Let’s get into this week’s tea.
What’s up? Cocktailers, hello, Amanda. Hi, Bea, hi. Cocktails. So before we start the pod and we do have a fun, juicy pod, we just wanna send Teddy mellencamp and her kids and her family are love prayers and sincerest well wishes. She just we’re recording Wednesday again. It’s not our new day, it’s just that Amanda and I have been traveling. Essentially, she’s been having really bad headaches, and she went to the doctor. They kept her she did a CT scan, an MRI, and they found multiple tumors on her brain, which they believe have been growing for at least six months. She’s having two of them removed surgically today, the smaller tumors will be dealt with with radiation at a later date. She thanks everybody who’s reached out. She says she’s blessed to be surrounded by her family, friends, children, so sending her all our love. A lot of you guys and this just happened, but you DM me and said that apparently, and I did not know this, melanoma sometimes does travel to the brain, praying that it’s unrelated, obviously, and it’s separate, but really scary stuff. Yeah, I echo all of these sentiments, you know, I guess I just assumed it was part of her melanoma when I read that, and she’s been so open about sharing all of this and sharing this journey, and how many surgeries she’s had to remove it. And I think just in her, you know, in a show of strength, and just, you know, send her, send her love and prayers. Because this has got to be absolutely terrifying, terrifying I cannot even imagine. So we’re sending you, we’re sending you love, we’re sending you prayers, we’re sending you support. Teddy, yes, but Amanda, I do need to know about Nashville. Did you get cut off buying the boots? The boots? So no, because I actually have a couple of pairs. So I brought my own boots with me, knowing just, you know, trying to prevent myself from being cut off. And by the way, so many of you guys DM me and said that you too have been cut off. So apparently this is a thing. I guess they really discourage drunk boot buying, because I guess they are an expensive purchase. So they are, they, for sure, are I like? I get no idea, because I don’t.
Remember what they cost. When I was in there, I was trying to get our friends to buy some for their daughter because, and, like, I think I’m probably just going to end up having to buy her some because they have a three year old. And I mean, some of my favorite pictures of my daughter when she’s little are, like, of her in a swimsuit and purple sparkly cowgirl boots. I love, oh, they’re the cutest. I mean, they have that. Then that store, which I know is the scene of the crime, is because I sent you a picture,
and you did remember they have adorable little boots in the in the window, but, yeah, I think, I mean, we had a blast. I checked all the boxes. We did Broadway. I wrote a mechanical bowl. I ate some chicken fried steak. We went to Printer’s Row, drank a lot of cocktails, and we are very, very, very happy to come home. Yeah, you got, you go in and you get out. Yeah, it is. It is very much like Vegas, like that, and that you’re, you’re ready, you’re ready to go home. But I have to ask you, So Amanda sent me a video of herself on a horse, but that wasn’t the mechanical bull. I mean, the horse was galloping around the bar, like this little furry horse, a fake horse, guys. So what? How did I miss this bar? Which bar was this? It’s cost show pony. I want to say it’s off of second, or on second, just off of Broadway. It’s on, like, one of the little side streets, like, if you’re heading towards the river on Broadway, you go right. I think it’s on second. I’m not 100% sure about that, but it was such a, yeah, it’s such a fun bar, because they actually have like, a woman who’s like, the master of ceremonies in there, who’s like, walking around with a mic, and like, she’s interacting with the crowd and stuff. Like, there’s, of course, a live band, but in between songs and she’s, like, playing games. And that place was a super fun, super fun place to go, just like during the day. Well, I feel like I have the bug now, because I, like, already want to go back so well. And the music and, like, we went up to, I don’t know if you got up to printers row when you were there, but that’s a little smaller kind of area, and it’s, like, in an alley, or maybe it’s printer’s alley. I forget what it’s called, but it’s where there’s, like, some smaller places. We happened into this place that we saw the most amazing, like Southern rock band, and they were playing specifically for this other Nashville performer, whose name I have now forgotten, and it was because it was her birthday. And so the whole thing was, like, like, it was kind of her birthday, celebra. I mean, just so fun. I think such a vibe, such a good time. Okay, so what did you think of the Super Bowl? And I need to know, like, what are your we’re a horse. We were a horse pod, and now we are a country Museum, horse news. So that’s what my text you said, I think, yes. Now, when Amanda texts me, she goes in horse news, in horse news, okay, so what are your Super Bowl snacks? Like, what are your must have? Oh, okay, so you know me, must have, like, salami, cheese, olives, Italian bread, breadsticks, like, obviously, nowadays they call it the char tutory, am I saying that right? Cory, I always say it wrong. Let me try charcuterie. I just try Antipas, right? Like Italians, just call it Antipas. So that is a must. I like some good dips, right? You got to give me a buffalo dip. You got to have some taco type dips, right? My sister in law had us over, and she makes a delicious Pernille. And, oh, I love Spanish meals. The Cuban like porks, yeah? Cuban pork. And she does a Spanish rice that has, like, chopped up chorizo, olives, so good. It’s so good. And then there’s, like, always a variety of desserts, right? Which, I’m not a huge dessert person, but I like a bite on a Sunday during football. Yeah? I agree. I mean, I think, what are your, what are your must haves? Because I kind of split up the game in terms of, like, Okay, we have, like, the appetite. And, by the way, this was just my husband and me this because we’re gonna have people over, and then we, you know, knowing we’re just getting back from Nashville, so you have to have your dips, like a spinach dip, like, or an artichoke dip and a wings, and that’s like the first half food, and then a chili, usually, or something for second half. So we did a green chili for the second half, and two different kinds of tip and wings. And then I did, I made brownies, and you guys will be really high. I did. I took the vise, and they actually turned out much better. I love it. So there you go. My God, the ice was to just cook them a little bit like, a little bit less than the box set, and they’re definitely a little more gooey. But I didn’t, I didn’t burn them to a crisp. We’re proud of you. Amanda, you see, it takes the community of cocktails to teach us. Yeah, progress. It’s little by little. You know, I’m here for the snacks. I’m here for the commercials, the celebrities and the audience. I always love a good halftime show. But, and I don’t know how I didn’t know because, well, I know how I didn’t know because I pay zero attention. Like Sundays, my husband and I live very separate lives. Well, it’s not true. We always do like.
