Porsha Williams entered “The Traitors” season 4 with confidence — and left the castle fast.

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star became the first Faithful contestant banished on the new season of Peacock’s hit reality competition after other players incorrectly suspected she was a Traitor. Although Williams was the first Faithful to be banished, she was the second overall contestant to leave, following “Big Brother” alum Ian Terry, who was murdered earlier in episode 2.

“The personality has left the building,” Williams declared after her departure.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter the day after her banishment aired, Williams said she felt disappointed by how quickly her time on the show ended.

“It was a missed opportunity for the fans to be able to see what I was bringing to the show, what I was bringing to the game,” Williams said on a Zoom call. “I just feel like I was cheated. Justice for Porsha — because the way that played out, it was very triggering.”

The RHOA Star Says Misunderstandings With Ron Funches Sparked Suspicion

Williams’ banishment grew out of episode 2 conversations that spiraled into suspicion at the roundtable. During the episode, she had several moments of misunderstanding while speaking with comedian Ron Funches and Donna Kelce — who, spoiler alert, is a Traitor and was also heavily suspected during the roundtable.

In the edit, Williams appeared to reference killing Terry — or a Traitor — in the first person, and Funches used that to present her as a potential Traitor.

Williams said she did not expect anything to turn on her heading into the banishment vote.

“I honestly went into the roundtable not suspecting anything was coming towards me at all,” she explained. “So when Ron laid out his case, I was like, ‘That doesn’t really make any sense, but OK, let’s see how everyone else is going to take this.’”

“There were a couple factors that were happening at the same time,” she added.

Porsha Williams Believes Housewives Get Targeted on ‘The Traitors’

Williams is far from the first Bravolebrity to get axed early on “The Traitors.” Multiple seasons have seen “Real Housewives” stars either murdered or banished quickly, and fans have repeatedly suggested there’s an anti-Housewives bias in the game.

Williams said she believes the pattern is real.

“If you’ve watched other seasons, they always hunt the Housewives,” Williams said.

She said her pre-show plan was to stick close to other Housewives and build an alliance early.

“We got to go through this together. If I ever need an ally, I’ll have a Housewife,” she said, describing her initial mindset.

But according to Williams, the betrayal came from inside the Bravo bubble — and that changed everything.

Porsha Williams Calls Out Housewife Betrayals Involving Candiace Dillard Bassett and Lisa Rinna

Williams claimed she didn’t expect fellow Housewives to turn on her so early — and she specifically named Candiace Dillard Bassett and Lisa Rinna as key factors in her game unraveling.

“I never expected for a Housewife [Candiace Dillard Bassett] to lie to me out the gate, set me up, use me as a pawn to get back at Michael [Rapaport],” Williams said. “I never expected Lisa [Rinna] to aim at me and vote for me for no good reason.”

Williams said she had suspicions about Dillard Bassett, particularly after it was revealed that Dillard Bassett had lied about Rapaport, but Williams held back because she believed the Housewives would stick together.

“I didn’t bring it up because, what do you do?” Williams said. “We’re supposed to be in a Housewife alliance of sisterhood, so I was going to give her the benefit of the doubt.”

Williams said Rinna voting for her at the first roundtable shifted her entire approach to the game.

“If a person like Lisa would sell you up the river for no good reason… she could have voted for anybody and threw away her vote instead of voting for a fellow Housewife at the first roundtable,” Williams said. “I think that was very dirty.”

Porsha Says ‘For the Record, I Did Not Misspeak’

While other contestants suggested Williams’ banishment came down to confusing phrasing, she pushed back hard on the idea that she misspoke — and suggested editing may have played a role in how it looked.

“For the record, I did not misspeak,” Williams said.

She explained what she says actually happened in the moment that raised suspicion.

“This was my whole sentence, which in the beginning you didn’t hear for whatever reason,” she said, before recalling what she meant: “‘OK, guys, we have to figure this out. Let’s think like a Traitor. If I’m a traitor, we killed Ian night one…’”

Williams said she was “working through it out loud,” not confessing.

“I’m not going to let this go down in history as Porsha misspeaking because that is not the case,” she said. “Two-hundred sixty-five Porsha did not clock into Traitors. Porsha Williams 2.0 clocked in. I came to handle business.”
