Okay adding to the Camp Getaway stories lol
So I went there for a few summers as a teenager with my dad – it was like a week or two they did where divorced parents and families brought their kids for bonding.
Yeah the bonding was our parents getting drunk at the bar in the lake house on the lake and us breaking into the liquor cabinet and doing all sorts of wild shit in remote areas 😂😂😂😂. We had a good group as far as parents & kids but we heard wild creepy stories about some other groups that would come at other times. My dad still denies ever being passed out drunk just like I still deny all the shit me and my friends did there 😂😂😂😂😂😂
They also had swingers week like right after divorced families week – some of the dads who had older kids would send them home and “stay behind” thinking we didn’t know it was the swingers week immediately after. I forget what they used to call swingers week. Let me just say if their movie theater could talk…Bravo would look like the Hallmark channel. 🙃🫠😂