Sunday dinner together, yeah? But if, if I’m on the couch, or if I’m in the kitchen cooking, and he’s watching the game like I have my AirPods in and I’m listening to a pod like I’m not paying attention, yeah? So it was brought to my attention ahead of the game, that there is this lovely man named Jalen hurt who’s gorgeous, and on top of that, has an all female management team. Yeah. So I said, I have to root for the Eagles. He dresses like a 96 sitcom star, like Living Single, which I was way too young to be watching, but of course, I did, right? And I’m obsessed, and then his beautiful fiance, and the whole thing so gorgeous. You know, the thing with me, because I’m not an athlete, and I don’t really watch, I just always feel bad for the losing team, like, unless it’s my husband, like, unless it’s the Mets, the jets or the islanders, because we lose so often that I’m just relieved. My husband’s happy, yeah, but any other thing, like, I always feel bad. Like, I’m like, Oh my God, I feel so bad for the chiefs, because, you know, it’s so hard to lose, but they did just win two in a row, right? So, yeah, I mean, I love football. I am there, usually mostly watching football on, like, Saturdays and Sundays. Like, I really do love it. I thought it was such a boring game, and I was, I have a few teams that I and the Chiefs is one of them. They didn’t even show up until the last six minutes of the game. Like, for real, they just they it was like, it was the weirdest, it was the weirdest thing. It was like, something was they were sick or something, because they were anyway. But my husband wanted to leave. And, like, he loves all sports. Every sport doesn’t matter who’s playing. And he’s like, this is boring. Let’s go. And I was like, well, that’s kind of rude. Let’s stay. It really was a boring game. But that’s, that’s kind of a nice thing though, too, because then you don’t feel as bad, you know? And like, with me being in marketing, I’m always like, Everyone, be quiet, join me. Yeah, I used to be. I’m a lot better about it now. And I just, like, will go back or like, look at something on my phone if I couldn’t fully hear an ad anyway. But you know, this is a gossip podcast. And all roads, of course, I feel like we say this every week, but all roads do leave to Bravo, because Craig was there. Paige was there separately. Naomi was there. I want to say Austin was also there. Who else remember if I saw him? But maybe Caitlin, who is also a podcaster, who used to be on The Bachelor and dancing with stars. I mean, there are so many, so many, so many stars there and like, what a fun place for it to been in the, you know, in New Orleans. Yes, so Paige was there, and she was with the guy who you guys will remember, we got a video of her in a box at an Eagles game. She, I am gonna assume, was in the Eagles box again, because he is the VP for clutch sports and is an agent for many athletes, some of whom are on the Eagles. The Internet sleuth photos, so Paige posted a picture of herself in a hotel room, and apparently this guy posted a picture of himself in a hotel room, and the curtains and the carpets and even his fanny pack all matched. Then there was a picture of them in the hallway, and it was like from behind, but it was the outfit, like she had this outfit that was very noticeable on, yeah, so yeah, we’re gonna go ahead and say they’re fully dating, because the weekend before, there were rumors they were in Miami together. There was the rumor that he was at her show in New York City, which was a few weeks ago. Meantime, Craig was in New York City for watch what happens and the southern charm reunion was filmed. He was spotted at Nobu having dinner with Sally, who’s a new cast member. So she’s the one who is Gaston ex girlfriend. Yes, she’s the person who’s the medical sales person for the robotic surgery. And, yeah, I She’s one of those people who, like, she was stunning as a blonde, but in all of her confessionals, has like, a more of a bronze or like a, like a, it’s, I wouldn’t say it’s, she’s not a burnout, but like, a more of a brown color. And it’s kind of like Doris Donnie, just beautiful. Yeah, stunning on her. Maybe you should try that. I know. I feel like you could rock that. Thanks. I appreciate that. So I have to tell you that I had some people tell me that they were in a group, so it was Craig and Sally and other people. Listen, I don’t know. Let’s let’s watch and find out. Certainly, they’re both single. They’re both attractive. She seems like a very bright, nice person. They’re both so forgetful. Yeah, I do feel, in Craig’s case, I’d hate to be the girl to follow Paige, because he was so clearly in love with her and so clearly heartbroken about their split that I do sense a rebound and then him finding the one. Yeah, that’s just my feeling. I could be wrong. Well, maybe Sally play your cards, right? Don’t be the rebound, be the next one after that. Yeah, exactly. I can also let you guys know that we know that Southern charm picked up cameras. Well, in a surprise to nobody, we had heard that we thought they did. Summer House also picked up cameras. Summer House is.
