Producers are looking to spice things up with cast and storylines however, given the season has done well in numbers compared to other franchises, they don’t want to make too many changes.

Also, they are looking to diversify the cast and bring in some ladies from different walks of life.
Gia, wife of DJ Envy and Remy Ma hip-hop rapper are both under consideration. Gia is friends with Teresa, and Remy would be introduced/brought on by Gia. DJ Envy and Gia declined the housewives offer in the past but Teresa has been hanging around them quite a lot as of late. Remy Ma was under consideration for the reboot of RHONY but producers found out she lives in NJ, so this may work for her.
Expect 7 full times wives again, also the new girls are safe for now!

    So we can only have rappers or athletes for diversity in Jersey? As if we don’t have POC here who are successful lawyers or Doctors or business owners. No we go with who the criminal has for us great. Nothing wrong with rappers but seriously Teresa is a caricature and a insult and embarrassment to the state.

    Remy Ma!?!?? ? OMFG I hope this is true. Remy is a straight shooter no bullshit and humble af – she was my fav on LHHNY and I would love to see her go up against some of the NJ women. LORDT! Def manifesting this one ??

    Remy would eat them alive. We need someone like her on the show. She’s one of those, “even if I’m you’re friend, I’ll still tell you if you mess up” types. I hope this is true!

    I’m all for diversity but not for forcing it. I mean… Remy would be entertaining but is she really gonna fit in? We want genuine friendships here.
