David Beador’s love life is starting to feel like one long game of legal ping-pong. The 60-year-old ex-husband of “Real Housewives of Orange County” star Shannon Beador has once again called off his divorce from his current wife, Lesley Beador.

According to Us Weekly, David filed papers on August 14 to dismiss his petition for divorce—just two months after accusing Lesley of abuse and demanding the court keep her 100 yards away. A judge signed off, making the dismissal official.

If this sounds familiar, that’s because it is. David admitted in filings that he and Lesley have a history of filing, dismissing, and refiling divorce petitions, as well as exchanging restraining orders. “Lesley and I have had many ups and downs in our marital relationship,” he wrote in a declaration, adding that in his view, “it’s not just a cliché that Lesley married me for my money. In our case it is a fact.”

The couple wed in October 2020 and share one daughter, Anna Love, born in 2021.

David Beador’s Second Marriage Has Been Full of Abuse Allegations and Restraining Orders

Prior to this latest dismissal, David had accused Lesley of physically abusing him. In June, he detailed an alleged incident where he claimed she gouged skin from his arm and slapped him multiple times. The court granted a temporary restraining order at the time, but David dropped it a month later.

Lesley has also accused David of being verbally abusive and jealous, telling the court in 2024 that he created a “hostile environment” in their home. He denied her claims.

The pair’s on-again, off-again battles have raised eyebrows among Bravo fans, especially since David’s messy exit from his 17-year marriage to Shannon played out on RHOC. Shannon, now 61, and David share three adult daughters.

At this point, one thing is clear: while Shannon’s chaos remains firmly on Bravo, David’s seems destined to stay in court filings.
