Shannon Beador is mourning the loss of her beloved golden retriever, Archie, after his recent brain cancer diagnosis.

The “Real Housewives of Orange County” star shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram Thursday, May 14, revealing that Archie died the day before.

“Heaven has a new special angel,” Shannon wrote alongside a photo of Archie smiling on the beach.

The image also included three dove emojis above Archie’s head.

Shannon revealed that Archie had been diagnosed with brain cancer just over a week before his death and had been advised to begin radiation treatment.

“For the last 10 years, Archie wasn’t just my dog — he was my constant comfort, protector, best friend and truly the real ‘man’ in my life,” Shannon wrote.

She added that Archie supported her through every major moment in her life.

“Through all the ups and downs, every good time and every heartache, Archie was right there by my side,” she shared.

“Never judging me and always giving pure, loyal, and unconditional love.”

Shannon said she and her daughters — Sophie, 24, and twins Stella and Adeline, 21 — are “heartbroken” over the loss.

The reality star shares her daughters with ex-husband David Beador.

Archie Became a Fan Favorite on RHOC

Bravo fans watched Archie grow up during Shannon’s time on “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” where the dog frequently appeared throughout the series.

Shannon acknowledged how much viewers connected with Archie over the years.

“Bravo fans are no strangers to Archie’s gentle heart and sweet soul,” she wrote.

“I am grateful so many fans had the chance to watch Archie grow up.”

Archie’s popularity even earned him a BravoCon award in 2025 for Best Animal Appearance.