Also currently filming confessionals. So this is all post breakup. We’re gonna see all the cast, summer house cast, reactions to their breakup. Paige’s point of view, which is good, and we wanna see it, but it really is starting to feel and I posted a picture of Biggie and Tupac like this, like huge beef, and we’re being forced to pick a side. You know,
I would like to hear Larry’s perspective on this. Yes, well, because he I know, and he knows, like some of the cast members tell me why you’re feeling like we this is becoming like, I’m sure there’s the battle between like the page and Craig, but like, of the whole of the shows, you feel like there’s that vibe. Well, well, I we have Austin speaking out and basically insinuating that he feels Paige was cheating or had somebody lined up, right? He said that I’m watching what happens live. He said some stuff on podcasts. And then we had Kyle and Amanda who said on a podcast, like they feel like P Craig should have defended Paige, that she wasn’t cheating and and he should have come out and defended her. We had Carl, very clearly, team page on the vial podcast. So it is it, it feels like, and I don’t necessarily think Paige or Craig are doing it, but both casts are. And maybe we know maybe we are doing this right. I think there’s an element of that. But I also think that we say it all the time for housewives, it’s so easy for a person to look at, look at scandoval, to lean into someone else’s storyline and stay relevant, right? So if true, I’m going on a podcast, and I’m Austin, and I decide to talk about this. So it is easy for both and, I mean, Amanda and Kyle and listen, in many ways, I do believe that Amanda and Kyle deserve a break, because it has been their relationship for so long, Carl and Lindsay. So it’s like, you know, Paige and Craig, because they had a seemingly healthy relationship, didn’t have that. But now we’re gonna see like, we’re gonna see the cracks, because Paige got a lot of backlash, and so I have to imagine she is going to air it in her confessionals and in the camera pickup, and she’s gonna let us know what wasn’t so great. And my mindset is that I’m fans of both shows. I’m fans of both people. Relationships sometimes don’t work out. I stand by. There’s no scandal here, yeah, unless there is a.

Yeah, I agree. I do think it’s good to see Amanda and Kyle and Carl, like, kind of stepping up for Paige. Because I definitely feel like Paige has felt like the blame for the, you know, this breakup has kind of all fallen on her, and there’s been all these implications. So, I mean, we’re gonna, I’m, I’m gonna keep watching both shows. And I know you are, and I don’t think that. I don’t think I would be very surprised if somebody is like, Nope, I’m fully team page. I’m gonna stop watching southern charm. But maybe, but maybe, I don’t know. I just can’t wait, because summer house actually comes back tonight. I also, well, it also makes me question, like, going forward, how invested I’m gonna be in these relationships, because I invested too much. And when I when I didn’t ask me anything, somebody said, Why did you keep saying they weren’t broken up? Because I didn’t know they were fucking broken up. Like I would drop the scoop, guys, and I just posted a humongous master post of all the intel we got from summer house, which is a lot you are in a cocktail. There’s a lot of stuff. So there will be spoilers in there, because I know a lot of it to be true and other stuff. This is the fun game that we play postseason. We do it with Vanderpump. We do it with housewives. We do it with all the shows. I post all the tea. And then we see what’s true, what’s not true, what’s in the middle, right? Well, because we hear something, but then once we see it on camera, we see a little bit of a different perspective on it, so it ends up being kind of like you said, somewhere in the middle, right? So we’re gonna see Jesse and Lexi. We know they had a fling. We know that they split up. There’s a lot of details on that interesting stuff, dozens of posts, and honestly, I didn’t even read them all through, because I sort of like to watch and then go back, because I have the memory of a goldfish, so I do forget things. And it’s so funny, because you guys are the ones who remind me. And then I go back and look for the post right? Like, B, remember you said this? I’m like, wait, I did you got, I know you guys are the best. I think this is going to be a pretty pivotal summer for summer house, a season for summer house, because we’ve been feeling like the people in the house are getting a little on the older side. I know they’ve tried to bring some younger folks in. We’re still invested in some of the other people. And then we’ve got, obviously, Lindsay, who will be there while she’s pregnant. So, you know, I think a lot of people have been questioning whether the show is going to be able to continue to work in the future. You know, a lot of the same people who were questioning whether Vanderpump would. And so it should be, it should be a it should be an interesting one to see how all that vibe comes together. And seeing the new person, seeing more of Jesse, because I think Jesse is going to be kind of coming a lot more into his personality. And then Wes, well, who knows what, what Wes is going to be doing? I just can’t wait to see Sierra and guys. We said we’re recording on Wednesday, so we’re watching tonight. I can’t wait to see Sierra make West squirm. He was actually interviewed. I don’t know if you saw it. I shared it at the Super Bowl, and he was blackout drunk. Yeah, there’s a podcaster, Brianna, chicken fries. She goes by. She dated a country star. Well, West was spotted Zach Brian, and it had like there was a crazy, crazy breakup with her and Zach Brian, and he, also from Marshall, was all involved, yeah, so they were out to eat, and it seemed very chummy. And so at the Super Bowl, I don’t know if he was at the Super Bowl. He was just at the party. I don’t know, but he, when he was asked at the Super Bowl party, he drunkenly said, Oh yeah, we made out, like, very flippantly, what a doofus? Yeah, in a real doofus, like, fuck boy way, and people are turning on him at record speed. He just says foolish things on camera. It’s a little bit Austin 2.0 for me. I just hope Sierra’s next boyfriend is nothing like these two. If Paige is dating this agent, sports agent, can we get Sierra with the hot athlete, a hot athlete, a hot agent, a hot agent. Yeah, I like that. I feel a little bamboozled honestly by Wes, because when he came in, he really did seem like the non fuckbot Boy, and like when he was all sweaty getting ready for Sierra’s date, it was so and it was so endearing, right? And he he also kind of poked fun at the people who were being fuck boys. And then here we are, and it’s like, I don’t know if he was just always like that, and he had us all fooled, but Well, Paige pointed it out at the reunion very well, when she was like, all it took was a little bit of internet popularity, and you became like, Mr. Lover, lover, like, right? It’s, you know, and sophomore slump. I do find him funny, and I find Jesse funny, and certainly they’re entertaining and likable. And I think we’ll move on. And I think if he’s smart, he’ll hire a PR team. Ah.
