Amanda Frances is clearing the air on several heated moments from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” including her emotional run-in with Dorit Kemsley, comments about Jennifer Tilly, and castmates questioning her business.

The Bravo newcomer spoke with Decider about the season so far, admitting she “naive[ly]” believed joining the group would be easier than it turned out to be.

Dorit Kemsley Confrontation Hits on a Painful Day for Frances

Things came to a head after Sutton Stracke told Dorit that Amanda had allegedly criticized Dorit’s estranged husband, PK Kemsley. Dorit confronted Amanda during a group dinner — despite Amanda explaining that it was the anniversary of her son’s passing.

“When she opened her mouth at dinner and I could tell something accusatory was coming at me, my heart started beating really fast,” Amanda said. “I thought, ‘I can’t do this right now, and I’m not in a place to do this.’”

Amanda shared that Dorit brought up the issue twice, even after she explained the significance of the day.

“I had to tell her twice what the day was,” she said. “And by the second time, when she kept talking about it, I just felt like I shouldn’t be there. It doesn’t feel respected.”

Amanda added that confusion over Dorit’s accusations recurs throughout the season.

“I mean, you’ll see me explain over and over, ‘I wasn’t talking about you. I had nothing bad to say about you,’she explained.

She also noted Dorit never reached out after the dinner or after the episode aired.

Amanda Frances Talks Jennifer Tilly Comments and RHOBH Cast Business Shade

Amanda also addressed Erika Jayne’s remark that Amanda is too young to know who Jennifer Tilly is.

“I didn’t know, and I said that to Jennifer, and Jennifer wasn’t fazed by it,” Amanda said. “She’s one of my favorite people, but I just didn’t place her.”

She then reacted to castmates questioning her career, saying she was “flabbergasted” by the criticism.

“I have a 15-year career of creating and selling digital courses, online training programs on various things and people loving their results,” she said. “On every single sales page, there are hundreds of testimonials.”

She continued, “There are hundreds of comments from people saying, ‘This course changed my life.’ … The fact that we can’t handle a woman being successful.”

Amanda also called out Boz Saint John, pointing out the disconnect between their off-camera conversation and Boz’s confessional.

“When Boz, Dorit, and I went to lunch earlier in the season, we talked about my business a little bit. She seemed to very much understand it,” Amanda said. “Then in the confessional, it was a frou-frou mess.”

She added, “You said Amen to me as I gave your friend money advice. What was that?”
