Margaret Josephs is officially saying goodbye to “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.” After seven seasons on the Bravo hit, the longtime cast member confirmed she is moving on from the franchise.

Margaret shared the news directly with fans on her official Instagram, explaining that the decision has been in the works for months.

“HI guys, it’s the Marge. I’m dialing in,” Margaret began. “I have to tell you something that might come as a little surprise to you, but not for me.”

The reality star explained that discussions with Bravo leadership started late last year.

“I’ve been thinking about a lot of different things, and I am moving on from the Housewives of New Jersey,” she said. “Sorry, I don’t look a little more glamorous for you. I’ve been in the talks with the network and Andy Cohen since December. We’ve discussed it, and I think the timing is right.”

Margaret also hinted that her life has changed in recent months and that she’s focusing on other priorities.

“I’m on the set right now, and I realized I have to spend more time with my family, work on my designing, and just take a break and move on,” she said.

Before signing off, Margaret thanked the people who helped shape her time on the show.

“I also wanted to say I want to thank NBCUniversal, Bravo, Andy, our production company, my cast — the good and the bad — I really do love you all,” she shared. “I’m very grateful for this opportunity.”

But Margaret made it clear that fans haven’t seen the last of her on television.

“This will not be the last you guys see of me on television. That’s not a threat, it’s a promise. And I’m excited for all the new opportunities.”

Bravo & Cocktails Already Told Fans a RHONJ Cast Shake-Up Was Coming

Her exit comes as major changes appear to be happening around “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.”

As we previously revealed that the franchise’s future is expected to be discussed during the NBC Upfronts presentation. According to the tip, Teresa Giudice, Dolores Catania, and Melissa Gorga are expected to attend the event.

Meanwhile, another familiar face could return to stir things up. Bravo and Cocktails also reported that Kim DePaola, known to fans as Kim D, is in talks to appear as an official “Friend Of” in a potential season 15.

Kim reportedly has strong ties to Teresa, Melissa, and Dolores and may also be helping introduce new faces to the cast as producers explore the next chapter of the long-running Jersey series.

With Margaret stepping away and possible new additions being discussed, it looks like the Garden State drama could soon enter a new era.
