154. The Valley Season 2 Premiere; Atlanta Aftermath; Bethanny’s talking about us

The Valley is back and there’s so much to discuss. Cocktailers will see the Jax and Brittany tea we’ve been talking about play out right in front of us. Same with the Michelle and Jesse post-separation/divorce situation. Janet tries to make peace with Kristen, and we’re right there with Kristen that we could see right through her “apology”. We go on a tangent about couples – is it possible to have one spouse be awful and the other to be a legitimately nice person? The Atlanta aftermath is heavy. And did Porsha really, truly, believe that Simon was 100% legit? Last but not least, our post went viral and Bethenny Frankel had something to say about it. .

What’s up? Cocktailers. Hello, Amanda. No guests this week. Just us. Hi. V, hi cocktailers. So B, I think she mentioned this on the podcast. She is on vacation with her family and all of New York, all of New York. So you guys know, I come down to South Florida a lot, and everybody we know does. It’s so funny, it’s so fun, but it’s just chaos. As an example, my cousin got a reservation for dinner tonight for 45 people. 45 people. 45 we’re having a wedding tonight. Oh, my God, and that’s probably including kids. We have a condo down here. My cousins have a condo down here. Friends of ours have a place close by. We have some friends that live here full time, because, you know, a lot of New Yorkers, especially post covid, did the Florida move? Yeah. And then we have friends who come down and rent this week. So Easter and Passover a little off. So depending on whose kids are in Catholic, whose kids are in public, some got down here earlier, but now is the crossover days where public and private and Catholic are off. So everybody we ever met, so I’m recording, and if I looked out my window to the beach. It’s my entire neighborhoods down there. I told my husband, I’m like, we’re gonna have to find the spot, but not tell anyone. Do you ever when you’re in like these situations? Do you ever like, feel like you and your husband just want to get away, or even just like you and your immediate family when I go somewhere, like, farther, a little farther away, so you’re not seeing everybody and talking to everybody we you know me, I’m very social, yeah? The things that stress me, because we do, if my husband and I can, like, walk away a couple doors down there’s a really nice hotel and get a drink and get lunch with the kids. It’s not like people are like, chained to us, yeah? But what becomes stressful for me is, like dinners, because my cousin, like, basically booked a room way ahead of time for everybody, and we’re doing, like a price fix. They were basically having a wedding in Florida. But just like casual things, it’s okay. So even if we combine three of the families, we’re at like, 15 to 20 people? Oh, for sure. And then it’s like, people’s parents are down here. We’ve been, like, doing our own things for dinner, or, like, meeting up, but not but it’s, listen, it’s all fun. The kids have friends, so that’s the good thing. Like, we don’t have to worry about entertaining them, yeah. Oh, and then my son’s camp friends have place here.
Years that they came, and they’re like, Wait, why are you so many people? We’re like, we told everyone we know we were coming. And, well, people from New York are laughing because they know South Florida is basically like New York City adjacent. It’s I find that to be absolutely true. As somebody who did not grow up in New York, I and has spent a ton of time in Florida, but on the Gulf Coast, I feel like not even west of the Mississippi, but like west of the Atlantic. Seaboard people go to the Gulf Coast right for trips, and then New Yorkers seaboard folks go to the east coast of Florida. Totally. I might be wrong, but we it is fine. People are now like, doing the west coast, but traditionally we are like, Boca Fort Lauderdale, Miami. Yeah, I get it, especially since you have your family has a place there. Yes, it’s great. Okay, so I know you have been busy eating dinner with 45 people every night. What are you wearing the wedding? By the way, I have and I’m gonna post these guys. I got an M I’m gonna send it to you, Amanda. This is perfect. Amanda loves Mexico. It’s such a perfect dress. I wore it last night. But I get stuff on Amazon now that I post the links, I order so many things that listen, some of the stuff you guys know is trash, and you put it on, you’re like, I’m wearing a moo, moo. And some of the stuff, you’re like, Oh my God. And I feel like it’s getting better and better. I got the cutest set from Amazon, and it’s just like a black T shirt, short sleeve, t shirt and skirt felt super comfortable for travel. And I want to say the whole set was like 35 bucks. And I’m like, I can’t make too many false moves in this meaning, like, if I were to do something to really stretch out the waistband, I don’t think it would. Well, that’s it looks great on that’s it. Yeah, yeah. So one of my, one of my Amazon dresses, I’m gonna post them, because I have a bunch of cute All right, but we gotta I did watch the valley. Okay, good. So let’s start with I watched the valley, and I watched Atlanta and I saw most of summer house. So we’re good. Okay, good. So all of the intel that we had been given during filming last summer is all playing out in front of our eyes. We see exactly, literally what we were told and that we shared, obviously, with you guys, with the cocktails. I just want to give a shout out to cocktails. which, by the way, also, we’ve had somebody, I won’t say what it’s about. I won’t say anything more than that, but we had somebody dropping some local knowledge about a housewife and her family this week on Discord. Oh, we have to talk about that on cocktail pod, because I’m behind on Discord. Yeah. We also have somebody at a resort with a beloved house life. I haven’t even posted it yet. I will before this airs. I don’t know that you’ve seen it yet, and we’re gonna confirm that in cocktail party. And this one is really exciting, oh, really like you’re gonna shriek, I’m gonna take my headphones off when I deliver it. Okay. Oh, good. All right, stay tuned for the bonus pod next week, guys. So literally, everything we had been talking about and shared we’re seeing so Brittany says to Jax, I’m filing right away. I’m getting full custody of Cruz. And then you see Kristen saying to Jax in his kitchen, their kitchen. How is this not rock bottom. You’re not allowed to be allowed around cruise by yourself. And how is this not rock bottom? And then you see the guys saying stuff, and we’ll talk more about that, Danny and Leah, Danny and yeah, at lunch, saying that ever since separation, Jax has been in a spiral. We definitely can see how serious this is. We know that he is going to go to rehab, which I don’t know if he called it rehab at the time, but he went to get help. You can see how serious this all is, and what really led to that decision, and how explosive. And we didn’t see him actually throw the table, but obviously they spoke about it, and the irrational, unpredictable behavior, and my heart really watching it is sinking for Britney, and I’m really sick of people saying she knows what she married. I don’t think that’s fair, because I I feel like every time we talk about it, we say this, but there was a period of time when they married and after where he really was doing.
