We kick off with a back to school tangent. And of course, we talk Real Housewives of New Jersey and the non-reunion as we’re calling it. Is it the end of the show as we know it? Another tangent – the meanness of some of the fan accounts is just a line too far. Is Teresa spiraling after seeing bad fan reactions to her saying that she didn’t care about what Louie said about Marge and her son suffering? We have a theory about why Johhnie Aioli might actually be suing Shannon. And the RHONY trailer is out and we have some insight into some of the eyebrow-raising clips…

What’s up? Cocktailers, hello, Amanda, hi b i gotta say, I don’t think you’re quite there, but I am in full on back to school crazy this week because my kids go back to school next week. Do you always feel Do you feel like end of school year or beginning of school going back to school feels hazier for you?
Okay? For me, I think it’s end of school year because we get invited to all different events. If your child is in a stepping up or graduation year, that’s compounded by five, and then it’s like that hustle to my son does sleep away. My daughter does day camp. So it’s like that hustle to get ready for camps. I feel it at the end, the beginning of the year. Number one, I dislike the end of the year because suburbs and other states all end a couple weeks before us. New York City goes right to the bitter end of June. Yeah. So I hate it, because I feel like I’m watching everyone go away and, like, when you and I were chatting like you were already, like, going places, and your kids were off, and I was like, I’m still in but then not till this is bitchy. Here I am saying, Yeah, you are with your few more weeks until right? Like I have until the first week of September. So I feel like I’m seeing on social media. I’m talking to my friends like I have friends in Florida, I have a cousin in Texas, and I’m seeing on Facebook all their kids are heading back. So it makes me start. I’m like, Araya, do I have the school supplies? I don’t side note, I’m gonna be ordering them on Amazon. So I feel like I have a cushion, whereas the end of the year, so it’s I feel like I get screwed in June, but I get I’m good in the beginning, and I feel like you’re the opposite. I am gonna say I think I have probably what is an unpopular opinion, but I actually feel it’s better if they go back to school a little later, because this is when it’s hottest, right? It makes no sense, on like, some of the hottest days for them to already be going back to school. But yeah, so 100% and I would rather, if I have to pick one, I’d rather like, because once you know the school year is ending, it’s like, you just chug through. So I’d rather go back a little bit like, it feels good to be like, Oh, we still have another week. Like, I’m just, we’re just doing, like, we’re just leaving for vacation tomorrow, which is cool too, because we’re hoping that Okay, other states, everyone’s back to work, so our resort will hopefully not be as crazy. So like, those things are, listen, there’s pluses and minuses to all, but I there’s also optimism in a new school year. I agree. It’s like, almost like a New Year’s time where you can set a new routine and or get back into routine. And they clean out my kids drawers around this time of year and donate their clothes. And so their bedrooms seem more organized. Like, it’s like, like, I really try to start, it lasts about a month, but I really try to start in like, this organized, like, I set up, like, little stations. My kids are getting a little bit older, but still, like, where their homework is organized and everything is organized at the beginning. Yeah, I agree. I think my kids are actually I think they’re ready to go back. I think they’re like, We are real tired of mom making us listen to chapel Rowan all the day, all time. It’s real fake. Listen to what chaperone. Do you know who she is? No, oh my god, she is a pop star. I probably know her songs. Do you think you would do pink pony club is one? Just listen to her. You won’t be able to suck. I’m obsessed. My kids are super annoyed with me playing her all the time.
Time and listen to this song and listen to this song and dance with me in the kitchen. But anyway, yeah, so we’re, I think we’re all, there’s that apprehension of, okay, then when they go back to school, that means I have to go to the gym an hour earlier and getting everybody to go to bed earlier. But overall, I think we’re all looking forward to getting back into it. Yes, okay, all right, let’s talk about jersey, I would say, having watched the non reunion, having watched some Watch What Happens Live. It seems that jersey, as we know it, is done. We had the I’m calling it a non reunion, the replacement reunion at rails. The women were in two separate rooms. We watched them tall production, which room they wanted to be in. Were you surprised that Fessler went to Melissa’s room? No, we saw Fessler. Who we love. We’re big Fessler fans. She sat on Watch What Happens Live. I learned new information about Theresa and Louie. She was referring to the bloggers, and just stuff that she found out about her and Jen and Louie, and working with accounts, we really haven’t addressed much on the pod, because, quite honestly, it’s beneath us, but they really don’t operate that way. Right about the woman who’s come out now exposed all of the stuff that she did with Jen Aidan. Yeah, and I’m gonna just give my opinion on that, like she exposed them. I’m not surprised. There’s another fairly large account. The girl’s name is Roxanne. All about RH I don’t even, honestly, I don’t know, because she’s never really, she was never really on my radar. And when all of the stuff went down and I obviously released the video, obviously all of the pro Teresa accounts were heavy on my tail, I just blocked all of them. So I don’t really even remember their names or whatever when I see people mention them on Twitter. Melissa’s old nose basically exposed everything. And they’re not created receipts. They’re receipts. I don’t think I’ll ever really understand the allegiance to a housewife and the willingness to do their bidding and to really get in the mud and to be a part. I’m a yeah model and cocktails is a fan account like the real moms, like Bravo historian, like Bravo by gays so