As is tradition with the franchise, the cast already comes with a little intrigue. People reports that contestant Clayton Johnson was previously engaged to singer Lana Del Rey before the two split. The timeline of their breakup has not been publicly detailed.

ABC’s casting bio describes Clayton asa true Southern gentleman who just hasn’t found the right one yet.The bio adds,This talented musician is searching for a love that’s loyal, nurturing, and built to last a lifetime.”

It continues,Clayton calls himself a lover boy and is ready to write love songs for the woman of his dreams. He’s beyond excited to meet Taylor and has romantic surprises already planned for her.”

Outside of reality TV, Taylor shares two children with ex-husband Tate Paul and one son with ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen — meaning any suitor will need to embrace her role as a mom.

Season 22 ofThe Bachelorettepremieres Sunday, March 22, at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