The whole married family dad thing, yeah. And it was when he got back on television that he really started to spiral. So yeah. And if I want to say that now, there is a child, and her child is witnessing it and experiencing it, and thank God Britney got herself and her child out of that situation, yeah, because especially any. No child should be around that. But a child with autism, I think you know, the sensory is a more sensitive issue exactly. I do want to say kind of building on what you were saying about she knows what she married. I don’t really want to hear anybody in our community saying, Why didn’t she leave sooner? I think that is victim blaming, and I think it takes a lot of guts to leave a situation like that. Whether you’re in a just not married and boyfriend girlfriend situation, you’re married, you have children like the poker chips keep piling up right as you’re having and it makes it that much harder to leave. And especially knowing that Jax wouldn’t leave the house, my heart really went out to her when she said, and our son is autistic, His home is really everything, and Jax is such a selfish fill in the blank that he wouldn’t leave the house, and then she has to go and stay in rental houses that are unfamiliar situation for her autistic child, that, to me, says everything we need to know about how badly she wanted out and how hard it was because you would think, Oh, you the guy loves this kid. He would he knows he is better off at home, and I should be the one to leave. But no. And then we get to Jack seeing saying to Jesse that Britney had been planning. They had been talking about moving back in to work on their marriage. And then he found messages from his friend, Julian and Brittany. She was sending him sexy videos, apparently. Meantime, guys, we will all remember this was exactly the same time that Jax was publicly walking around every week with a different only fans, model, making out with them, having them at his bar. And so we had posted that Britney hooked up with his friend Julian in cocktail party months later, la la and Sheena both confirmed it on their pods. It was not Jax, his best friend. It was somebody that they all mutually know. One of the girls dated him. Maybe it was la la, I think it was Lala. And not that Lala was mad about it. It was like a hook, yeah, like, whatever, yeah, so Britney’s hooking up, and he finds a way to make himself a victim. He threw a table at her. That is domestic violence. And clearly, since it was the actual incident wasn’t filmed, but the reactions to the incident was filmed. That is why he went to get treatment. He has to cover for his behavior. It’s so disturbing. And I think his conversation with Schwartz, who very rarely takes things seriously, really hit home for me, at least, yeah, and it’s hard to tell what the timing on everything is, because I want to say he went it was pretty close to when they started filming that he went into treatment, I think so it’s hard to tell. Like, maybe when some of these conversations are happening. I was watching this last night, and with the Jax and Jesse conversation that happened at Jackson’s house, I’m like, is this the conversation they have before they go and get in the car and he and Jesse drives them to rehab, and I don’t know if we don’t know if we it’s hard to know, like with the editing, but during a supposedly sober time, during his confessional, so well after this incident, and I it’s hard to know if he had been at treatment yet. But Jack says, Show me a guy talking about throwing the table. Show me a guy who wouldn’t have done the same every guy I know in my life, yeah, you’re What the I just him justifying his domestic violence is just a whole nother level of growth, how much he is just, he’s just so self centered and just projecting on, really, on everybody else. Yeah, it is interesting that we also are seeing Jesse and Michelle going through their post split and mid divorce situation. So we see Jesse at home with Isabella putting eyeshadow on her, and we see Isabel in the car with Michelle, and Michelle saying, You’re too young for eyeshadow. Those things are her like very normal co parenting, right? Little things. Jesse also says he’s now in a relationship, although I forget what he said he went through a phase or something like that. For the record.
The woman he’s seeing did not want to film, yeah, which makes me respect her, by the way. In stark comparison to Michelle’s boyfriend, who not only wanted to film, but was pressuring, I believe he got a check. He wanted to be paid. He wants to be on TV, yeah, I I have some things about him here that I want to talk about in a second, but I’m right there with you on that it definitely, we’re definitely seeing those two starting to move on and navigate this new world of co parenting and okay, we can’t compare anything to the Jax and Britney because theirs is so explosive and violent and substance induced because of Jax has now admitted that he had a cocaine problem. Jesse and Michelle is much more cutting and manipulative, and these little comments that they make about each other and to each other, it’s not like anybody’s throwing tables, but it’s still rough and it’s still contentious. They both are vengeful towards each other. We’re gonna see a lot of stuff unfold. We started to see it this episode. I think it’s interesting, because it is very normal for people who go through divorce and have kids to still have to be in situations together. There are children’s games or even social events for their kids school, but the added layer of them all being in the same group of friends, and let’s just call it for what it is, I’m all being on the same show that I think ratchets all of that drama up like 20 notches. Totally.