many other accounts, and we express our favorites, and we share scoop, and we do all of those things. But I don’t work for anybody, and I just want to say that I find satisfaction just in all of it coming out, because over the span of these months, during the show airing, if there was any truth to us working with accounts or anything like that. There’s no proof of it. They can say until the cows come home that Margaret worked with accounts. I have seen zero receipts, right? So either Margaret works with accounts and nothing ever came out, seems hard to believe, or people who speak like because you’re on a housewife’s side in an argument or a fight. Jersey is the only place where, all of a sudden it means you’re working for them. It’s so true, which that had to come from somewhere, right? I also want to say so I did not follow, I don’t follow those accounts. So I did not follow Melissa’s old nose, and then when they are talking, most people don’t they’re small accounts, and people larger accounts, repost them. So that’s how people see it. Most people don’t follow these cult accounts because it’s like, psycho but, sorry, yeah, and that’s exactly what I was gonna say. Is Danielle say that she had, you know, shown pictures of her husband, Nate and pulling it arrows at his pack, saying that he has man boobs and all of that. I’m like, that is just that’s meanness. And you and I, we love, and I’m not trying to make this sound like we’re virtuous and better than anybody, so please don’t but I just see I think there is a very moral line. I think that is just mean, and that is not something that I participate in or want to see in my feed. To be honest, I don’t remember in I don’t know we’re at 100 This is our 100 and 19th podcast episode, and I don’t remember us attacking anybody’s physical attributes. I know that a lot of people have said, Oh, Louie’s red faced. He’s a crab. He’s a lobster. I’ve personally, I’ve never needed to add that to anything that I’ve posted about him. I’ve never needed to add, if any house, White House, husband, bravo. Lab is too skinny, too fat, whatever ever Yes. Have we posted and have I shared stuff where people have had a lot of work done? Yeah, because that’s, like, interesting to see, but to comment and say, Oh, somebody’s ugly. Like, when Rachel FUTA said that Theresa had hot dog lips unnecessary there are, I don’t know. I don’t do it in real life. I don’t do it on here. Like, my opinion on somebody can be stated.
Effectively, without calling out their looks and based on their action and by and large, most of the people on our TV screens are very good looking people, whether you like them or not. Like Jennifer Aiden’s a beautiful woman. Theresa is a beautiful woman. I find Louis to be an attractive guy. He’s he’s in good shape. His face is attractive. Like, I don’t even if I didn’t think that I wouldn’t be like, Oh, he’s so ugly, but they’re mostly good looking people. Very rarely do people get cast. You know what I mean? I don’t know. So, yeah, I just it’s not really the point, but it’s just that kind of stuff is so icky. Yeah, yeah. And that’s a good point to say too. Like, that’s not something I talk about in real life. And we love talking about plastic surgery. We now have cocktails who are saying, can we all go together for this lower face lift, that, or whatever, faceless maybe we can get a group, like, a group discount? Yes, and it’s because everyone knows it’s happening. It’s It’s so we like to talk about plastic surgery, because, like, we will be in those shoes at some point. And it’s a very interesting topic, not because we’re poking fun at somebody wanting to change something about their appearance, and just going along those same lines. It’s Jennifer Aiden commenting on people’s looks. Fan account. She comments on how people look. She called the account Melissa’s old nose. She like reposted a picture of her, or under a picture of hers, she wrote that she’s deformed looking like really. Now, I don’t recall ever seeing Melissa Gorga or Margaret comment on anybody’s looks fan castmate. I don’t Marge has said, Your lips look like a monkey’s ass. Oh, that’s true. Yes, that is true. That is true. I don’t know, yeah, I just and I gotta tell you, and guys, we’re gonna get to the we’re gonna get to the Roni trailer. It has us both very excited seeing that trailer. Boy, it just made me think, you know what? First season was a slow go. But look how invested the fans are. I think they’re gonna have a fantastic season. It looks great. People are in it. And two things can be true. You can miss our old Roni ladies, the OGs. Now I don’t mean old, chronological age, and you can love and appreciate this new wave. This new wave is fashionable, feisty. It’s fun, yeah. So I it’s new. It’s, I don’t know why, but I want my Ronnie to start in the fall like it’s the timing is so great too. I don’t know why, but yes, October 1 feels like the perfect day to get Roni back in our lives. And agreed, and I think that it watching this season and the network watching the fans respond. I’ll say it again, as far as I’m told, No decisions have been made. I don’t know if it’s a full reboot. I think it is easier to keep an anchor. I know that I said last week, I can’t picture Theresa being gone. Tides are turning on. Teresa boy, Frank Catania, came out and made a comment that’s not the Teresa I grew up with. It seems like people are more openly speaking out. Theresa herself is commenting in real time, like today yesterday on Bravo TV. Posts, page six posts, she’s writing things like, why is Rachel obsessed with me? Where’s the evidence that I spoke with fan accounts like she’s spiraling. I’m hearing a set of stuff that she’s saying she’s willing to sit down and speak with the entire cast, except Melissa and her brother. She is starting to feel like she might not be asked back, and I think it’s a real possibility for her. So we’re gonna discuss the last episode, but jersey is done as we know it, and there’s a real good chance that means Theresa’s out and she’ll always be in the Bravo sphere, but I just don’t see them filming with Louis. I think he will be used in as little capacity as possible. Yeah, I think her reactions, which we’ll get into, but her reactions at this non reunion felt like a real view into her blind