I don’t think that’s what anyone means when we say we hope he didn’t do it. We literally just hope it’s not true. Why would you want it to be true? If it’s not true, then there are no victims. That’s a good thing. Unfortunately things do seem to be leaning towards this being the truth and I’m sure most sane people hope his victims get justice.
If he stepped down, he’s probably guilty! I know someone personally who was falsely accused of sexual assault! So, no, I don’t believe all women! ??♀️
