of 2022 for essentially failing to uphold the 5050 partnership agreement in the business that started in early 2018. So without going into too much detail if you want to catch up on all the details, we did a really deep dive
I have in November of 2022, on episode 25 of the podcasts. That was a long time ago. It was but you know, having looked through it, there were a lot of like verbal promises. Naomi introduced people as her partner, Ginny, I think where she went wrong, didn’t get things papered the way that she thought she should have, she didn’t have access to certain things that business owners should, should do. So definitely go back and listen to that we went into a lot of detail, but that at the time, my prediction was the case would settle. And now and like we’ve, we’ve updated the case a couple of times, just to say, like, hey, it’s still going. So it’s almost two years later, because it was September 22, that the lawsuit was filed, the case has definitely not settled, I find it very surprising, because it is so expensive to go through something like this, to have, you know, lawyers on retainer, to be dealing with something like this for almost two years, she’s got to have spent
close to 100,000. If not lots more just on legal fees, Ginni, and then I’m imagining Naomi, as well. And then if you go to trial, it’s another
god, god knows 50 to 60,000. Like, it’s been very, very expensive, very time consuming. It’s very stressful to go through something like this. So that is why I’m so surprised that Jenny has stuck it out, which tells me she’s got a good case and that she’s, anyway, they have been trying to settle. Apparently, Naomi Syed just put out what’s called an offer of judgments on March 21. And what that means is, it’s kind of like a last ditch effort to settle the case before the trial. So there they offered, Jenny $100,000, and an official judgment against Naomie sites. They’re saying, hey, we’ll give you 100 grand, and you get the judgment against us. But if you don’t, if if Ginnie side doesn’t accept that offer, and if there is a verdict against Naomi, but that it’s less than $100,000 the plaintiff, so Jenny would then have to pay Naomi’s attorney bill for the trial, because it means they wasted everybody’s time by not accepting the offer. And like not not settling before trial.
Because judges, the whole legal system, they really encourage cases to settle because they don’t because they’re, they’re already so backed up. They really, really, really push for it. Right. So I find that very interesting that Naomi side has said not only will pay 100,000, but we’ll also take the judgment against us. So it means I think it means are worried that they’ll have to pay more, and or that the case will actually go to trial. And then yesterday, literally hot off the presses, a scheduling motion was filed that said either mediation has to be done by August 1, so the court has tried to push them to go into mediation, or the case has to start trial by after November 1 of this year. Very interested interested to see how that goes. Because I have to say, I don’t see Naomi, I don’t follow the lebay. But I follow her and I don’t really see her posts like she used to. So it’s an online business, right? I think so. Yeah. I don’t think she has like an actual Zoho. I don’t even know how much money the business is making. And maybe that’s by design right now. Yeah. She’s also no longer on TV. So eyes aren’t on her. Which to Kyle’s point.
Probably I revenue. I mean, I when I was going through all the documents for the deep dive back what like a year and a half ago, I found it really interesting some of the stuff that that I saw and like it looked, it looked like Jenny definitely had a case. He ate also, though, looked like Jenny did some stuff that was a little bit shady too. So I don’t know, you know if that changes how it will go but we’ll keep an eye on it. Some more southern charm stuff. A lot of people asking, is there drama with Austin and Craig parently. They’d been recording their podcast separately. I hear there is some tension, nothing earth shattering. We know that they’re opening a bar and restaurant together in Charleston.
that could be playing into it businesses are stressful. My sources like it’s not something they can’t move past but filming the business it’s just tensions are up so maybe they’re more avoiding each other on the pod because I would imagine they don’t want to fight publicly and yell at each other. But I we’ve seen Austin and Craig fight and make up so I don’t think it’s a nobody slept with anybody’s girlfriend. I think we’re okay. Southern charm. Katherine Dennis got a DUI. I TMZ actually just released the video and it is She is yelling at the police officer.
He’s like putting her seatbelt on cuz she’s cuffed. And he she’s accusing him of like, Why are you touching me? Why are you so close to me? You’re disgusting. I’m gonna sue you. And then she shouts for her dog. I got another Bravo lab drive. Oh, she had her dog in the car. Let me my dog. I can’t go to jail. I need my puppy. And they’re like your puppies go into the pound. No loses our mind. Sure getting sued. It was really unflattering. Really?