So speaking of just crazy situation with co parenting at Britney’s party, Jesse tells Michelle that he might move to Newport with Isabella so she can go to school there. But then later, girlfriend also lives there, so and we know that. But then he admits on camera that he was really just saying it, just to fuck with her. And watching him this episode, he has moments where I think maybe he’s not so bad after all, and then he goes and does something which any mom who is in a co parenting relationship with somebody else knows the panic that would induce in you is.
If that is what your ex is trying to say, because there’s if they’re for real about it, that it means then either you’re gonna see your kid less or you’re gonna be driving a lot more. There’s no scenario in that situation is a good scenario from Michelle’s standpoint, which is why it’s so crappy of Jesse to just do that, just to mess with her 100% I’m right there with you. There are moments I think that Jesse is a great reality star for that reason, because there is something about him, especially this first episode, when he takes accountability and apologizes to Kristen, there’s something about him that is very likable. I find him really attractive. So that helps, and that douche side from last season when he says this to Michelle, it’s okay, you both live in LA, he knew what he was doing. Oh yeah, he was trying to get her to flip out at the party. Michelle, it’s hard because I on this pod, Amanda and I usually side with the woman. In this case, I’m not saying I side with Jesse. I’m just saying that Michelle, because of her approach. I guess it’s she’s it’s harder for her to be a phony. So we see all of her emotions. She’s very expressive. Yeah, it works against her, as far as the viewers are concerned, because she’s not trying to make herself likable. But in this situation, like the idea that Michelle at that party had to think to herself, am I gonna have to fight him in court? Is he gonna try to move to another county that’s real sick. And when he said in his confessional, yeah, it did. I was I fucking with her? Let the chaos begin. I was like, You know what? Fuck you, Jesse, so we’re gonna, we’re gonna be doing that a lot in their divorce, based on the Intel we receive that we have in cocktail party. It’s gonna be a lot of who can go lower with the two of them. Yeah. And I’m just gonna say this, because I agree with you that I am usually on the side of the woman and I, but I will say in this situation or in any situation, I’m always on the side of the kid, and for him to just cheaply use his daughter as a pawn, just to try to get a rise out of his ex wife, knowing that he wasn’t going to really do it. That’s where I just I can’t with that. Call her a whore, whatever. I don’t agree with that either, but don’t bring it using your child as a pawn. That’s just gross. Yes, it’s. The thing about it is they’re both so angry at each other, and we have all season to discuss and dissect Yeah, and I think they both have reasons to be Yeah, agree with each other. I do have to say, I back to Aaron, her boyfriend. I was not very excited to see him jump in. I think he should be seen and not heard. When it comes to Jesse and Michelle co parenting. I don’t think he should be heard saying anything to anybody else about Jesse’s parenting. I don’t think he should be in any conversations about Michelle and Jesse and their parenting. I think it is, of course appropriate if Michelle is asking for advice, for him to talk to her. But other than that muzzle, yeah, which, again, just makes me think the guy has he just wants the spotlight too. And I just I worry about that one and what his intentions really are. So we then see Kristen and Zach talking about their issues with Janet. When Zach called Janet MC boring pants, I died,
but I hadn’t, or I don’t remember, maybe I heard it back when it was recorded. Shout out to Gibson Johns, gabbing with Gibbs on his podcast, Janet came on and said, Kristen and Zach didn’t want her pregnancy to go to full term. I absolutely understand why Kristen would be upset. Zach did say something that he shouldn’t have said, like a flippant comment when he was angry, but to go on a podcast and make it like they wished you ill will during your pregnancy is the most disgusting way to weaponize and play victim. Yeah, we watched her entire first season treat her pregnancy like a disability, where, like she was able to just spread shit, stir everything up, be disgusting, and then if anybody had a reaction, she was a disabled woman in a corner who couldn’t take anything. It’s listen. Many people have at risk pregnancies and are put on bed rest and have all sorts of issues. She, by all accounts, had a healthy pregnancy, and she voluntarily decided to be on the reality show. So it’s not like she was like Mia who, like, totally stayed out of the fray. And that I would say, Why the hell are they coming for this girl? Janet, was bringing it all to the forefront and then getting mad when they had any reaction to her. She pisses me off so much. I agree. I texted you yesterday that I think Janet and Whitney from Secret Lives of Mormon wives are probably just the same person, just in different bodies on different shows. Oh, my God, that is so good. But then so this is where I think we’ve now heard this said about Kristen. When Kristen and.
