How can you steal from a services business (Beauty Lab) unless it’s not paying your bill? As a customer there, I know from experience that you pay before you leave. So if Beauty Lab allowed more than one appointment to walk out without paying, that’s a little on them and not sure why it would get to the point of suing? For non delinquent payments, you would stop providing the service or at best small claims court. This one seems far fetched.

Agree with you T.R. I get services there when I visit my family in Utah several times a year. You ALWAYS pay when you leave. Doesn’t make sense:

I’m not sure this is about THAT Monica. The lawsuit I found was Beauty Lab against Monica Fowler, and the services were rendered in 2019. Anyone else find one against Monica Garcia?
Haven’t read the lawsuit, but every spa I’ve been to in my area always has a retail portion where the register is. You can buy the products they used on you and fancy soaps and candles and…you know, spa knick knacks. They could mean some of that stuff. I could see monica stuffing her purse full of pricey skincare.
