Season 2 of The Valley may have wrapped filming, but the off-screen drama is far from over. Danny Booko and his wife, Nia Sanchez Booko, recently spoke to Variety and revealed that Jax Taylor wasn’t just stirring the pot on camera — he was allegedly plotting behind the scenes.
“I heard he was talking to people to bring [my past incident] back up for the show,” Danny said, referring to an off-camera moment in which he drunkenly touched castmates Jasmine Goode and Melissa Marie at a Halloween party. Believing he had already addressed the issue, Danny says he confronted Jax directly.
“He blew up,” Danny recalled. “He was like, ‘You guys got off easy in the first season, and the second season I’m coming after you and putting a target on your back! You and Nia are fake!’”
While Taylor apologized during the reunion, Danny admitted, “I’m trying to have your back, and all you’re doing is stabbing mine.”
Nia and Danny Reflect on a ‘Hard Summer’ and Look Ahead to Season 3
In the same interview, Danny shared that the summer was emotionally taxing, particularly due to tension with castmates Jason and Janet Caperna, who continuously brought up the drinking situation on camera. Again and again and again.
“Lies — just malicious, vindictive behavior from some people that I really cared about and thought were my friends,” he said. “Whether they’re doing it for the show or a storyline or attention or whatever, it’s just like: You don’t do that. This is real life.”
Despite the drama, both Bookos said they would return for season 3. “I just hate feeling things left unsettled,” Danny said. Nia, who gave birth to their fourth child earlier this month, added that she wants to continue being part of the group’s evolving dynamic, especially alongside Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick as they all embrace new parenthood.

I’m so sick of this narrative being pushed about Danny. It’s disgusting and real rich coming from Jax. Mr Fake rehab.