I mean, wow. So here’s the thing. And we actually, the cocktail hours that were on our zoom call this week, we spoke about this. I can’t equate this to Karen huger, I can’t equate this to Sharon Vador that she said that a lot of trauma. She was 21 years old when she got together with Thomas. Somebody pointed out on our zoom call that as a 29 year age difference, which is the same difference between my son and I just to like, put it in perspective how gross that is. She clearly needs help. But I just can’t help but feel like at a young age, she was taken advantage of abused by this wealthy, very powerful man. And it’s just very sad. She and she’s got these two young kids and like when the best parent is Thomas that is like, frightening. Yeah, my heart really goes out to her. I am really sad to hear there was a dog in the car. I just feel like why? Why are the dogs getting dragged into this? I just really hope she gets help. I think it’s just gotten so sad. And she has so much ahead of her and like can can really, I could think she could really pull herself out of it. She just needs sounds like she needs not just help but maybe even a change of scenery. Yeah, like in a rehabilitation facility. Yeah, but like, like she’s mad. And then like, I’d get out of that area and like get out of being amongst all of the same people. I think she was gonna go back to school, like, go back to school in a different light because she wasn’t getting to see your kids that much anyway, like, go go to North Carolina, go to Georgia, go somewhere and just start fresh in a new area. So you’re not going back into the same old patterns. I agree. Yeah, I’ve always suspected and I don’t know this, but I’ve always suspected with her. It’s like a pill. Or like pills and alcohol or something and alcohol because
she it’s presented that way. Like she doesn’t seem like I had a control drunk. It’s more like under the influence. Do you know what I mean? So like she’s doing something and then drinking as well. Yeah, yeah, I know. We are like running out of time. And we didn’t get to
valley village as you love to call it. I just had to put it out. Like this last episode. My very favorite moment was Jesse on the boat. Essentially out Jackson Jack sighing Jack’s like you’ve always been a fighter. He’s like looking into a soul. You know, you’ve always been a fighter and now you’re fighting with your wife. You’re being Jack’s your own wife. You don’t need to prove yourself to your wife. And then he here was a Jackson’s always reserved the Britney drinks. I was cackling because Jesse just owned Jax in that moment and he out Jax Jax. I gotta tell you I really liked Jessie in that moment. It made me feel like there’s hope for him you know with him and Michelle maybe they never were a good match maybe he fucked up we don’t we didn’t see them before and like she’s so off putting at this moment that it’s hard to really hold him accountable. Like you know what I’m saying like I don’t know. Yeah, but we did see him slamming the table and all those things and acting like he’s better than people and Capri new resume crammed fresh Yeah, I can assess oh my god do but we were right so we he was spotted with that girl who apparently was scattered for the OSI claim she didn’t want to be on it. Yeah, okay, but apparently on Watch What Happens Live. He said he is dating Lacey, a coal or Nicole. I think it’s lazy.
We all play cynical. She also has a young daughter, I would like to point out I, this is totally random, but I thought this was a funny moment to when Jesse sitting there legs crossed with like, you know, color pop and he’s like I’ve always liked like a Rubenesque woman. Yeah, like from a Michelangelo painting and Danny’s face just gets like, very confused and he’s like, would you consider your wife to be full?
And so he’s like, Oh, no, not now. But when we met, she was much fuller. And then like, whatever. It doesn’t matter if he likes a full woman or a thin woman, but the woman he’s dating like, she’s like, couldn’t be any thinner. Like if she turned sideways, you may miss her. So like, what was that about? Like, Jessica just kind of like spouts off and you’re kind of
Supercuts? Yes, yes, he bought tickets, like things, like even like with telling Jax what he should do, but it’s kind of like, Dude, I mean, what are you doing? But yeah, we’ll talk about the Britney’s, you know, the Britney and Jackson. It’s all it’s just interesting watching all of us and really seeing what things are really like, a little bit more of what things were really like in this relationship. I think like, I just gotta say, they dislike Janet so much. And I saw a meme
that said it was a picture of her. And she was wearing like a cream sweater in the confessional. It said, this is a woman who could manage the shit out of a Kohl’s.
I was like, yes. Yes. That is just so basic and annoying. I want her God. Oh, my God. That’s funny. She
owns a retail store. And I make sure she could just give us updates on the podcast every week about what is going on. I mean, the the drama that goes on with her staff. Oh, God, like is is way more interesting than, you know, she had entered the door getting a DUI and like some of the shit that we talked about. Well, that’s why we all loved Vanderpump Rules. Yeah, yeah. Well, I remember Keven, and I don’t watch the Kardashians. But in the very early days, when they were like normal people, and they ran that store those that was like interesting, because they really were like fighting with each other and firing the girls that worked for them. And like, you know, that’s why people love South southern hospitality. I wonder if Craig would think of doing something like that, like and so in down south, oh, that would be a great spin off.
