After hinting on Jeff Lewis’ radio show that she might be open to making peace with her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, an insider told OK! what’s really driving the sudden shift.
“Teresa is getting desperate and, obviously, worried given the developments that have happened surrounding RHONJ,” the source shared.
“This is absolutely someone who despises her brother and Melissa, but, realizing she might not have a job, she is considering throwing in the towel and making amends with them.”
The insider didn’t mince words, adding: “She’s made her feelings on them well known both publicly and privately for years. But money talks, as does the risk of losing her prominent status on the show … she will do anything she needs to do to remain on the show.”
Fans have noticed that Bravo may be shifting focus toward Melissa, Margaret Josephs, and Dolores Catania. And according to the source, Teresa wouldn’t be “groveling” if she was guaranteed center star status.
When pressed by Jeff about whether she could see herself coexisting with Melissa, Joe Gorga, and Margaret, Teresa didn’t completely shut the door. “Never say never,” she said.
Even her daughter, Gia, admitted that viewers “would want to see that” after years of feuding. Still, longtime RHONJ fans know that forgiveness has never been Teresa’s brand. If she really does try to mend fences, it might just be Bravo survival mode talking.