Janet were working on a shared cause, that they were great together, right. And now we see Kristen and Jesse being friends, which I find to be hysterical, because again, like I said, there’s certain things about Jesse that I really do enjoy watching, even though I think he does some as we just said, a really crappy things. Listen, a common enemy can unite two people. And I think it was Janet who actually said that about her and Kristen. Yeah, was, but I think it was big of Jesse to say to Kristen in person and really take full accountability and say, I lash out on you. I in the back of my mind, I thought it was true. You had no reason to make that up. Kristen is crazy, but Kristen isn’t a liar. And Justice For Kristen, I’m happy that she’s validated, and even when Janet and her had the conversation, Janet is so manipulative, I laugh because Janet seems to think, number one, that she’s a reality star. Nobody knows who she is, but number two, that because she was a fan of reality TV, she’s going to be better at it than the iconic Kristen dowdy. And I can see Janet sitting on the couch with her husband, who, he’s got to be a jerk too, because she can’t be married. I like, I hate when people like, dislike a woman and they’re like, oh, but the husband’s so nice. No, he’s not, like, he’s literally, okay. I was just gonna ask you this question so you don’t think that, like in real life, when there’s somebody or, like, the woman, the wife, is terrible, but the husband is a sweetheart. You don’t think that’s you don’t think that’s the thing. I think that when you’re done with dinner, he goes back to the hotel room, shuts the door, and talks all the same shit she does, and he just plays it better. I don’t believe, and I really mean this, I don’t believe that you can be married to somebody who is like diabolical like Janet, because I’m sorry, somebody who goes on a pop a podcast as popular as our friend Gibson’s, and says that Kristen dowdy and Zach didn’t want me to see my pregnancy till full term. That’s diabolical. That is horrendous. Okay, what’s up? I don’t believe that she can be married to a man who isn’t an asshole himself. I just don’t believe it. It’s my opinion, as Tamara would say, but I don’t believe it. I don’t think because so many we and this goes both ways, right? The same with Britney and Jax. Okay, I’ll put it there too. Like when they were married and everyone was like, but she’s so sweet. It’s her no, she may be sweeter, she may be nicer. She may say, Oh, I’m sorry, but when they’re behind closed doors, she co signs that behavior you do not marry to somebody morally corrupt without being okay with it yourself. That’s how I feel. I so I have actually had this conversation with my husband. I’ve had it with other friends, because this is actually, I think this is something that you see everybody sees in real life, where you see a couple and one person is terrible, the other person is the sweetest person. And or seems to be right, and I agree with you. But I also wonder if that person sometimes puts blinders on when it comes to their partner and doesn’t sees the stuff but doesn’t really process it and say, Oh, wait, I am now. I’m also associated with.
This behavior, because this is put it, let’s say there’s a really just gossipy and sorry, it’s often women, so I’m just going to use this stereotype. But a really gossipy wife, I’m sure she’s still gossiping back at home with her husband, but I don’t know that the heightened dated and you courted and you saw her behavior throughout the course of your relationship, and it wasn’t a deal breaker for you. Yeah, so being married to somebody who’s gossipy, in and of itself, doesn’t make either of them a terrible person. We are sitting on a podcast gossiping, right? But I think it’s always the intention behind it. So when you’re with somebody like Janet, who truly sits and figures out how she can take pieces of truth and manipulate them in a way. I picture her and her husband sitting on the couch, and he’s a lawyer and almost creating scenarios. Yeah, and in that case, I agree with you. I just think in life in general, I think there are, I think that there are spouses that can be nicer than the other, right, and some people who just put blinders sometimes of things that they don’t think concern them. Of course, people’s personalities are different. If you met you, obviously you have, but if cocktail has met, my husband’s much more reserved, and he really is not a gossiper. So anytime I want to gossip, he’s like, all right, who cares? But I’m not gossiping with the intent of spreading it around my neighborhood and getting somebody thrown out of the mommy playgroup. Do you know what I mean? Yeah, like, I’m having a little shady opinion on the side that isn’t going to affect anyone either way. I’m not going on a podcast or going on television, or, to put it in regular people’s terms, like going to the PTA. Do you know what I’m saying? I think that my husband wouldn’t marry a woman who was on the PTA and tried not to get other moms on the PTA because she didn’t like them. And I think that would turn him off, because I think that would be like shady nastiness that he didn’t wasn’t comfortable with and wouldn’t be attracted to. I guess that’s what I’m saying. Yeah, and I totally agree. And I do, just to clarify, do you think gossiping is completely different than gossiping with intent to hurt people? We don’t gossip. And any for anybody who, like, I will tell you, having this podcast, having you guys on Discord, is a great outlet if you want to gossip in a way that doesn’t really hurt anybody. These people signed up for it so we can gossip with them until the cows come home, I know. And that’s what makes this place so great, yes. So Danny and Nia at their lunch start talking about having another baby wild with that condo. And I guess that. And so many of you were like, oh my god, I can’t believe they all live in that condo. And it makes me laugh because as a New Yorker, I watch HGTV, and I watch whatever that show is, where they find houses. And like, when you live in California, specifically LA, or you live in, like any major city, I think your spaces are smaller. And I laugh, because some of you guys are like, all those kids in a condo. And I’m like, I know so many people who live like that in New York because just the cost and the availability and whatever. So I totally get Danny’s point. Like he wasn’t saying he didn’t want another kid. I think he was saying, like, Okay, I know you’re really opposed to moving out of LA to the suburbs of Santa Clara, Santa Clarita, though, is that would be like, you moving to
upstate New York or something an hour and a half away, that is on with, like, good traffic. That’s it’s far. Yeah, I get it. I understand, like, that’s a whole different life. Is where Nia is coming from which I get that too, and I understand him wanting to space it apart, but I don’t. And I forget Nia age, but I have to say she’s close to 40. Let’s look it up. So I think there’s that. But I also totally understood what she said, like she wants more kids, but there is a sense when you have young children, whether you breastfeed or not, because I didn’t breastfeed, your body isn’t yours for a long time. It takes a long time not just to lose the weight, but herself. It’s not so much about the weight. In her case, it did sound like she probably wanted to do a mommy makeover, which is totally her business. I’m not knocking it. I wish I had the guts. I never did. I was always too scared. I was too I could go for a little tummy tuck. But with that said, I think that is something that women, in general, but especially women who’ve been pregnant, can totally appreciate. Yes, I want more kids, but I want to do it and then claim my body back. And I think a lot of families have different reasons for how they want to space out their children. I think, yes, if they’re lucky enough to not have fertility issues and have the choice and be in control of that, some families want their kids close in years so they can get through that baby phase and have their kids be all in similar phases at school. It is, and I think that’s a lot of I think that’s a large reason why some people don’t have the third or the fourth kid. Because I think that, like in our case, our kids are both three.