And hopefully he’ll grow up a little bit like Austin did, right? So Carl was on a podcast and gave a really great interview. I’ve only seen clips. I have not been able to watch the whole thing, but he spoke really highly of Lindsay. I did listen to it, and, you know, I came away being like, wow, Carl is a really good guy, like he he really talks about his demons and the work he’s had to do, and very honestly points out still does you know need to do, and he’s a good guy. He told the truth about Lindsay and about all of his cast when asked, but he did it in a really respectful kind way. He was very complimentary of Lindsay, while explaining, he explained honestly why they didn’t work as a couple, but he also explained, like all of Lindsay’s really good qualities, what attracted him to her, what about their friendship and relationship was so valuable, it was really nice. And I’m have to imagine that Lindsay listened to it and felt good about what she heard. So speaking of Lindsay, what a class act, by the way. Girl, yeah, yeah, really and truly, he should be proud of himself, because he came a long way, yeah, and he did the work. And it’s like they always say, like, if you want to do better, you can only, if you want a better life, you have to, like, better yourself, right? Only way I was through, right? Yeah, it’d be nice if there was a back door, but there isn’t. Yeah. So Lindsay has rumors swirling that her and her, the father of her child, split. I have to tell you, immediately, when I heard this rumor, I reached out to a couple of people who have an inside track, right? They all said that while it’s certainly possible, because I do think that this guy, Turner is kind of a private guy. They haven’t heard of a breakup. And Lindsay has been very honest, and we’re going to see her say it on the season. And I believe she has said it on podcasts ahead of the season that they never planned to live together. They always plan to live separately. And she shared on a pod like the first months after the baby was born, he took paternity leave, so I have to imagine he was staying there more. One of my sources said that she did see him back at his place, but again, that was the plan, right? So, you know. And then they were spotted, and I posted it, and Lindsay actually commented and said, You guys are crazy. They were at hills, so they went to the pediatrician. And I guess, sort of in a reaction to the rumor, which we did not start, because I have not heard this rumor yet, they broke up. By the way, I think Lindsay has been very honest saying, like, I’m not speeding the relationship, I’m focusing on my daughter, and hopefully the relationship progresses, and they’re living separately. well, I mean, can you guys imagine what it would be like to not only have a newborn but a new relationship? I might be in the minority, but I think I respect the hell out of the way that they have approached this like, we live in 2025 there is no need for a shotgun wedding. Like, let them, let their relationship develop while, like, they’re not upending everyone’s lives. And like I said, I have a lot of respect for the way that they are doing this, which, by the way, gotta love it. One of the cocktails. Spotted them at lunch at Hillstone, which I love, by the way, which was, I think it was a different day than the day that it was after the pediatrician, yeah. So they were all at lunch, yeah. And you know, if they did split, clearly, it’s amicable, because they were at lunch, and it wasn’t only because of the pediatrician. And even if it was the same day, you don’t have to go to lunch. You to lunch if you’re both going to the pediatrician. Yeah, I too. Love Hill stone.
There’s, there was a chain Houston’s, which, there’s a restaurant group they have, yeah, the same menu items. Oh my gosh, they have this salad that I adore. It’s like a Thai beef noodle that’s so good this tiny, I mean, I am, like, Bubba Gump, or Forrest Gump, or whoever it is, I will list off like, a million menu items that I love, like I we shouldn’t get me started on this. It’s real quality. It’s a real quality place. It’s so good. They’re cocktails.
Yes, oh, they have one with, like, crushed grapes in it. I always do the mojito there, because I go in Florida and mojitos just seem very Floridian. Yes, absolutely. But yes, I will repo when this is live, I will repost the summer house master list. Okay, okay, good, okay, so I am really curious to hear what you’ve been hearing. There has been a lot of talks this week. I think it was du moi on her podcast, said something big is happening with Bravo this week. You guys all want to know, what is this vague, big announcement that is rumored to be happening? Is it something to do with jersey? Are they announcing their new show, which we hear is greenlit, based in Rhode Island. Are they sort of putting jersey on the back burner and gonna roll out Rhode Island? Is it something organizational? Is it something to do with bravocon? Seems bigger than bravocon, because we all know about bravocon. I do have some Jersey stuff, so if you’re not a cocktail, er, I can share with you guys that from what I’m hearing, it seems that everyone has been released from their contract. So postseason, this cast is sort of tied up in a contract that holds them for a few months, okay, that has expired. That doesn’t mean that they’re definitely not gonna go and use those people if and when they move forward with jersey. I can tell you that last I heard, there are no immediate plans with jersey. So I don’t think it’s an announcement like, Hey guys, this is who’s gonna be on jersey. I would be shocked. I’ll put it that way. I am willing to put money on the fact that they have Theresa held. And the reason, I think so is because they don’t want her running to another network. I mean, we see how many, how many shows she’s been on, right variants and this and that she’s always picked up for things. There was talk about her and Gia opening a restaurant. I think it’s very viable that they do something, some sort of spin off with Gia, with her daughters, just even something short, a few episodes to kind of keep everybody interested. GIA is has making it in Manhattan, coming out. I just heard today that should be airing. Wait, did they say May? Oh, no, that’s love hotel. I posted when it’s going to be airing. I can’t think of it right now, but I will repost it. Do you actually, I think I have it later in the script? Do