Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor are moving forward with a structured co-parenting plan for their son, Cruz.

The former “Vanderpump Rules” stars finalized a custody and support agreement for their 4-year-old son, according to court documents obtained by TMZ. The agreement outlines how the pair will divide parenting responsibilities and includes specific rules about alcohol and drug use while caring for their child.

While Cartwright and Taylor ended their marriage, the documents show the reality stars have worked out detailed guidelines designed to keep their shared custody arrangement as amicable as possible.

Brittany Cartwright & Jax Taylor Agree to Joint Custody of Cruz

Brittany and Jax agreed to joint legal custody of Cruz, meaning both parents will share responsibility for major decisions regarding their son’s life.

The agreement states the former couple will jointly decide matters related to Cruz’s health, education, and overall welfare. However, if the two cannot agree on a medical decision, Cartwright will have the final say.

The custody schedule shows Cartwright will spend more time with Cruz. Taylor will have parenting time every other weekend and on Wednesday nights.

The court documents also note that neither parent will pay child support. Instead, each will cover expenses related to Cruz while he is in their care.

‘The Valley’ Stars Arrangement Includes Rules for Co-Parenting

The custody agreement also includes several guidelines to maintain a stable environment for Cruz.

Cartwright and Taylor agreed that neither parent will be under the influence of alcohol, marijuana, or any illegal drugs while their son is in their custody.

The agreement also sets boundaries regarding future relationships. Both parents must wait six months before introducing Cruz to a new significant other.

In addition, Cartwright and Taylor created a holiday schedule and stated they will attempt to celebrate Cruz’s birthdays together when possible.
The documents also show the former couple agreed not to speak negatively about each other in front of their son.

Brittany Cartwright & Jax Taylor’s Relationship Timeline

Brittany and Jax first met while appearing on the Bravo series “Vanderpump Rules.” The couple dated for several years before getting married in 2019.

They welcomed their son Cruz in 2021.

Cartwright filed for divorce in 2024 while Taylor was receiving treatment for mental health issues. Taylor later shared that he had been receiving care for bipolar disorder and PTSD.

Taylor has also said that ending the marriage was necessary because their relationship had become toxic. Or as we like to say, he had become a holy terror to his estranged wife.

Brittany returns for season 3 of “The Valley” in April.