Apart, right? So, like, by the time I came out of that fog of, like, baby, toddler life, and I had a six year old, did I really want to then have a newborn? X Listen, so many people do it, but my personality, I was like, You know what? I’m good with the baby phase, like I’m moving on, like I’m moving Exactly, yeah, yeah. Because, like, I felt like going from zero kids to one kid was much harder than going from one to two. I needed a breather. It is, it is. It’s a whole different it’s a whole different thing to have a newborn at home. And I think if some of it depends on your personality too, because I have friends who have three, four kids and have that newborn out and about, yes, and they’re doing all things, and that was not me, no, no, they like, they’re traveling to a world with these babies. And like, Absolutely not. That was not, I can’t we all know what we can handle, but I feel like all of that reasoning, everything is valid. And I think wanting your body back is completely valid too, because I was the exact same way. I did not think she was just talking about the esthetics, because, and it’s not, you’re right, it’s not, it’s not just breastfeeding, because, like, when you have little babies, they’re they want to be. They’re on you, they’re touching you, you’re holding them. And sometimes you’re just like, I just need some personal space. And I remember when my kids were little, there was like, a meme, or, I don’t know, a thread, and it was like, moms, you ever just feel touched out, yes, even intimacy, like it’s, you’re you almost, you’re like, I’ve just been, I’m not in the mood, like, I’ve been having children and spit up on me all day. Just everybody off me. Everybody, yeah, it’s like, the I don’t know, like you really don’t feel there for a while, like your body is really just your own. Like in the I always tell the story, but in the hospital, after having my son, you’re so tired, and there’s people coming in and out of your room all day long. And I’m in there and somebody comes in, and I just lift my hospital gown, and the nurses, I’m just here for your blood pressure. Yes, how you is, you’re just so used to people, and it’s, it’s stuff like that. So I, I completely identified with Nia wanting to do that, and it’s their family. And if that’s, I don’t know, I do think they’re a little optimistic about having another baby in that condo, though, yes, agreed, it would be some it would be a certain amount of chaos. I’m so with you on that it would be chaos, but we know that she’s pregnant, so they figured it out. And I think I heard that they did. They are moving to their bank area, I would think, or they moved, or they are or something I would imagine, especially if they know they’re like, done having kids, and they can know what size of house they need, and that kind of thing. It was interesting that Janet, when they’re having little pre party, before Britney’s White Party, and Danny and Nia came over that she says, Oh, this is the China from my first husband. Now you remember, okay, when we got that scoop that and this guys was in cocktail, but when I posted it, this was co signed by several people who knew Janet from home. She left her first husband, so she took a trip to LA with friends. She was married to some guy. Now, maybe she wasn’t happily married, we don’t know, but she met Sheena, and her and Sheena, she spoke about this, got along so well, and she decided I’m gonna move to LA. She legitimately separated, divorced, whatever. Her husband moved to LA, and since then, which was, this is years ago, has been trying to get on reality TV. She tried to get on Vanderpump. She became friends with all of them. Her and Jason moved near them because, remember, this spin off was in the works, and then it wasn’t and then eventually we got it. So when she brought up the China from the first husband, I just had to mention that if you guys aren’t in cocktail party, that’s how thirsty you always say, is this girl really this thirsty case point? Yeah, okay. Janet McGuire pants, so Schwartz comes on the same night, so Jack says he’s getting the guys to go out with him because he’s pissed because he didn’t get to invited to Britney’s party, which good for her for setting that boundary. So Schwartz comes out on Jax is guys night, and that’s when he he says to Jax that he’s worried about him and that his behavior is not okay. So telling Yeah, you’re right. Schwartz doesn’t get serious, right? Yes. And Schwartz looked panicked. I think it was what he was saying. But also him just looking at him like, oh my god, this is so bad. Yeah, yeah. And then Janet over the China over her first husband’s China says that she would like to make amends with Kristen. Listen, I think Kristen handled it beautifully. She was open to listening to her. She went in with an open mind, and Janet, once again, did her whole manipulative thing where she said, I’m so sorry for saying that and grouping you together with your diabolic.