loyalty or hatred, or whatever you want to call it. And I think that’s turned even, even to the people who have been fans, I think that turned a lot of people off. So at the start, you mentioned Fessler coming in, right? Yes. Let’s go back to Fessler, who might be one of my favorite housewives. Yes. And I just really, I really didn’t like Danielle, how hard she came in right off the bat, as Fessler walked in, her approach to me, it’s just too aggressive. It’s too aggressive. It’s too digging her heels in. It’s too I’m right. And Fessler got annoyed, rightfully, but ultimately, she apologized for what she felt was wrong, which was defending Jen Aiden in the fight, because it was they both put hands on each other. But for me, Danielle is just a bull in a china. Stop that approach, sloppy. Yeah, I agree very she’s very rough around the edges. And to Jen’s point, she hadn’t even had Jen hadn’t had a chance to sit down before Daniel just goes off.
Life. And then I have to say, I really liked the way Jen handled it, saying that now she had seen the fight that she regretted, standing up for Jen Aden, she took accountability. She has been very her change, right? And her going into that room felt very genuine and natural, because she’s like, I have seen all these things. This is why I have am taking a step back from friendships with these other women. So you juxtapose that with a Jackie, who everybody is like, nobody understands it. You know, at least Jen, like the Jen is being genuine and authentic. And it is not easy to sit across the table from somebody who is like trying to leap across the table at you and to say, I was wrong. I’m sorry. And she did that, and I thought the way that she resolved things with Rachel them hugging it out, it really feels like it was genuine and it’s stuck.

Yeah, we saw Rachel post for fesslers birthday last week, which was really nice to see regarding Jackie. So yesterday she came out, and she’s doing a limited edition solo pod. I listened to it yesterday, even though I posted a 90% of you said you weren’t. I wanted to just hear what she had to say. I think the reason Fessler, first of all, I think it’s limited edition, because I think I heart is probably saying, let’s see how many people tuned into her solo and then we’ll give her a spin off. I don’t think they’ll commit to that prior to numbers. I don’t think they base those numbers on this first episode, because she had a very well known account your Bish therapist, who’s a therapist and a Bravo fan. It was a really great episode. It softened me to Jackie, because what Jackie said, and I don’t agree with really any of what she’s done, but what Jackie said, which I found interesting, was I worked so hard to cultivate this image that I was smart and classy and above it. But there is a side to me that’s shady and that’s sheisty, and it came out this season, and I was like, You know what? At least she’s honest. But then she really went back to I wanted to be friends with Teresa and all that. And it could be, she said I saw her as a mother, and this is her job. And on she accused her husband of cheating. So I stick with what I think. And what I think is that when she was reduced to a friend role Margaret and Melissa, didn’t have as much time for her. They were more focused on Rachel and Jen, Rachel and Danielle, and she felt heard about it, and so she did what she thought would secure her more air time and piss off her quote, unquote friends who she was angry with, and she befriended Theresa and Jen, and that is shady, and it is sheisty, and that’s what she did, and that’s that to go back though, to go and be friends somebody who I wouldn’t say single handedly, but was the main person responsible for going around telling people that your husband had an affair?
I don’t I will never understand it. I will never understand it. I love that Rachel ended and shared the news about her pregnancy ended everything on such a happy note. And I loved seeing the ladies, like jumping up and down. And I think was it Melissa, who was like, almost shaking, I’m like, Stop shaking, or she’s pregnant, that it was like a violin, but it was so, like, it was so cute to see them, like physically jumping up and down and legitimately happy. That made me very happy. Do you think Jackie could have walked in that other room even walked in just to say hi, like dolo Dolores did no, because Jackie doesn’t take criticism. Jackie said so on the pod I listened to. She’s a huge people pleaser. I’m like, so caught because I get the human side of it, and I obviously get that she has insecurities and everything like that, but when you say, even when she was not friends with Teresa, she really went in on her right Theresa didn’t take to her right away, and Jackie rent white right to if you could control your husband, would you have been in jail? Would he be in jail? So on the one hand, your people pleaser, but it sounds to me that Jackie wants to be liked and accepted and really outwardly liked, right? So it’s not that Theresa really went for her. If you remember back, she just was could take her a lever, but because she wasn’t meeting immediately, inviting her to lunch and hanging out with her, she like went on her. So it’s are you a people pleaser, or are you insecure? And the second you don’t feel like embraced and welcomed, you go for people, and then you don’t want to face it. Jackie doesn’t want to face those women. That’s why she backed up. We saw that famous scene where at the end of the Last Supper, the girls were all waiting for their cars, and she heard them and walked backwards because she she could dish it out, but then she doesn’t want to face it. And I really, I understand it’s an insecurity. I do. I just can’t relate to somebody like that, because I think it’s a much better way to go, to not go so hard on people, maybe, and then you don’t have to face such backlash. But if you’re gonna go hard like Margaret say, does then, face it, so you want to be a big, tough guy or girl, then go and be a tough guy all the way. So no, Jackie wouldn’t have gone into that room and Margaret would have demolished her, and Jackie would have been victim mode and the collapsed chest and walking out with the shoulders slumped. But then she would have went back to a room and revealed and said.
