Lawsuit against med spa

Brian Pontarelli is a podiatrist in North Providence, with a medical spa attached to the practice.

In late October, there was a lawsuit filed against him. A licensed practitioner sued him, his business, and an employee there.

The suit states in 2023, the plaintiff partnered with Pontarelli and another woman to develop, invest in, own and operate the North Providence med spa, RI Aesthetics.

The lawsuit claimed the defendants breached their joint partnership agreement, among other messy details, including that the plaintiff had to constantly defend her license and advocate for proper medical spa practices.

She claimed the business owes her over $100,000.

** unclear if the woman suing is the mistress but possible!