Old friend, or however she and it’s like, wait a minute, you’re not sorry, you and this is what I think. And I know Kristen, I’m sure thinks this. Janet doesn’t care about Kristen. Janet wanted to take Kristen down. I think her intention was to make her look crazy and get her off the show, or make nobody hang out with her. But the fans bucked that. The fans were like, Who is this girl, Janet? Where did she come from? And I think Janet thinks if I can get on good terms with Kristen, I’ll be better received by fans. And I think Kristen, Janet’s new intent is to just be okay with Kristen and hopefully, at some point get her again, but be okay with her in the short term and just alienate Zach, because Janet seems like a very vengeful person who wants things her way and she doesn’t want Zach around whatever. I think, yeah, I think Kristen sees it. I think we see it. I think it’s also about Janet wanting to get more air time, and knowing that if she is at least in a peaceful place with Kristen, that she’ll be part of more they’ll both be part of more group things because of the way that the cast got divided at the end of last season. So this last episode, it’s all about the aftermath of the Kenya incident at her hair salon, where she showed pornographic images of Brit Edie at her salon opening party, we first see Brett at home with her dog, with her husband crying on the couch, saying she hasn’t slept in days since it happened, which I’m I believe, and then the creepy husband’s It’ll be all right, no, yeah, her husband’s getting creepier by the minute. I’m sorry, but if somebody, if my husband said that to me, I would be like a how, and I need more. And no, I love Kelly. She shows up with food, a wine, a nurse to do an IV for them, just saying, I want to show up for my friends the way that I would want them to show up for me. And she does it. I love her. Brit says that the pictures that Kenya showed were real. She let a boyfriend film her doing a sex act, and that she also had a stint as a webcam girl, which I don’t think I knew before that, and that she had all of the photos and videos removed from the internet. Is that thing that you can actually do because, like, I know from experience, that you can hire people, companies.
Is to put your name on a bunch of content so that, like, when somebody’s googling you, it would be on, like page 30, like the bad stuff, only because I actually had a boss once who had a DUI at Long story short, he was doing a lot of shady stuff and lying. And like, I just started doing, like, more specific search terms. But can you have stuff actually removed from the internet? So listen, do you know? I don’t know. I do know that. I think that you could attempt, I think what you said is accurate. But there are so many different porn sites, Pornhub, porn, this porn, that that if at any time you sign the dotted line, if somebody like Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton haven’t been able, and I know they profited, and I’m not getting into that whole thing, yeah, but if famous people or well known people haven’t been able to bury it, then surely Britt, and I think we also, is it possible, perhaps, does she have the resources to pay for something that advanced so Kenya was able to access it? It seems unlikely that Kenya reached out to an ex boyfriend and got it clearly, and I want to be very clear on this, for everything we’re about to say, we do not support what Kenya did. She was dead wrong. Not only was she wrong, she was stupid. But the thing is, with Brit it’s hard for me. I absolutely have sympathy for the situation that Kenya caused for her, but she’s not the perfect victim. We watched her threaten Kenya with a pistol. I’m personally pissed off because Atlanta was off to such a fresh, great start, and this really has made it gross and dark. I do know that Phaedra is coming in, and it gets better, and I think production made a really good attempt, from what I’ve heard, at lightening the mood after these episodes, because I don’t want to watch pistol threats and revenge porn, agreed. And people are asking me, Is Kenya gonna sue Bravo, or is Oh, is Brit gonna sue Bravo? Or is Kenya going to sue Bravo? Neither of them have yet. I think it’s fairly clear Bravo is done with Kenya. I think that based on Kenya being so out spoken, and especially like calling Andy names and all of that, can Brit Sue not as she wants to stay employed, which you guys know, my opinion is that she’s gonna get her walking papers at the end of this season, and we won’t see her again. Bravo. Didn’t show the pictures, so I don’t know. We could ask our attorney people, but I don’t know what kind of case Britney has. I don’t know again, what Britney’s resources are to pull anything like that. So I just like, icked by Brit with the pistol. I’m super like, what are you doing Kenya? And I want to move on, because I want to enjoy Atlanta. Yeah, I agree. This has been a topic of conversation on Discord. One of our attorney cocktails said that looking at Georgia, if the content was publicly available, then it is harder to prove revenge porn. Anybody can sue anybody for anything. Can we also talk though about how everybody else in that room was subjected to pornographic material without consent? Yeah, that can be very traumatizing. This actually happened to me at a job, in a meeting in my 20s. Oh yeah. It was like a staff like us, like our Friday staff meeting, and it was like, I don’t know, five or six people in the smaller conference room, and the guy who did this apparently had been having some substance abuse, things like, I wasn’t close enough to know him well enough, or he was a co worker and he was senior to me, but I didn’t know him that well. He plugs in his computer, and on the screen is a full on S M video of a man in S M gear, including a ball gag getting whipped. Wow. And it was like the guy was naked. And I won’t go into more than that, because I don’t want to traumatize you guys, too. I was so shocked in that moment, I felt numb. I had to work through that one for a long time, like, I can joke about it now, but it was really traumatizing. I Yeah, I think we saw that on the women, like they have set for Britney, but they were also and I think there’s also a feeling, which like, if I were in the workplace, at any workplace, right? So they’re on a reality show, but if I were in the workplace and somebody did this in a meeting to a colleague, there’s also a sense of, Oh, Jesus, they could do this to me, and now, especially with AI and everything else, like, you really could totally make a video like that, if you just have the person’s voice and face, like, yeah, it was such a miscalculation. And I think when the women pointed out like, how premeditated it was, like she had to go to Staples or wherever, and.
