Yep it’s true. Native Italian Rhode Islander here. I know two people who are filming right now in Cranston, RI.

I have family that lives in the neighborhood they are filming in.
I’ll see my cousin who lives in that neighborhood on Christmas Eve to confirm but she did tell me it was for housewives!
* also A couple people mentioned there are tax breaks to film in Rhode Island so that might be appealing as well.