God knows what about them? Yeah, I agree. Yeah, that backwards walking moment was cringe cringy cringers.
Okay, so I am curious. So I think there’s quite a loud majority of people, or maybe it’s minority, who say there are still questions we would like to hear people have been asked, I would have loved to hear somebody at the rails non reunion ask her, was she surprised at Teresa’s lack of reaction to finding out about Jackie meeting with Teresa’s ex. Because if you remember, in the last summer, Jen is sitting over in a corner, and she’s, oh, she’s gonna be mad, and oh, she’s still processing it, and she’s intimating, oh, just wait, Theresa is gonna flip out. And then I think Jen was quite disappointed that Theresa did not have a reaction, at least not publicly, that we saw. Because I think Jen like, I don’t know. I think that’s almost like a possessiveness thing. She wants to be the friend.

because she went against Danielle. She didn’t like when she accepted Jackie, she obviously accepts Dolores because they’re friends before, but Dolores and her have had their issues. It’s almost like Jen wants her to herself and listen, Teresa is very simple to figure out. Her feeling is I revealed something on Evan, even though I swear on my children, I didn’t mean to hurt her. Okay, how could you on camera saying someone’s husband had an affair, not have the intent to hurt. But yeah, okay, so that’s there’s nothing to believe. It’s yeah, if you say on camera, Jackie’s husband cheated, she’s going to be hurt. If that wasn’t your intention, then you should have spoke to her privately if you wanted her to know about the rumor. Yeah. Okay, but so Teresa says it’s fine that she spoke with his ex, because I hurt her first. So she’s allowed to hurt people first, more more over. If Theresa had a larger team around her, right? If she had more soldiers, maybe she would have turned on Jackie and been like you spoke to her too. You’re banished from my crew. But walking into the Last Supper, the only person she knew would sit with her is Jen and Dolores sat with her, but there was the chance that she would go between both rooms, which she did go say hello to them. So she’s not full team Teresa, even though she’s mostly team Theresa. So Theresa couldn’t have a room that was just her and Jen. Yeah, yeah, that’s true. They should have put Jackie in a solo room.
Got nobody, yeah, and then So Jen, what did you What did you think about how she was at the non reunion, the way Jen was like at the sit down, watching herself at the final supper, she had this smile. She was so pleased with her actions and her nasty comments. Did.
And yell for me, it really showed me how stunted she is, Arrested Development. Both her and Teresa behave as if they’re mean girls in middle school. Now most of us have never been that mean in middle school, but those who have, I would hope, evolve. It was disturbing for me. It showed like this intrinsic maliciousness, that when I don’t like somebody, I want them to suffer, like what Louis said, like I want them to hurt. I want their husband to hurt. In the case of what Louis said, I want their child to hurt. I don’t care. I will demolish by all means necessary. When I don’t like something you do to me, anything that happens to you that’s negative I am okay with Yeah, I don’t know if I agree with you that it’s an Arrested Development thing, because that, almost to me, implies, like the it’s partially not their fault, because they’re right something that happened. And like I do, I think there is this intrinsic maliciousness. And I also have seen both Jen and Theresa have smart and intelligent, like emotionally intelligent sides. When it comes to their families they love, but when it comes to people who cross them, they see red and they insult people, and they almost have this like cognitive dissonance, where it’s like they can’t see any other way but their own way, and that their brain only reinforces all of the negative things. Like, case in point, Theresa doesn’t get mad about Jackie because she’s so focused on Marge being evil and the other, another case in point, like she absolutely blindly defends Louie for saying he hopes Marge and her son suffer. She’s, I don’t care. And that is, oh, she could have not defended him. And also, but not, but not been like, I think that’s wrong. Like, I was grossed out by that, and Theresa said, I don’t care. And then Dolores, it was almost like Dolores slipped and she said, when it was my son, and like, Theresa immediately was like, stop. No, he didn’t mean that. He didn’t mean that. I’m gonna make him apologize. Now we know that Frankie got absolutely scammed by whatever shell company Louis hired for him at that time, the company’s defunct. There’s legal issues with a lot of Louis companies, LLCs, whatever he had going on. I honestly have zero interest in looking into the details of each and everything. It’s enough for me to know one of our cocktailers, who is an attorney, sends me, like a lot of public documents, just public documents, just scam. And most recently, that