you think, though that, like if it were that Teresa and Gia are announcing a show? Do you think that is, is what would be the big Bravo news? No, no, I think, I think that for it to be big Bravo news, it has to be a combo. So it’d have to be like new house, new housewife city, Rhode Island. Nothing’s happening with jersey, because I don’t think they’re going to say they’re canceled in Jersey, because I don’t think they want to cancel it. Maybe I’m wishful thinking, because as of right now, they don’t have a moving forward plan. But I will tell you what I’m not sure I’ve said anywhere but cocktail posts, which is that there was a new group of ladies do, and they were test filming due to backlash from fans. They completely paused that that filming, and they offered the there are five girls who, right now, have NDA contracts, placing them on a hold for nine months. So basically, what that means is they can’t sign on to another network for that time. So my thing is, if you have those girls on hold, why would you announce it before that’s up? That just doesn’t really make sense. Hmm, you know, unless they just have them on hold and they’re like, You know what? This isn’t working. Let’s just, I don’t know. Wow. I wonder what that what day we’re gonna be hearing about this, and maybe it’s something else we posted. We post a lot of things that we don’t know to be true and are later confirmed. So there was all that tea earlier in 2024
about something in Seattle, and then something in the Bay Area, something in the bay there was also Nola, yeah, maybe the big announcement is they have a couple of cities coming at us. And I was gonna say that would make sense to me. I feel like we have two or three new shows, not just making in Manhattan, but two news, two or three new cities that would be big news, right? And then, like, kind of leave Jersey out of the announcement. But once you know that there’s new cities in the mix, you know that nothing is exactly happening with jersey. I just don’t see a world where there’s so much buzz around jersey that, why wouldn’t they try to make something happen? If you love something, let it go and it will come back. Yeah. Maybe that’s where we are. I don’t know. I don’t know. Okay. Well, speaking of exclusives, we have one that is, like, literally hot off the presses from this morning. You got a DM from a cocktail er that said Real Housewives of OC drama question mark, I was shopping at Trader Joe’s in San Juan Capistrano, and saw this, housewives fiance looking cozy with a brunette woman. Aren’t they engaged still? So be you followed up asking if she was able to get a picture the cocktail was not because she was holding her child. And you asked, Are you sure it was him?
It. And she said, absolutely positive. Can’t miss that face and tight cropped skinny jeans. Haha. You know, we took the name out. I think the post speaks for itself. Cameras are up. They are currently up, yeah, so he if, in fact, this fiance is out and cozy with some woman, and this cocktail legitimately saw this. I have to imagine, if I’m hearing about it, it will get back to the other woman, namely, Tamara. And Tamara would make that a storyline, because she’s gonna need something to distract from Gretchen, who is sure to come for her. You know, Tamara, why don’t you just try to surprise all of us and actually not be the one to bring this up? Because somebody else will, somebody else. Well, right? Let Emily do it. Yeah, it doesn’t always have to be you. I don’t know. I hate this for this person. If it’s true. I mean, I don’t think you would say So either I can’t say I’m I would be completely shocked. Maybe it was a sister. Yeah, I always hug my brother in Trader Joe’s. You do. I’m kidding. You don’t have a brother because you’re an only child. I don’t know how gross it is when you’re out with your brother and people think you’re a couple, like me and my brother actively like, shout, brother, we’re not together. It’s so gross. There’s there’s literally nothing more cringe. So I just find that hard to believe somebody else said that the person has a teenage daughter who’s a brunette, but like, he’s not going to be cozy in that way with a teenage daughter, like, No guys, and I’m not listen, I love my cocktails, but you never know someone’s motive. I am choosing to believe that maybe this was somebody else who likes Ed Hardy could be. I mean, I think he’s a very recognizable face that does remind me, though, like one of my favorite games to play? Like, I love this. In Vegas, I love it. I mean, it played it a little bit in Nashville, is sugar daddy or actual daddy. It’s not funny. Amanda, would you guess when you’re, like, just trying to guess about a couple like, like, you don’t ask that on this, but you just see them across a bar, and you like, sugar daddy or actual daddy? Well, this happened to me with my father? Disgusting. Oh, no, really. Wait, okay, let me paint a picture for you. So my father is very My father’s a very dapper I always, I’ve probably said on this pod, he’s, like, the original Metro sexual like, Yeah, always is well dressed, and he’s always got manicures. Like, way before it was a thing that men did. So there is this place that we go to watch movies. That is be it’s not an assisted living, but it’s, it has a movie theater in its luxury it’s luxury apartments, okay? And the average age is probably 80, yeah. Okay, so it’s not assisted living, but it basically is for rich people. In any event, they have a diner there, they have a movie theater. And I used to always go with my mom and dad when I was a kid, and now we take the kids, because it’s just like, what, especially in the winter, if it’s like yucky weather, you go there. You could eat at the diner with the kids. You could take him to the movie done right. Go there. It’s me, my dad, my niece and my daughter and all, and it’s all old people in the diner, and all the old women were like, whispering about us. And I was like, Dad, Dad. Like, how I do with my brother? I That was the first time, because, you know, now that my dad’s a widow, and I was, like, first of all, mostly insulted that anyone would think I would be with, huh, a man my father’s age. But then, like, I kind of got it, because my father is, you know, good looking man and everything, so I guess they assumed he was my sugar daddy. Oh, my God, that would be so weird. So, yeah, yeah, no, gross. All my trauma is coming out in this pod.
