Kathy Hilton is already weighing in on the newest “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, Amanda Frances, and her first impression may surprise fans. Amanda, the money expert who now lives in Kyle Richards’ former home, joins season 15 as a full-time diamond holder—and according to Kathy, her entrance wasn’t exactly seamless.
Kathy spoke with Entertainment Tonight at BravoCon 2025, where she previewed the upcoming season and shared early thoughts on the new additions. Amanda is one of three high-profile newcomers joining the cast, alongside Rachel Zoe and Natalie Swanston Fuller.
Kathy Hilton Shares Her First Impressions of Amanda Frances
When the interviewer asked about the new Housewives, Kathy initially offered an enthusiastic response. “Well, Rachel and I go way back, and she’s like part of our family,” she said. “Love her, and the other two girls, I really, really, really like.”
She continued, “I don’t think you’ve met Natalie, but you will love her. And Amanda is lovely as well.”
However, the interviewer didn’t let Kathy off easy. They pointed out that Erika Jayne shared a very different take in the season 15 trailer, insisting “something’s off” with Amanda. When pressed, Kathy offered a more candid answer.
“Well, Amanda honestly was a little annoying in the beginning,” she admitted. “But then you know, I just, I really like her.”
It may hint at a bumpy start for Amanda, but if Kathy’s final opinion is any indication, the newest diamond holder finds her footing as the season unfolds.
Season 15 of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” premieres Tuesday, December 4 at 8/7c on Bravo, with new episodes available to stream the next day on Peacock.