vanilla, what’s it called veneria? Yeah, they’re facing lawsuits not paying their own staff, not paying hired vendors. There’s been a lot of large social media accounts like wife of the party, who is, you know, does parties for the Kardashians and super famous wealthy people, but dolo is not gonna go there with her son. I think that she, as any mother, would not want her son to faint and face an ounce of whatever the investigations and Louise capable of. She’s friendly with Theresa. She’s known her a long time. Shout out to Lauren, who was on our zoom call last night, had a very good point. She was like, it’s loyalty for knowing her for so long, but it’s also feeling for her, because without the show, what does she have? Her ex husband does not provide financially in any capacity. Louis has so many different things going on, according to people, they’re using her money to live and to pay lawyers fees and all of this. So Dolores, going against her is really gonna hurt her, but I guess she felt like she had to speak up when it was said about Margaret some because she is Margaret’s friend. Dolores, I don’t know. I wonder if and when they’re not on the show together, when they’re not on the show together, how close they are, how much do they hang out? They’ll always be friends, acquaintances. You know what? I mean, they’ll always be that. Are they going to be double dating? I don’t think so. I really don’t I think that Dolores wants the best for her and especially her daughters. I think that she feels sorry that both her parents are gone, that she doesn’t have family, whether it’s her, you know, she’s played a part in her cousin relationships and her brother’s relationship and friendships that have fallen to the wayside, but it doesn’t mean that Dolores doesn’t have feel for her. So yeah, I agree. I’m with you on that. I also we talked last night during the Zoom shout out to the cocktailers guys. That was such a good one, which, by the way, I meant to tell you this. I had to, I had to go pick up a kid, and in order to let everybody keep talking as you had to go to, I have to give up ownership to another person who’s going to stay on the call. So I’m like fumbling around trying to find the right button, because I.
Already said goodbye, and then I hear them say, now that the parents are off, like, what do you guys really want to talk about? That is hysterical. And a couple of the cocktails messaged me today. They were on for like, over an hour, and I forget they said, Rita, oh, I have to remember the other two names and two others. They’re like, they should definitely be like, your cabinet, yes, run the show. And you’re like, if Amanda, when Amanda and I do get laid up, we’re definitely gonna have you guys just run the Zoom like when we go get our lower face lift. Because, yeah, you guys are great anyway. But we were talking because when some of the cocktails were saying they thought that dolo looked a little silly for backing up Theresa, the non reunion, really, right after we we saw that she went crazy on Marge at marge’s house before the last summer. But I had been thinking the same and like, I think you pick your kids and your family’s peace over getting that word in sometimes, and I do, I think you’re right that she sees she feels for Teresa and doesn’t want to hurt her more. So it’s also the path of least resistance. Let’s face facts. The same way that Dolores knew about the meetup at Margaret house, pre reunion, and basically told Margaret, I don’t want to know about this. I’m not coming. I don’t agree with it. I don’t want to know about it. Don’t say I knew about it. Is the same way Dolores says to her, I am not going against Teresa. My son, worked for that guy. There’s a lot there. I go way back with her. I don’t always agree with what she says, but she’s friend who is like family. I look past it, so long as she’s not coming for me. She’s my friend and that’s it. You guys want to be with her. You want to go that’s on. You don’t drag me into it. I am a neutral party where it’s concerned. The conversation has been had. The conversation has been had with Melissa and Joe Gorga. The conversation has been had with food as the conversation has been had with Marge and Joe Benigno. Don’t involve me and mess with Teresa or I’m just going to Teresa side. I stay neutral, so long as you keep me out of it and we see how downright scary Dolores can be. So I think they’re all just, you know, what would they want her to not be neutral. Her being neutral is a benefit to them. If she was on Teresa’s team, that would be worse for them, yeah, like fully on her team. I totally, I’m actually more surprised it doesn’t bother Teresa more dolo is on watch what happens? I don’t know if you had a chance to watch this. I did, and they asked her, does it bother Teresa? She’s, oh, my God, yes, trust me, I get there’s lots of phone calls and lots of conversations about my off camera, about my being neutral, like she definitely implied that Theresa hates it without saying it, because she is Dolores is very, I think, diplomatic, yeah.