Print those poster boards, like, what about the poor person? At end, I can tell you, back in the day, when we all used to have disposable cameras and would print pictures, my friend worked in, if it was CVS or Walgreens or whatever, and people would, like, print pictures, and we were t like, she was like a 16 year old girl working in the photo section. She saw some disturbing stuff. Oh, I bet, yeah. And that’s not right, 100% not right. So it’s definitely not right. Yeah. So at the Peace brunch that Kelly throws, Brett says she’s worried about her Oh, I guess I’m skipping ahead, but Brett says some stuff about her insurance license, that she’s worried that, I guess there’s been an investigation open, because now everybody knows about her past. Listen, honey, you’re on a reality show that is gonna be messy. So if you were worried about your license, you shouldn’t have gone on the reality show. Really, the skeletons are kinda good. Lady, what kind you did was 100% wrong, but we all make choices, and I’m just gonna say this, you were a webcam girl the same way you chose to go on a reality show. And sometimes we have to stand on the fact of our own decisions. Yeah, like the boyfriend thing aside, you were employed by a pornographic company, and so you have your own insurance business. But if, for some reason, the state that you live in decided that they were going to do a background check and found the WebCam footage from when you voluntarily agreed to do it, yeah, do you know what I’m saying? And this is, what point is it? The fact of Kenya didn’t sneak it and she shouldn’t have shared it, and I’m going to say it a million times, but at what point is it like Kenya didn’t sneak in her bedroom and take these pictures. They were publicly available. She shouldn’t have shown them. But we can’t now blame everything on someone else. We have to be accountable for choices we make. Oh, guys, it’s a really common thing for celebrities, but also business executives, all kinds of people to have what’s called a morality clause. And the details of that morality clause are all different. If you are representing the state, or you’re representing you’re you’re in a license kind of position, you should probably think twice if you have stuff skeletons in your past that you don’t want out because having there’s, I’m sure there’s some sort of morality clause part of of the license, because you can’t go around. I’m gonna make a different example here. You can’t go around like breaking the law or doing things that make you seem like you’re not an upstanding person, if you’re also having to represent an industry or other companies and things like that. So again, not victim blaming, because Kenya shouldn’t have done it, but I do think that let’s say Kenya. Let’s say Kenya didn’t show the pictures. Okay, let’s take that, let’s take that awful situation out of the equation. Let’s say that Kenya, or any one of the other women, said something like and you know what? I don’t know who Brit thinks she is, because she was just a webcam girl, which is totally possible, because they all live in the same town, and so then let’s say you’re on a reality show. So it’s not like you’re having a fight at the PTA, like we were talking about. Okay, you’re on a reality show. So now that is public information. So now whomever she’s referring to is taking her license away, looks into it and takes it away because you’re on a reality show. And it was mentioned she had to have known, of course.
Nobody would think that there would be pictures distributed on camera of her in sexual acts, but you would have to assume it would be mentioned. Yeah, you would have to assume, and it would have been mentioned 100% it definitely would have been. And I think you hit the nail on the head when you were talking about Brit being so unlikable, which is why she isn’t the perfect victim, why the ladies don’t seem to have more sympathy? I think they all have sympathy, just like we do. But it’s I don’t know. And to be clear, I see absolutely nothing wrong with being a webcam girl. Amanda and I have said it, if not once, a million times, it’s however you want to earn your honest living. It’s legal. It’s your business, or whatever is your business. I pass no judgment. But on the same token, there are industries, and I guess I’m repeating what Amanda just said, where that will be frowned upon if you want to become a school teacher. Nowadays they Google, yeah. And so if it comes up that you’re a webcam girl, you’re probably not going to get the job as the kindergarten school teacher, whether you have the best grades from the best school or not. And so these are things that you have to consider. You make, conclusions you make. I can’t even volunteer at my kid’s school without a background check. Bam, I’m sick. Yeah. And like in that case, my opinion, if I want to volunteer at my kid’s school, and when I was 19 or 20 or however old, doesn’t matter. I was a webcam girl, it shouldn’t affect whether or not I can volunteer, because my opinion being a webcam girl is perfectly normal and fine, the same way it shouldn’t affect it if I were a stripper, but the principal made it feel otherwise, and that’s when you make those decisions. You have to weigh those in. Yeah. So what did you think of the scene when this is back in with her at Jimmy’s house before the peace brunch, where drew comes in late because she’s quote, unquote, preparing for court. I gotta say, like I’ve said this before, I roll my eyes every time she comes on the screen. If she weren’t a person like that, I would have actually felt badly for her in that moment because she starts to talk a little bit about her divorce, and then Portia just totally steals the show by talking about her divorce. Okay, I’m more interested in Portia divorce. I’m glad she did, but agreed about Drew. Let’s skip to Portia. I truly don’t know. I’m trying to figure it out. I was actually discussing this because I was watching Atlanta with my sister in law. I’m like the idea that I’m supposed to believe that Portia, who is, quite frankly, so gorgeous when she’s on the screen, I can’t take my eyes off her. She is so magnetic. She has this incredible personality. She’s it, right? She’s a star. I can only imagine, I can only imagine in real life, how attractive and desirable she would be to men. So she decides to marry this not particularly nice. She had that spin off with him. I found him rude. Thinks who he is. Nobody is going to