Paige DeSorbo is taking a well-earned breather from the Bravo world. In a new interview, the “Summer House” alum, 32, opened up about her decision to walk away from reality TV after seven years in front of the cameras.
“Reality TV was so fun, and I feel like I was the perfect age to do “Summer House” and what the vibe was,” DeSorbo told People. “I would never say never, but I think coming off of it after seven years, I would love a break.”
While she didn’t rule out a return entirely, she made it clear it’s not happening anytime soon. “But again,” she added, “I would never say never.”
The “Giggly Squad” podcast host also shared her excitement about spending more time with her family this summer. After a recent family trip to Italy, which she described as “the most relaxing” two weeks, DeSorbo said she’s excited to enjoy time in Albany, New York.
“I really haven’t been able to go home a lot during the summer,” she said. “So, I’m actually very excited to spend a couple of weekends in Albany with my family [and] go to some places that I never get the chance to this summer.”
And as for the Hamptons? DeSorbo is ready for something new. “I might take a break from the Hamptons,” she said. “I know the vibe. I’ve done it.”
Paige DeSorbo Moves On From Craig Conover With Joe D’Amelio
In addition to her Bravo break, Paige is embracing a new relationship. According to Us Weekly, the “Summer House” star is now officially dating Joe D’Amelio.
“Paige has been quietly dating Joe D’Amelio for a while now, and things between them are going really well,” a source told the outlet. “It took a few months for Paige to warm up to being in another relationship again, but she moved on after Craig and is genuinely happy.”
DeSorbo announced her split from “Southern Charm” star Craig Conover, 36, in December 2024, revealing that the breakup actually happened over Thanksgiving weekend.
“She’s in a totally different headspace now,” the insider said. “Joe is a breath of fresh air for her. He’s calm, grounded and much more low-key, which is exactly what Paige needed.”
Although she hasn’t hard-launched her new boyfriend on Instagram, DeuxMoi previously shared a photo of the pair walking together in Capri, Italy. Some fans also speculated that Joe may have been the mystery man seen with DeSorbo at a Philadelphia Eagles game earlier this year.
“He’s already met her family, and they really like him,” the source confirmed. “It’s a different kind of relationship, and Paige is embracing that. She is having a lot of fun. Friends have seen a different side of Paige and can tell she is really happy right now.”
