She shouldn’t have a “why”. She should just apologize and own up to letting toxic behavior slide, is not something she should have ever done. I don’t want to hear, “I’m sorry but” or “I’m sorry I did this. I did because”. No. It’s not as genuine. She just needs to apologize and learn from this and not keep doing it
