Former RHOBH Star Lisa Rinna Says Bravo Took Action Over Her Online Behavior

Lisa Rinna has never been accused of staying quiet — and according to her new memoir, that may have come with a serious price tag.

“In You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It,” the former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star opens up about behind-the-scenes moments from her time on the show, including one incident she says forced her to rethink everything.

Gibson Johns, host of the “Gabbing with Gib” podcast, revealed that he got an early listen to the audiobook and teased that the prologue alone delivers “pretty good tea” about Rinna’s time on “RHOBH.” The memoir is scheduled for release on February 24, 2026.

In the opening chapter, Lisa recounts filming one of her very first scenes alongside Eileen Davidson and Brandi Glanville. The three met at a restaurant, but before cameras rolled, Brandi had reportedly been on the phone with a producer for hours. According to Rinna’s retelling, the producer felt the show was “boring.”

Brandi then arrived and famously threw a glass of wine at Eileen — a moment that quickly became part of Housewives lore.

Lisa describes herself in the book as a “truth teller,” but admits that being outspoken sometimes created friction. She writes that her “impulsive opinions on Instagram” landed her in serious trouble with the network — to the tune of $50,000.

She does not shy away from acknowledging that this incident played a role in her decision to step away from RHOBH. While she says she loved filming for most of her run, she admits the experience shifted in her final year.

“It was a good time, until it wasn’t,” she writes.