tell me he’s a hottie because he’s not no like he’s been married five times his exes have come out. Like his one ex wife says she won’t pay for his like, kids and like all this, just like, gross stuff that has always been around him. You expect me to believe that you were so incredibly in love with this man who never seemed great. What did you know? What I mean? Like, maybe she didn’t know. I think she’s totally with it. She’s, she married him for all the money, and what she said, which I hope isn’t true, she’s, I don’t know. It gets me nervous watching Shamia. Well, you see these women come on and flaunt all this wealth. If there’s one thing Theresa judici has been right about, I do think that the feds watch you when you’re on a television show and you show so much wealth. Like I said, right? I really hope her husband’s HVAC company is on the up and up as far as paying the correct amount of taxes and everything. I’m not saying it’s not, yeah, you have that much wealth, you have more scrutiny, and you’re not like Bose who, okay, she was the CEO of Netflix. Okay, that makes sense, like, when you just have a company, and there are entrepreneurs who have companies and make tremendous amounts of money. Clearly, we all know that’s true, but it’s also true that people live outside their means or doing fishy stuff. So I just feel like Portia was willing to turn the blind eye, and obviously on camera, she is going to play into the victim of I can’t believe it. I loved him. We had such a nice family. He was such a wonderful stepfather, and I’m so sad you married him in three minutes, because he had a lot of money, and then you found out that it wasn’t on the up, and you got the hell out of there. That’s what it was. I stand by that, yeah, as a grown woman who has you have to wonder, especially with children and your own wealth, is was Porsche’s desire to be protected and taken care of, stronger than the desire to protect herself and make smart decisions. Because I feel like my safety, they have been over and over again. I think it may have been, but I will say that I think she learned from this. And I think the one thing that was authentic, and is authentic when she talks about it, is that she doesn’t like this big change for her daughter, because I think that she got into a situation that she did believe would have more longevity. I don’t think she thought he was going to get caught, because the reality is he got away with a lot of weird stuff for decades. He was for a lot of time. Yeah, so I do believe that she thought that she could raise her daughter in this situation, and.
And like, I do believe that part of it, I do believe that this happened and she wasn’t expecting it. I don’t believe that she didn’t know that there was fishy stuff. I just think she was surprised he got caught so quick. And I think going forward, she’ll make better decisions, because she wants her daughter to have a stable, good life. That’s what I think. Yeah, I would hope so too. I would hope these women are learning from their past mistakes. And I know we have guys, we’re gonna get to the cocktail pod, and we have a lot to discuss, and we could go on. I vet my sources, but Bethany was saying a lot of stuff on social media about GIA, so when they sent me this comment, which I took down the post, so I actually it basically was very similar to what Bethany was saying about how you have to
be careful. Hold on, I just pulled up Bethany’s video, and I’m going to screenshot it. Oops. I shut my phone off because you guys know how good I am at technology. Okay, so this was the quote I was sent, and I want you guys to weigh in and say, if this sounds believable, I so I made my first million before I even knew who Jiah Judy J was so forgive me if I’m not taking financial lessons. Now this is after GIA had went back at her at the pod and said things about her, right? Because we know that all happened, that was all true, right? So forgive me if I’m not taking financial lessons from the daughter of a walking Tate tax case study, when your mom and stepdad owe nearly 3 million to the IRS. The smartest move might be to stay quiet, or at the very least don’t go online, teaching others how to manage their money. I don’t have a PhD in economics, but I do have a multi million dollar company clean finances and the good sense to call a lawyer before I call a stylist. If Gina GIA ever needs a mentor, I’m available, as long as she brings a calculator and an actual tax return. And so that was a fake quote. So what Bethany? So I just reposted it because somebody sent it with a picture of GM Bethany, and it went viral. And people started saying to me, where did she post this? And I was like, I assume in one of her Instagram stories, because guys, you know that Bethany posts incessant, like, when she gets on a rant, a rant, yeah, I’m like, somebody sent me this summary. I get 2000 DMS a day. So I see it, I screenshot it, I post that. I go about my business. So I was saying, Maybe this was, like, AI generated. So I took it down, and then Bethany put up a story. And was like, I was like, I was misquoted, and Bethany basically said she’s, I can’t take credit for this, but it’s very well written. Obviously, Bethany said somebody put in what I had said in the press, and what GIA had said back to me in the press into AI, and it generated this statement, because it was very it was basically a summary of what she said to me, and I said to her. So of course, people are like, Oh, bravo. And cocktails do better. And to that, I say, We are the National Enquirer. We are not the New York Times, Scott gossip guys, Star gossip site we see. And Bethany herself said, and I quote, you guys can go because it’s on her feed. I cannot take credit for this statement, but it’s very well written, and sounds like something I would say so there. And I don’t give a shit, I am flattered that I wish shout out on Bethany I got, I don’t know, lots of views off that. I mean, for, for, at what part of for entertainment purposes only, yes, we do not better. Like, we don’t, yes, like when you get some tea, you do look to see who the source is, if they’re, like a publicist. But if I vetted everybody really good, you guys wouldn’t know that Rihanna was pregnant the first time. Sometimes you just gotta go with it. And we have an entire system set up so people can send us anonymous emails, which we know can be, which is what this was, and I assumed that it was in one of her reels.