Yeah. Speaking of engagement rumors, oh, the valley there. Somebody told me that the valley will be posted about this. A couple from the valley will be announcing their engagement at or around the time the show premieres. Somebody said mid April, and I had heard it’s at the end of Beverly Hills. So could we have that much longer Beverly Hills? I hope I like it. Yeah, me too. I guess we could, if we factor in all the episodes, three, three reunion episodes, that’s got it, yeah? So that makes you’re in February, so March, yeah, obviously it would be Michelle and her man, right? This is all alleged. I guess we’ll see. It does seem quick. She does seem happy. I’m really excited about the valley. I’m very excited to see Jesse and Kristen’s friendship because they seem like thick as thieves, and we know that they were beefing, but all it takes is a common enemy, right? Right? Namely, Michelle and it wouldn’t be Jesse and his girlfriend. I mean, I was told it was Michelle and her guy. So, yeah, okay, I’m not really supposed to say that. But oops, I mean, not that the person told me not to. It’s more like, I guess I shouldn’t ruin someone, but engagement. But I think that they know, like, obviously, I think that they like, plan to get engaged. I don’t think it’s a surprise, yeah, generally, my somebody I know used to always say, hey, like, their only advice about marriage is, don’t ask somebody to marry you unless you’re sure they’re gonna say yes, right?
Oh, my God, I love that advice. That’s good advice. I don’t know.

Oh, I’m happy for that often. Do you think people say no? Like, I don’t know anyone who has asked and said no, do you No, I can’t. I mean, I can think of like, in times that broke up, yeah, or I can think of times that you’ve seen it where somebody does it publicly, like a video, but I’ve never, I can’t think of anybody in my real life where that’s happened. Let us know if you have had this because, yeah, that would actually probably be a good a good story to hear from cocktail ers so Valley people it, I think it’s worth bringing up that we got some stuff about Tom and Jax on their live show. I forget what city they were in, but they were one of those city wineries. And then we got some stuff from people who saw Tom at the bar down the street. But during the show, apparently Jax claimed that everything is good with him. And Brett and Laurie K was in the audience. And like, god bless Lori k, because she has to put up with so much. And apparently he does listen to her. I hear Ola is not good with him and Brit they said that the show was entertaining. Schwartz was very nice, of course. After the show, Schwartz was at a bar, hanging with a gaggle of young girls. I do wonder, like, what they make for these like city, winey winery appearances, it has to be worth the travel, and there’s two of them, and he’s got to pay his agent and
and his PR, yeah. I mean, I would imagine they get an appearance fee, and they get a cut of the ticket sales, and I feel like they probably know they need to strike while the iron is hot. So, and the cocktail who wrote in said she really enjoyed the show, and it would go again, yeah, yeah. So that’s a good for them. Can’t Knock the Hustle. I know if they I think if they came in into town and I wasn’t, like, washing my hair or something, I would go, Ah, yeah, I’m kidding, I probably would go, just out of curiosity, okay, I want to talk about Beverly Hills, because, again, it’s just, it’s been such good episodes. This one, the focus was really on Sutton’s trip to Augusta to see her mom. I feel like I laughed. I feel like I cried. I think, you know, hearing Sutton talk about her father’s death, you could feel the pain through the screen like she was very honest about the fact that her father was doing multiple drugs and drinking to excess in the days leading up to his death, and that she harbors some resentment towards her mom about this, which I can only imagine all the complicated feelings around this. Her story about how he would always, always hold his hand out and she would slap it, and when she left the room the day before he died, he didn’t and she touched his toe, it was, like, really poignant. Yeah, it was, and she was like, if I had only sat down, if I had only, you know, if I had only just spent a little bit more time with him. And I have to say, I mean, Reba is a firecracker, obviously, but I also felt for her, and I feel like I saw more insight into her, because I think being in a relationship with someone with substance abuse problem, it’s, it’s a roller coaster of highs and lows, and it’s the only thing you can depend on is that the roller coaster will keep going every day. And Reba is a therapist, which I thought was very interesting, but I’m guessing, even as a therapist, you wouldn’t know necessarily always how best to help somebody who is in a situation. I can only imagine the guilt she felt and must still feel about this. Well, not in regards to her not being able to help her husband. But I did find it shocking learning that Reba was a therapist, because it’s kind of like how they say the shoemakers has no shoes, the yeah that there’s Yes, completely, like you see with her relationship with her daughter. As a therapist, she must have guided families through, you know, mothers and daughters through, and yet in her own life, she’s so avoidant. Yeah, the advice she must give her clients, clearly she hasn’t been able to put into practice in her own life. It’s sad I feel, I really feel for Reba. I do think she’s tough, but I feel for her. I can say just from my own personal experience when your parents are married, and it may be different if your parents aren’t married, but if your parents are married, as Sutton’s were, and as mine were, when you lose a parent, which I did, even in a healthy and I had a very healthy family dynamic, I’m very.
