If that’s the case then we should expect a defamation lawsuit. I can’t imagine Harry’s publishing team not vetting the book for that specific reason
People “fact checking” HIS memoir, HIS memories is classic. How much would have passed legal in all those books written about him by other people. I hope they make a billion dollars!

The literally idea of a memoir is it’s based one one’s personal experience… and the Royal family are public figures. The burden is on them to show actual malice, a more stringent burden than average citizens. They must prove the writer knowingly published false statements or with reckless disregard. I wouldn’t be worried if I was Harry that’s the last thing the palace wants to engage in
Love how he puts his family on blast and includes intimate details about his brother’s private parts but cries about his privacy being violated and his family leaking things to the press. Also, just because he says things and claims certain things doesn’t mean it happened exactly the way he or his wife say it did. The truth has several sides. Both have been caught telling lies like how their kids were denied titles during the Oprah interview when they weren’t given titles at the time because they were great-grandchildren of the then Queen. I thought they wanted their children to have normal lives like his cousins Zara and Peter and declined titles at Archie’s birth? He sold out his family for cash and cries when his father in law did the same thing.

The comments have strayed from the OP’s “tea” to pro- or anti- Sussex diatribes… to get back on topic: EmilieHRH has been equal parts critical and praiseworthy of all the royal family depending on the issue at hand. But she is indeed fact-checking the memoir in so far as it can be. For instance, Meghan is on film saying the blue sewn into her wedding dress was taken from the dress she wore on their first date but Harry’s memoir states she wore jeans, a black sweater, and heels. During the infamous Oprah interview they said it was Kate who made Meghan cry (contrary to what the papers were reporting) but Harry writes in his book that Meghan did in fact make Kate cry first with the baby-brain comment. They’ve said repeatedly in interviews, Netflix, and his memoir that the “firm” refused to put out statements in Meghan’s defense, and Emilie has posted I think about a dozen headlines of statements the palace made refuting previous reports in the time since their relationship was made public until they moved to North America. There’s also other meetings and timelines she points out as being factually incorrect in his memoir. Nobody can fact-check how an author of memoir describes their thoughts or feeling on their life events but there’s plenty that can be verified and Emilie is arguing that when you take all the inaccuracies as a whole it’s obvious they are deliberate to craft a certain narrative and her argument is that is to maintain the victim narrative that is driving their current income.