Okay, so Danielle, it sounds making it sound in her post, because we’re seeing the last round of posts from all of the wives. She made it sound like she’ll be back and that jersey will get back to the glory days, which some people think that means they’re going to film in the fall and winter without Teresa and Jen. What do you think where Danielle is concerned? I think that’s wishful thinking at best. Is it possible, like a couple of ladies stay and they add people? Yeah, I don’t think Jersey’s gone. Jersey is a huge base, and I know that they’re already reaching out to different groups of women, and I think who they decide to go with will depend on who they keep and in what capacity. I don’t have any knowledge, but just based on being a housewife expert, as everyone listening is,
I think that Danielle’s violence, aggression, sloppiness, don’t bode well for her. I think at one time it would have been welcomed. I think the network is looking to take things into a lighter, silly drama. They’re moving away from the toxic. There’s been a lot of talk about reality reckoning. You have brandy Glanville. You have Carolyn Manzo. You have now Bethany. Now we may have Kenya. You have a lot of big names. Nini, the names are piling up, and I stand by and I will see this until I’m blue in the face, or red in the case of Jersey, grown adults who sign contracts to get paid to show their lives on television. Can cry me a fucking river. Okay? I That’s really how I feel at any moment. You can be like, I can’t do this anymore. I quit and give the money back right at the end of a season when you get a bad edit, Kenny didn’t leave after a bad edit, Caroline Manzo didn’t leave. She wasn’t asked back and then got a spin off. Brandy Glanville certainly didn’t leave. So it’s, excuse me, Leah McSweeney, certain didn’t leave. She wasn’t asked back for the reboot. So it’s sour grapes, right? With that said, all of that is making the network go and this I know from sources like they can’t hire people who show themselves.
Like that. And so Danielle saying at the final sit down, when asked by Jen Fessler, do you regret getting physical? And she says, I regret not killing her, meaning Jen, eat it in do we think she really meant that? Now you were suspended, though, for those actions, you were removed from a couple panels of bravo bravo con because it coincided with that physical fight, you would think she would show some remorse and watch what happens live. She doubled down about it again, and he looked pissed. Yeah, to me, that is enough for them to move on from her. She is not Kenya more. She is not Theresa Judy J She is a new housewife who some people, like some people don’t, and minus the physical aggression, I do think they probably would try keeping her because she’s got a young family. They want to make young, to show younger, etc, etc. I don’t see her coming back, not only because of what she did, but how she has discussed it afterwards publicly and double down on it. Yeah, and Jen’s definitely out too. I think they’re just like adios to both of them. I don’t want somebody in my physical presence who gets physical repeatedly. I don’t want them on my TV. So back to those kind of these last posts, quote, unquote, Melissa, her post felt a little goodbye ish to me saying, Oh, I’ve been on the show for 14 years, and saying something like, it’s time to keep Jersey moving forward. Did you feel like there was a little bit of a goodbye ish feel to that post, yeah. And her appearance, I watch what happens live, had the same appeal, not same appeal. Had the same approach. You know, maybe she’s preparing for Worst, hoping for best, or maybe, listen, maybe some of them know they’re not coming back, and they’ve said, listen, whichever way we go, just prepare yourself, because you’re not in any of the versions of where we’re going. That could be a possibility. I think certainly Jen knows that in the Gorgas case, I think that they’ll be in the orbit the way that Luanne and Sonia and other people who have left the show. Cynthia wasn’t full time, but she was on a girls trip, and she’ll be she came back as a friend, and that sort of thing. I think they know that there’s no bad blood between the Gorgas and the network, and they’ll still be opportunities for them, whatever that may look like. I don’t know. I I’m interested to see where they go. I don’t believe it’s I, even though somebody told somebody emailed and said it’s a Dallas style pause, which means adios. I don’t believe that. I think their fan base is really wide, and I think that they’re gonna figure something out. I just don’t know what that looks like, but I do think that the tides have turned on Teresa, yeah, yeah, I agree. Let’s move on from Jersey. Saw that there has been some news like we talked about this. I want to say it was last week, and now it seems news outlets are actually talking about it. So there’s some kind of there that there is a show called snow birds that is being filmed in Palm Beach. So for people who aren’t familiar with that term, snow bird is somebody who spends half the year, usually the winter, somewhere warm Lake Florida, and then goes back home to their colder city for the spring and summer when it gets warmer there. This is a very common thing, especially with New York, New Jersey and that kind of Miami Connection. So we were hearing this. I saw Page Six, picked it up. This is not green lit. So what that means is they are filming a pilot that they then are going to shop to networks. And one of my sources, who knows all things Bravo, said that it’s suspicious, because if Bravo were truly seriously considering it, they probably wouldn’t be like, sending pictures. Yeah, I wouldn’t be talked about. There wouldn’t be pictures in page six. These are older wealthy women in South Florida, socialite types, or wannabe socialite, think Jill, zaron and Ramona. So back to what we were saying about the direction of the network. I think it could be fun and kitschy. It also seems like it probably wouldn’t be like PC and like the direction the network is going in. Again, I would watch it. I feel like it wouldn’t be PC. Remember how Ramona got old, but canceled from the network because of her views and the way she doesn’t? Oh, yeah. I feel like if people like Ramona who have zero filter and but I could see a total world where it’s actually like rich and established women who now do not give an F
how being on reality TV affects their lives. Because they’re established. They’ve got their lives. They don’t have to worry about their kids getting kicked out of a school or anything like that. Yes, I agree. Obviously, if it’s a lot of people like Ramona who just, I can see, yeah, of course, that wouldn’t be PC. But if they do, if it’s more Jill zaron types, where they’re just like, loud mouth rich women, but not necessarily.