Fortunate, but it became a new dynamic, right when, when I lost my mom, although I had always had a healthy relationship with my dad, navigating our new normal without my mom there really made our relationship different. Yeah, her and it’s been really good in many ways, because it’s made us a lot closer. Because I don’t know, I guess, and this isn’t true for everybody, but for me, I sort of everything went through my mom, right? And for my dad, he went through my mom, and then, like, I went through my mom. And even more so as an adult, like, you know, I don’t know, my mom would check in, and then she would tell my dad, oh, B is doing this today with kids. And so he would know, and he would know what was going on. But now, you know, I’m telling him. So in some ways it’s really good, and other things are tough, right? Because I can find it in my mom a lot, and it seemed that that was Sutton’s person more so than her mom. So it puts more pressure. And you do learn as time goes, right? Because now it’s five years that my mom is gone, and I think that my dad has learned what I need a little bit more, and I’ve learned what he’s capable of. And like, I never really had the expectation that he could do what my mom did, because it’s a different person, right, right? So I really a totally different circumstance. And of course, there’s tragedy. Death is tragic, but suicide is different. And I think we all felt for her, and I could relate to like and when her mom said we can do better. That was such a great moment, and you saw it in both their faces, because it does. It will take the both of them. It takes two people in any relationship. And I think in that moment, Sutton sort of realized too, like, this isn’t just about my mom, it’s also about how I am in our relationship. Yeah, yeah, I agree. And I think Reva saying we can do better, sudden new in the moment like that is that was really big for Reba to come out and say yes. But back to the laughter moments. I mean, AVI is, he is just kind of on screen comedy. I just a way about him, but he was clearly barely holding back his annoyance with Reba. Yeah, I loved that the editors showing a compilation of Sutton bossing Avi around the same way as Reba was perfect. Yeah, Garcelle and Kyle’s eavesdropping like it was nice to see those silly moment, and I really liked Garcelle and Kyle having that time together, yeah, because I feel like they’ve always been stuck in the mud. They both like each other, but they just could never get past things. Yeah, so I hope that this weekend, that that weekend, because it gave them time to bond like they were two of Sutton’s helpers that weekend, and so it gave them a time to spend time together in a different capacity, where they were seeing eye to eye, maybe for one of the first times, and I think that that can change the trajectory for them. I hope. I hope so too. I really did. I agree. I enjoyed seeing them really being there just to support Sutton. I thought Garcelle had great intentions, and we don’t know if there were any conversations that she had with Sutton about maybe Sutton asking for help when you know Garcelle trying to talk to Reba. I kind of agreed with Reba that it wasn’t really garcelles place, but I hated the way Reba talked to her. She really spoke down to Garcelle. I did not like that. Yeah, I mean, Reba is very rough around the edges, and I think that that’s kind of like what Sutton’s talking about. Yeah, you know, like she was nicer to Kyle. Kyle kept it very surface with Reba. She basically listened and laughed. She didn’t, if you notice, she didn’t say too much, like Kyle was. Kyle comes from a very controlling mother. We’ve all heard the stories, so I think it was big Kathy, like, I think it was very interesting, because I think that Kyle understood and was not prepared to go, whereas I think Garcelle came from a mom more like our moms, who were very loving, yeah. And so she was able to try where Kyle kind of knew, like, Oh no, I’m not going there. Yep, yeah, stay on this side of the counter. Yeah, I agree. Erica dorit and baz is dinner. I mean, Erica and dorit were endearing. I know, like, what a great addition she is, because bringing out the best in I want to say specifically Dorit, because, yeah, and Erica, because the last few seasons, we’ve seen not such a playful side of Erica. It’s perfect casting. When you find somebody who brings out layers in the other women while also giving their own dynamic story. It really makes the show, and it made Lisa reynas whole thing, that whole clip about the Titanic sinking, which Andy confronted her about on his podcast, like, I think maybe she wishes it was that. And it’s odd, because Lisa is Rena is having great success, and we’re, I’m happy for her. We’re happy for her. But this is very clearly not a sinking situation right down there, groove, Buzz, it’s always say it right, it’s Boz right. Booze, it’s both.
What’s wrong with me? Bose is a huge, huge part of that I can I couldn’t agree more. I think I loved your point about somebody who brings out the layers and the other women, and I think that’s because she is so immediately likable and so easy. It was like she gained her everybody’s trust, including ours, very quickly. And, you know, she’s a solid person. There’s something about her inherently solid. She knows herself. She know like it’s, it’s hard to explain. Yeah, she’s like a beacon, right? Because she has this wisdom. And I loved that at this dinner, you know, she pointed out that to dorit that, you know, in do it’s like I had this conversation with PK and and it was great. And that she was like, Dorit, this could be a trick. And, you know, Dorit was kind of resistant at first, but then once again, you know, I gotta give points to Dorit, because she is actually listening to her friends. Because she, you know, she does seem lost. But, you know, girls need their good friends when going through times like this. And it was very interesting to me that even, or maybe because of, or even, even though one of the two, I’m not sure that Bose is a new friend, and she’s giving this good advice, and dorit is maybe it’s almost getting through to read more, because Bose is a new friend and so wise, I don’t know. Yeah, I think it could be that
