It’s a “Family Karma” baby! Amrit Kapai and Nicholas Kouchoukos officially became parents, welcoming their daughter Anya Iris Kapai-Kouchoukos into the world.
‘Family Karma’ Stars Amrit and Nicholas Share the Sweet Announcement
The couple shared the emotional moment in a video from Cartagena, where they first met baby Anya. The clip, paired with a cover of Madonna’s “Like A Prayer,” shows the pair holding their daughter for the first time.
“Miracles do happen. We promise to be your everything, Anya 🙏🏽🤍🪽,” they wrote in the caption.
Amrit and Nicholas first shared their baby news back in May with People, revealing they were expecting via surrogate. “Well, we’re certainly excited to become official daddies!” they said at the time. “Jokes aside, we’re thrilled for this new chapter. Becoming parents as a same-sex couple is deeply meaningful for us — not only because we’ve dreamed of starting a family, but also because it represents love, resilience, and progress.”
The Bravoverse quickly flooded the comments with love. “She is perfect!!!!! 💕 Welcome to the world baby doll! I can’t wait to spoil you rotten!” Bali Chainani wrote. Monica Vaswani, Margaret Josephs, Heather Gay, Garcelle Beauvais, Guerdy Abraira, and more joined in congratulating the new dads.
Anya’s arrival came just before Diwali, something Monica celebrated with a sweet nod to tradition.