Necessarily in an offensive way. Yeah, or, or even like a Bethany. Like, Bethany is like that, not that she’s older, but like so Vanderpump, yeah. Oh, like, Aaliyah black, yes, you know people like that, yes, like the black don’t care, right? How, how it’s going to affect their life outside of being on the show, and so they might hopefully be a little bit more real. That’s my hope. Okay, so let’s go, I say, with snowboards snowbirds. Real Housewives of Orange County. I guess I have to start with Alexis Bellino, who I revealed last night on the the zoom. I know we say things stay in the zoom, but I can’t hide my feelings that Alexis is now might be easy, might be crackers. For those of you guys, those you guys know what that means. It’s like no matter what she does. It annoys me. So she has screenshots of Johnny J, Johnny aioli, as we’ve been calling him, transferring money to Shannon and as they’re talking about this lawsuit. So let me get this straight, everybody, Johnny J isn’t filming, right? Alexis Lexi has claimed he offered her the housewife salary she’s receiving to not film yet He is supplying her with screenshots of his financial transactions between him and Shannon when they were dating so much to unpack, first of all, the fact that she’s too dense to say this is how he’s treating his ex girlfriend of a number of years on national television. Maybe he isn’t a great guy, and why is he using me as the vehicle to do this? Yeah, that she’s not seeing that I have a theory, or not necessarily think that this is what’s happening. But my question about this whole situation, right? If Johnny really lent her the money, it should be provable, because if you loan somebody money, you usually do some kind of written note, even if it’s just written on a piece of paper, right? And it’s strange to me that, if he’s got wire transfer receipts, why he wouldn’t have something like that if it was truly alone.
But what I’m wondering is, if he gave her the money and then realized that he would have a tax bill for it, because the IRS limits how much money you can give to another person without having to pay taxes on it. And I’m wondering is this is some kind of weird hair brain plan to both get attention, make her look bad, but also suing her just so he can end up writing that off with the IRS as an unpaid debt so he doesn’t have to pay the taxes. Yeah, I think that theory makes sense. I also think it makes sense that when they were in a relationship, lot of the housewives keep saying, oh, Shannon paid for everything. Maybe she did and then so maybe when it was time for her to get a face lift, he was like, You know what I got it? Oh, your money isn’t liquid. Your next housewives check hasn’t hit the bank yet, and your trust fund and your alimony hasn’t hit the bank yet. You know what I got it? You have me for the last 10 trips. Let’s go away. Here’s $30,000 I’ll pay for it. I’ll put it in your account. And so at the time it was given, they were in a relationship, and it was like, I got you. And now to your point, where’s the contract that it was alone, if there isn’t one? Lucky for Shannon, she is Daddy. Kelly died. Used to call him daddy, big dick with his $80 million
slush fund. And the way her father said it, you better go all in. It’s like her father being like, I didn’t want to give you the $75,000 that you wanted, but I will spend that much to defend you in court. So this guy doesn’t get it. Yeah, yeah. And really, what is Alexis storyline, other than this whole situation, and if he’s so happy with her and she’s so happy with him, why is why are they making her storyline coming at Shannon about all of his gripes, and Alexis herself bringing them to the table as her storyline. So her storyline is being the mouthpiece for her new boyfriend of a couple months grievances with his ex. They’re so happy, but this is her and John’s focus. I don’t I don’t get it. I just can’t with her. I will say I really hate that she and Tamara have been so intent on kicking Shannon when she’s down, or, I guess more accurately, accurately, for kicking her Shannon when she is in the middle of picking herself back up. I don’t understand why there is just no empathy for Shannon.
While we all agree that drinking and driving is unforgivable, giving Shannon some credit for making some queer changes in her life, and at least not just kicking her so hard while she’s down to me, it’s just I don’t get it. And this is the second man that Alexis has been with who sued Shannon bedor. And just to be clear, Tamara and Alexis were never friends. And while Tamara can double down till she’s blue in the face, that it was not Alexis suing her, it was Alexis husband, ex husband. She was never a fan of Alexis. She named her Jesus jugs, so the idea that she actually wants to be friends with Alexis is a joke. This is a storyline for her. She is decided. She has decided Shannon is her storyline, and she’s backing Alexis. And sadly for Tamara, I don’t think it’s going her way where the audience is concerned.
