Ramona Singer has reportedly been cut from this weekend’s BravoCon lineup after using a “partial racial slur” in a text exchange with a Page Six reporter on October 31.
Bravo has yet to comment on the former RHONY star’s apparent removal and hasn’t revealed whether this will impact Peacock’s RHUGT: RHONY Legacy.
I read the text exchange and this is beyond stupid. Go look at the exact exchange as reported by Page Six. Ramona has her faults but she didn’t do anything wrong here.
I read it too, and this is being blown waaaay out of proportion. Ramona is an idiot and was trying to defend herself in her usual moronic way. She should have known better than to text that abbreviated word but this is being misrepresented in a big way. We’ve all seen her doing stupid things repeatedly online (like posting her bank acct numbers), she comes by this idiocy honestly.
Ramona is disgusting for this period. That text exchange lets me know she is not afraid to use this word. I believe the produce in the article that said Ramona said this directly to her. Bravo needs to stop reward poor behavior. There are so many interesting women in New York from all walks of life and I would prefer to hear their stories over her returning to anything. I’m white – I do not defend Ramona – not her use of derogatory racial language. As said – if she’s typing – shes saying. The text isn’t “nothing” – it’s one more item on the list of why she has deep seated issues w believing black people are equal.
Her comments alone on trying to make a point on “black children” and parents are disgusting. She She prob thinks she’s making a “good” point.
