Lots of you requested! It’s super easy. I just use dough from supermarket or pizzeria. Frozen dough defrosted works best.
Simple and so delish. Key is thin dough and thin layer of salami and cheese.
How to make
- STEP 1 Let the Dough rise!! Roll out bread dough on lightly floured surface to 12-inch square. Place on lightly greased baking sheet.
- STEP 2THIN layer of salami and cheese of choice ( I use Genoa Salami, Calabrese (Spicy_Calabrese”Calabrese”) Salami or soppresata & provolone, one slice of each. I do not like a lot of meat in my bread but it is preference) down center of dough too to bottom.
- STEP 3 Fold over. Pinch dough at bottom and top to seal.
- STEP 4. Combine egg and water in bowl; brush over bread. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.
- STEP 5 Heat oven to 350°F.
- STEP 6 Bake 25-35 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from baking sheet; cool 10 minutes. Cut into slices.