Yeah, I agree. And I do want to say I listened to 2t in a pod, and I remember it was either the day after or the two days after Shannon had her DUI. And having, having been listening in the pod, they didn’t say why, but that Tamara was going to be going away for a while, and that there was that Cynthia from Atlanta, and Emily would be doing some co hosting with Teddy. And I remember that day, Tamara was leaving two film for traders for however long, and they got her to jump on the phone with them last minute. So I think this was in September, and Teddy or and Cynthia or Emily. I can’t remember who it was, asked Tamara for her opinions on and if she knew how Shannon was doing and what Shannon was going to do next. And then on that phone call, Tamara said, Yes, I reach out to her. I’m worried about her. We do have a show planned for Phoenix, but I think she was sounded unclear on whether they were going to be able to do it, that this show was going to be after Tamara got back and on that call, so on that podcast, Tamara showed a lot of empathy and care for Shannon. I think whatever has happened that has gotten Tamra so salty about Shannon happened after Tamra got back from traders. I think what happened was the fan reaction to Shannon was really strong, ourselves included, and we were like, Who does she think she is? How is she continuing to do this show? And I think it was a symbol of Tamara being selfish and not wanting any of the residual effects of the audience’s anger hitting her. And so what she should have done is it’s fine to take a step back and to be like you had this DUI, I had this sympathy, but you’re not treating it in the way that I deem appropriate, and I don’t agree with your choices, so I am taking a step back from you as your friend, right? That’s appropriate, right? Her screaming the way that she did at that dinner when she was already down and Alexis already had the receipts of owing the money and shouting that she’s an alcoholic, and she spoke to her twice, and both times she was drunk. And alcohols alcohol. It’s it was you beat somebody up and then you knock out their teeth. It’s too much vicious Tamara is coming across as self produced. It is evident to me that she only wants to focus on other people’s mess. Be it Shannon, be it Jen, which we saw last season, which we’ll see again, I’m sure, when Ryan gets caught in the baseball scandal. And yes, Shannon has a storyline. And yes, you can have an opinion on it, as the other ladies do, but making it your entire identity turns the fans on you, and it’s obvious, and Tamara’s not getting good feedback, that’s for sure. She miscalculated. She thought everyone was going to be pissed at Shannon. We were, but here I am somebody who never cared for Shannon, finding myself rooting for her, because in what world is it happening that your ex boyfriend and his new girlfriend are coming at you at a table with Tamara backing them up? It’s crazy. It is. It’s like me agreeing with Vicky gunvalson was shocking, like Vicky’s whole I was like, Who is this woman? Yeah, yeah. Oh, please. I really didn’t like, oh, there’s ice women. I’m like, okay, Vicky. I Yeah, all right, okay, get it. When I started wondering, I’m like, I wonder, because there’s this viciousness there with Tamara that I don’t remember seeing to this degree, at least, I’m starting to wonder, is there just do the OGS, but just the vets who have been on the show for a long time? Is there just a level of like jadedness that comes with being on that job for so long? And do you think maybe there should be term limits for housewives?
Just like there are for political offices. That’s funny. I heard Tamara on, oh, I forget whose podcast, but I heard her on a podcast, and she was saying how, speaking about jersey, how the break was the best thing for her, I completely disagree. I think when she was put on break, she was pissed, and when she came back, she is so set on not losing it again. And for her, I think it’s just the money, plain and simple. I think it’s really good money. She does have other successful things that she has obviously been able to have from her platform. She’s been very smart with the vena products and all of that. She wants to keep that check coming as long as she can. She doesn’t care who won the chaos. Likes her or doesn’t like her. She does want to keep the audience wanting to see her, whether they like her or not, and she’s very conscious of that. And we know that because the last time she was cut, she was cut in large part because of the social media backlash saying, Get her off our screens. And I think that it’s not always the case where there should be tenure, I think everything needs to be on a case by case basis. So, no, I don’t think there should be, like, an A written rule, like, after eight seasons, you must have a season or two off. Yeah, you’re right, because it doesn’t necessarily make it better if they come back. Okay, so I know we said we’re going to talk about New York. Do you want to talk about that? Or do you want to talk about that other thing? You and I that email? Or do you want to save that for cocktail? We’ll save the email for cocktail because that’s a cocktail party email. I looked on Uber’s page, she’s 40, no kids, and they said she’s pregnant again. And then they then, like Jaisal says to her mother, she went out with another guy and got pregnant. I would hope no one just would discuss when they say pregnant again. I would hope no one would discuss if she had previously been pregnant, since she doesn’t have any children, could
it be one of these Bravo editing things where it’s about somebody who’s not on the cast, or some nonsense like that? Jessa wants more babies, but she was a part of the conversation, and so was her mother, so it can’t be about her. Speaking of jaded, I’m jaded now that we had that situation with Jersey where there’s a whole fight they show in the preview of the season. And this whole talk, this intimation that Louis is spending all of Teresa’s money, and then we see none of it. And remember a couple seasons ago on winter house when Kyle and Amanda were fighting about him flirting and all of that, and then they never showed any of it. Not a second of him flirting. Not a second of them fighting. Yeah, yeah, we’ll be cautiously optimistic to see. I think there’s so many other things going on. Brynn gets accused of trading sexual favors for jobs. Erin lychee and her husband Abe are sitting at dinner. She says, You’re lying. You’re lying. Gosh, what else is looks like Uber and Brynn are going at it and fighting, what? Oh, we’ve got Rebecca Minkoff. They mentioned Scientology, which I really thought they’d stay away from, and then she goes, No comment. So do they get into we’re getting guys, I have a lot of Roni reboot Intel in cocktail party.