we spoke about her baby plans a little bit last week, right? And it seems that we did get more clarity this week, because when she was speaking to her daughter, who is gorgeous, but so, I mean, they’re both gorgeous, but her daughter, how old is her daughter? About 12? No, I think it’s, didn’t it say 17, okay? Because she looked older. And then I was like, Wait, isn’t she Okay? That makes more sense. She said that she had asked her daughter’s feelings before, and when her daughter was younger, she didn’t want her to have another child, and it was a really sweet conversation, and it’s clearly something that Bose has always wanted to have more children right now, this is my thing to your point, like, I just hope she’s not doing this with this guy, because she feels like I have to be with a guy to have a baby. Yeah, invest so much in him who hasn’t told you he loves you yet. Because you feel like your window is closing. Just have the baby if you want the baby. But maybe that’s not fear. I don’t know. I mean, it just it strike continues to strike me, that for somebody so wise, like and like this, this is kind of a thing, right, where sometimes people can see other people’s situations very clearly, but not their own. And it’s strange to me that she isn’t kind of looking at her own situation a little bit more critically. But isn’t this often the case? Right? Like I can give you great advice, and then when I found find myself in a similar situation, I’m at a loss. I’m unable to take, yeah, my own advice, look at Reba, a therapist, right, unable to use the tools. She’s 82 years old. She’s my therapist her whole adult life, yeah, but is unable to do it in her own relationship with her daughter. I think if she wants a baby, have the baby. But maybe it’s not fair for me to say that for a variety of reasons, because maybe whether she’s with the father or not, she wants the baby to have a father, and her daughter lost her father, so maybe it’s important to her from that regard, like we can’t speak to her, why I just the overall is Erica Durie and like the three of them sitting there and being so honest with each other is so refreshing, because I think, and there are a lot of things I like about Kyle, but I think if dorit went to Kyle with this, let’s say things were good between them, I think Kyle would just be inclined to nod and and even if she thought it not say it like there is real truth in what they told her at that dinner. Like, yeah, I know in divorce, I have heard this on TV, and I think it’s true. If I live in Beverly Hills, if I speak to every top divorce lawyer in Beverly Hills, they can now not work for the person I’m divorcing. True it is, and it is actually a very commonly used strategy in divorce, where there’s certain firms and certain certain lawyers who are known for being Bulldogs or, you know, having really good forensic accounting teams, you know, whatever it might be. And it is, it’s, this is, it’s a thing. It’s not just, this is not just a, you know, just on TV kind of thing. It’s a it’s a real thing. And so what Erica said is 100% true, yeah, PK is a shark. He’s shrewd in business. He’s going to be shrewd in the business of divorce. The real truth is, this was all happening in real time, and we don’t even know where they’re at, no, you know. So we don’t know what has trans.
Fire, because dorit wants to secure that next season. And I as so long as this is ongoing, and especially with this new dynamic between these three women, I think that dorit has easily secured her season. It’s just a great cast, even like Jennifer Tilly, who I don’t even think she was on this episode, was she No, but she brings a lightness to it. There is, and this is so rare, I don’t think there’s anyone I would want them to get rid of. No. I mean, Kathy Hilton, just even with her cameo where she’s putting a phone in her face, yes, and she’s like, Kathy, remember, this is a FaceTime. I mean, I don’t care. I know everyone’s like, Oh, you just fall for her shtick. I mean, do I Yes, but like, it’s funny. I mean, we can appreciate it for probably being shtick, but also love it as well, because she does it so well. She does it so well. If it’s shtick, then she really missed her calling, and she should be a comedian. Yeah, I enjoyed it. I think hopefully dorit took that to heart, because just because you call and have a conversation with a lawyer to conflict them out, that doesn’t mean you have to go through with the divorce. It’s just smart advice, exactly, yeah? Or, like, it doesn’t, and it wouldn’t call one or two that are that you know, you know we’re good, yeah? So that should you move forward? Then you have, you can use those two Exactly. It’s gonna be a real and like, I just can’t even imagine how awful that would feel to like be going through the divorce, but then to realize that your spouse got ahead of you. Was playing nice, but in the meantime, had just had a consultation with every top attorney in your area. Yeah. What was that movie? No, it was a show, dear, dear, dear John. And it was about the, it was about Betty Broderick and the way that so her husband. This is like, where I knew it from, 80s, yes, Christian Slater is the husband. I think it was 80s, 80s, yeah. And he has a, he has an affair, he decides he wants a divorce, and then Betty is like, not having it, not having it. And then finally, she realizes she needs to get a lawyer, and she calls around, and she can’t get anybody, because he’s called everybody, by the way, guys, if you haven’t watched the Betty, dirty John, dirty John. Dirty John. Yes, there were two. One was Betty Broderick, and then one was that pretty blonde actress whose name is escaping me, and it was the the guy was, is it Jim Caviezel? Is that who I was? And he was, like, the dating, the guy who, like, pretended to be a doctor, yes, and then tried to kill the girls, the woman’s daughter, right? Yeah, that was a good both seasons were so good, highly so good. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a binge show the
dirty John. Dirty John. I was like, Dear John, yeah, dirty John. We also and Amanda. We have to, I think we will be covering this in some capacity, whether we do a zoom or we do it in cocktail or whatever. White Lotus is coming out. Oh, I can’t wait. Like this weekend, it’s on Sunday. I think I’m gonna be away, but that’s all right, I will catch up. I’ll make sure I catch up. I’m really excited. I I mean, I’m gonna miss Jennifer Coolidge, I know, but I know who is in it, that actor, I think Walter Goggins is his name and so good. I can’t even it’s gonna was he is that role? It might have been you that it was like there’s something about when it feels like all the world is all watching a television show on HBO together on Sunday nights. That was me. Yes,
it is so true. Like, so true. HP, I know that so many other networks have great ones now, but like, I guess because we go back to, like, back in the day when HBO and sex show time were the only sex they were always, I don’t know, I don’t know if you watch board work empire, I did, but like, they’re used you, you kids. Don’t know how good you have it with all these streaming channels, but it was great when, yeah, when everyone you know is watching something, and especially in this world we live in, where you want to avoid so many topics with people, it’s nice to have a show that everybody enjoys. Yeah? So true. It gives you something to talk about with people that you don’t want to talk about anything else with I don’t watch. Bravo. There’s a lot of cocktails who are also Game of Thrones nerds like me, so I’ve been able to talk with them about that kind of stuff too. There’s a lot of us who like over watched it.
